	+ all hail the queen, her majesty chunhwa is reigning sovereign of the campus. her word is basically gospel and anyone who disobeys her gets a fresh taste of hell. all of her friends are yes-men and will do/say anything to be her favorite. she has designated spots all around the school and new transfers learn very quickly where not to sit. despite having a sea of people with her at all times, chunhwa is probably the most hated person on campus. even her own boyfriend hates her, which is why he broke up with her. since their very public breakup, many people have tried to dethrone her but she's the queen bee for a reason and crushed them like cockroaches. some people even had to transfer to a different college. thus, worsening her already terrible reputation. chunhwa is cold, calculating, and manipulative (or acts like it). she knows what she wants and doesn't have a problem resorting to any method to get it, no matter how low she must stoop. her most common tactic is to just throw money at it, and it usually works. she's a girl with too much money and that makes her dangerous. but underneath that frigid and lifeless exterior, chunhwa is just a bitter and lonely soul. she's extremely insecure about herself and just hides behind her bank account. she's an ice queen at school because it's her defense mechanism, when in fact she's quite sensitive.
	+ she has a habit of magnifying all of her flaws and blemishes, and would probably get plastic surgery if it weren't for her phobia of knives/needles/sharp objects in general. even though she's extremely rough around the edges, there is still some good in her. she is very protective, borderline possessive, over the few things/people she cares about. if you can get past her icy facade, she's a genuine and loyal person. she has a tendency to drive people away, however, by pretending like she doesn't really care when in reality all she wants is for someone to like her. chunhwa is also extremely stubborn. like it's slightly ridiculous how persistent she can be, which is why she's a very good persuader. she has a strong sense of justice/revenge and lives by the "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" motto, which is why her reputation on-campus is not the most positive since she must ALWAYS have the last laugh.

	+ daughter of one of the most sought-after plastic surgeons in asia and a former supermodel, beauty was something that was always prized in chunhwa's household. her parents weren't necessarily awful or abusive toward their daughter, but they were very clear that being anything less than beautiful was not tolerated. her mother taught her how to apply makeup and do intricate hairstyles the moment she hit the double digits in age. since chunhwa was on the petite side, her mom taught her how to sit ramrod straight to give the illusion that she was taller. although her mom never verbally expressed disdain for her daughter's lackluster height, she made it very obvious in her facial expressions and how angry she got when she caught chunhwa slouching. chunhwa was mostly raised by her mom, since her father was always traveling all over the place to perform surgeries. chunhwa's fear of knives and needles stemmed because of him. her father didn't really see a point in censoring his daughter from the graphic images of a cosmetic surgery and has always just been opening medical files filled with gruesome pictures of patients recovering around her. in regards to school and her social life, chunhwa was never really monitored and could do whatever she wanted as long as she did it beautifully.

	  - once she realizes his condition, chunhwa tries to be nice to him but also mean to him at the same time. she doesn't want him to know that she thinks he's depressed and tries to keep her attitude toward him the same while still subtly helping him out. obviously, jimin's not stupid and tries his best to be a complete asshole to her in an attempt to drive her away. eventually, he caves in to her stubbornness and even starts to fall for her once he gets past her facade. chunhwa also starts to harbor a crush on him, but the two still act like they hate each other when they're in the public eye since no one knows about jimin's depression.

	+ things start to change when she is dragged to one of his dance performances and she is completely take aback by the woeful exhibition. chunhwa didn't realize jimin was capable of such a powerful performance and she even starts to respect him a bit more, although she would never admit it. the next time she saw him was at a party. she went to use the bathroom and caught in just sitting in a full bathtub, completely clothed. having seen crazier people during rotations at a psych ward, chunhwa easily managed to keep her face neutral. instead of asking him what the hell he was doing, she just snapped at him to get out so she could pee. surprised at her casual reaction, but nonetheless getting out, jimin left the bathroom in a daze. once she was alone, chunhwa slowly began to question his mental state. when she saw him again, she acted like nothing ever happened and it became a strange elephant in the room. she immediately began keeping an eye on him and attending a lot of his parties before she finally realized he was depressed.
