Tempest Axe Hunter Art Details

- Noticeable increase to Movement Speed while in Axe Mode
- Draw Attack is slightly faster
- Axe Thrust 25% faster
- Axe Chops use half as much stamina
    - 2nd chop is 10% faster
    - 3rd chop and beyond are 25% faster
- New X finisher to chops

Guild - Base

Striker

- Loses a few moves:
    - The finisher after Axe Chops
        - Your only options now are to do an X attack, roll, or nothing.
    - Sword mode's double horizontal swings (second A attack)
        -  Replaced by the vertical down swing.

Aerial

- Vertical up Axe swing can now morph into Sword with R
- Loses a few moves:
    - Run-in Axe thrust.
    - Grounded Elemental Burst
- Several options when jumping off monster:
    - From sheathed:
        - X for Axe swing.
        - R+X+A for Sword swing. (becomes Reload if RELOAD is showing)
    - From Axe mode:
        - X for Axe swing.
        - R for Sword swing. (becomes Reload if RELOAD is showing)
        - X+A for Elemental Burst (you'll start charging when you land)
    - From Sword mode:
        - Automatic rising attack when you jump off. (uses some of the meter)
        - X for Sword swing.
        - R for Axe swing.
        - X+A for Elemental Burst (you'll start charging when you land)

Adept

- Vertical up Axe swing can now morph into Sword with R
- Loses a few moves:
    - The finisher after Axe Chops
        - Your only options now are to do an X attack, roll, or nothing.
    - The vertical up Sword swing (second X attack)
        - Replaced by the single horizontal swing.
    - The post-evade Sword attack
- Adept Evade is affected by the mode you come from:
    - From unsheathed:
        - X for the missing finisher from Axe Chops, then you can tap R to do a vertical down Sword swing.
        - R+X+A for two quick up Sword swings, then you can tap R to do a vertical down Axe swing.
    - From Axe:
        - X is the same as from unsheathed.
    - From Sword:
        - X for the equivalent of unsheathed's R+X+A.

Brave

- Morph Attacks, Sword Double Horizontal Swings, and Finisher after Axe Chops linked to Brave Stance
- Y for Brave Sheathe
    - Hold Y to stay in Brave Stance (Drains Stamina)
    - Axe Mode:
        - X for Axe Finisher
        - R for Morph into Sword Attack
    - Sword Mode:
        - X for Up Sword Swing
        - A for Double Swing
        - R for Morph Axe Side Chop
- Brave Mode
    - Axe Mode:
        - Chainable Dash Evades (Can go into approaching poke (X) or axe upswing (X+A))
        - Press R to morph after Axe Thrust, Side Chop, or Axe Finisher into Sword Double Swing
        - R from Brave Stance also goes into Sword Double Swing
        - Can go into Axe Finisher after Axe Chops again
    - Sword Mode:
        - NON-Chainable Dash Evades (Can go into Up Sword Swing (X) or Double Swing (A))
        - Elemental Burst explodes twice now at the end (you can still end the burst early with back+X for a single explosion)
            - Press X after Elemental Burst to stay in Sword Mode and do Vertical Slash
            - Press A after Elemental Burst to stay in Sword Mode and do Horizontal Slash
            - Press R after Elemental Burst to morph into Axe Chops
            - Press B after Elemental Burst to dash evade in Sword Mode
        - R after any Sword Attack morphs into Axe Chops
        - R from Brave Stance morphs into Axe Chops as well

Alchemy

- Axe Mode:
    - A after Approaching Poke morphs into Sword Vertical Slash
    - You can morph into Sword Vertical Slash after Axe Overhead with R
- Sword Mode:
    - X after Vertical Slash goes into Side Slash
    - X after Side Slash morphs into Axe Side Chop
    - X or R after Double Swing morphs into Axe Side Chop
