How well do you know the source material?(obviously not relevant if it's a transformation): Weapons soul is binding between blade and soul in which the soul sends energy to the blade by binded purpose, with this being said Hisoka is a protag in the making fighting against zombies in demons with his purpose being to protect the weak and the depraved. This is a holy effort.
Reasoning: After training with nova Hisoka got his power of weapon soul however once Nova was named the Saint swordsman he was driven out of the city for continuous use of his power reviving many fallen men whether it was an enemy or not. After being abandoned Hisoka continued on his weapon soul power even taking in a student named Kalia and teaching her what he was taught, as time went by foe after foe kept showing up - but even if they were stronger hisoka didn't not turn back because of the purpose both his soul and his blade holds together - a holy purpose of protecting the weak and the people who cannot fight for themselves. After some training done with bloodregard Hisoka was able to master this technique and continue to train his student kalia for the battle that is to come.
