♛ PART TWO: BABY DON'T LIKE IT ㅡ NCT 127 ♛

personality | all eyes will be on her once she enters the room, ryu shinae is a gorgeous, young and wild exhibitionist who isn't afraid of openly showing herself or her body. many often describe her as a crazy and conceited girl too—which might be half true, but she's just confident to no end about her looks and isn't afraid to stand or speak up when she thinks something is wrong. shinae's a party animal who loves to go clubbing until the sun rises and is always seen hooking up with random strangers on a daily too—but she's definitely a no strings attached type of girl since she isn't fond of commitment and being in a long term relationship makes her feel tied down.

she's also a fierce and independent girl that needs nobody but herself—which is a pretty good thing since no one can trust her anyway as her words are usually anything but the truth. shinae lacks empathy and could care less of what the others think of her. it's everyone to themselves and she'll be quick to betray anyone no matter who it is, but she's also capable to show a bit of  loyalty if only you give your trust to her first. her personality often rubs people the wrong way but shinae just has an eccentric way of thinking making her personality even more out of the box and hard to predict. has some unusual tendencies too—she often says weird things out of the blue or ask random questions or laughing in a complete serious atmosphere. she may love to rebel and suck dicks, but she's actually really lonely and in need of someone that will truly love her for who she is.


background | growing up, shinae had quite a rough childhood, much to everyone's surprise. her parents had always been in a rocky relationship ever since they tied the knot right out of high school—and the stress of raising a family was probably too big for the young couple to handle at that time. though her parents loved each other, their different personalities and tastes often lead them to having disagreements and relentless fights. shinae would even be woken up in the middle of the night to hear her parents shouts and the sound of objects breaking. she probably never really had a decent conversation with her parents—which isn't that much of a surprise since her mother and father rarely spent time with her, being busy with their fights and occupation, leaving shinae alone to take care of herself at a young age.

it wasn't until her mother finally had enough and decided to file a divorce had the house became a bit more peaceful. shinae was also only 7 at that time so she didn't exactly get why her parents would want to separate—she was just happy that she could at least sleep a bit soundly now. she lived quite happily after that too, but her father would often scold her whenever she gets back home past midnight or whenever she got into detention for talking back to a teacher. other than that, her father mostly just busied himself with his own stuff because he doesn't know how to interact with her daughter. he doesn't even know what shinae's favorite color or food is due to never giving her enough attention when she was a child and this only results in them becoming more and more distant.

how do they act around the other players |
some players, especially the girls, aren't really fond of her but she doesn't care and just does her own thing. also loves to flirt with the other boy players but she's never serious with them. most of them don't trust her too, but the few who plucks up their courage to really get to know her know that she's actually not that bad. she likes to tease IMMATURE because she's so naive and is probably often seen hanging out with GONE BAD or DREAMIN. in the beginning, she'll probably get into disagreements with some of the players but after awhile, they'll come up with some agreement.

can they handle pain: yes

are they afraid of dying: no
are they good liars: yes, but BLOOD is probably a bit better at lying

any ideas for interactions between the characters:

( 1 ) comforting someone.
she usually wasn't the type to go comfort someone but she found herself reaching a hand out to one of the players who was feeling down. helping that player out actually made her feel a bit better too.

( 2 ) conflict.
shinae having a heated argument with one of the other girl players because the other girl crossed her line + they nearly tackled each other if the others weren't there to stop them

( 3 ) a happy memory.
while they were walking through the game, one of them started singing a line of a recent popular song and the others decided to join in. they take turns line by line and they have a mini sing along in the middle of the dangerous game.


love interest: HERO
back-up love interest: GONE BAD

how do they act around their love interest: basically just her normal self whenever he's around, but shinae never recalled having this much fun with any other boy she played with.
he's basically the complete opposite of shinae—kind, responsible and  though she claims that he's lame and boring, she lowkey enjoys his company since he's easy to talk to. often initiates skinship with him too, wether it be jumping onto his back for piggy back rides or just grabbing his hand to tow him off to join her in another one of her crazy ideas. shinae doesn't trust anyone in the game, but he was the first and one of the few players that gained her trust along the way.  she probably doesn't realize her feelings for him are genuine since she's so used to flirting and being in short relationship with other guys that she's practically immune to falling hard in love.

how would they react to their love interest dying: she would be really sad, but probably won't openly show it to the others. she'll sometimes break down when she's 100% sure she's alone but whenever she's with the other players, she'll become her usual self again. others honestly would've thought the she didn't even care about him judging by how she acts so indifferently—when in reality, she's probably the one who's the most effected by his death. it'll take a few days, but she slowly learns to accept that he's gone. she'll always remember him as a nice friend for as long as she lives.


ideas for interactions with love interest:

( 1 ) lost.
all of the players splitting up into groups to do something and shinae ended up being paired with the li. but they somehow ended up forgetting where they came from and lost their way.

( 2 ) late night talk.
shinae having trouble falling asleep + when the love interest happens to wake up from his sleep for a moment because the person beside him was hugging him too tight in his sleep. he notices she was the only one still awake so he decided to sit beside shinae and accompany her.
