  1. Ships and Weapons of the Neo Legion of Steel
  2. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  3. Asp Class Light Frigate: The Asp Class can barely be called a frigate, being one of the lightest combat ships per-tonnage the legion possesses. Formerly designated the Viper during the Terran-Xan war, the ship was the former mainstay of the Legion Space Forces fleet. While older designs had space for the ancient, but effective Zaku 2 F2 to launch from, the modern design has abandoned such for increased armor and power. The Asp Class is armed with 3 60mm light rail guns. Like many other legion craft, the primary power source is the Dornan Fusion Reactor, named after the scientist Kyle Dornan who made it. The ship's FTL drive is the Type-74, a reverse engineered piece of Xan technology over 200 years old. While comparable to more modern FTL drives, it is not as efficient due to it's age.
  4.
  5. Sol Class Mobile Shipyard: Named after the giver of life to all of humanity, this massive shipyard can construct Legion voidcraft up to the venerable Mars Class Carrier. The shipyard is unarmed, and must rely on other combat craft to protect it. With enough resources and manpower, the Sol Class could create a Legion Approved Combat fleet within a few (turns). The Sol Class possesses 2 ship exits, It's primary, top mounted exit for destroyer class to carrier class ships, and a smaller, side mounted exit for frigate class ships and below.
  6.
  7. Sovereign Class Colony Ship: The pinnacle of Legion civilian voidship technology, the Sovereign is able to hold almost 10,000,000 people on it. A considerable amount for colonization. It possesses enough water filtration and food production to feed almost twice as many individuals, but resources are rationed in case of emergency. Living quarters are spartan for all inhabitants as well, from civilian hydroponic farmers to generals of the NLoS's army. It is on this ship that the NLoS's government, HighCom, is located and where tactical coordination is provided to the larger fleet. While armored, the Sovereign Class lacks any weapons systems, with most power dedicated to much more essential things like UV lighting for the vast Hydroponics and Water Filtration. Any unfortunate boarders to the ship would have to deal with not only the army of the Legion, but a heavily armed populace, as gun restrictions are non existent, and most civilians having served their compulsory military service of 4 years.
  8.
  9. AMES-12 DOGA: The AMES-12 is the first in the newest generation of the venerable line of Mobile Exoskeletal Suits. The DOGA is constructed of relatively common "Lunar Titanium" alloy, and utilizes a vast array of weapons platforms. It's primary weapons loadout consists of a MG-04 Energy Autocannon, 4 disposable plasma warhead (Shaped Charge) rocket launchers stored on the left arm shield, and a Variable Plasma axe/spike. The AMES-12 is officially designated a Heavy Combat Suit, and is used in the "Bomber" role as a strike craft.
  10.
  11. AMES-14 ZULU: The AMES-14 is one of the newest generation of the venerable line of Mobile Exoskeletal Suits. The ZULU is constructed of relatively common "Lunar Titanium" alloy, and utilizes a vast array of weapons platforms. It's primary weapons loadout consists of a ADK-12 Energy Pulse Rifle with an undermounted RPG, 1 heavy disposable plasma warhead (Shaped Charge) rocket launcher stored on the rear of the suit, and a Variable Plasma axe/spike. The AMES-14 is officially designated a Main Combat Suit, and is used in the "Fighter/Interceptor" role as a strike craft.
  12.
  13. Legionary Marines: The backbone of the NLoS's army, the marine can easily be identified by their uniquely oval shaped helmets. The ordinary legionary is a volunteer, though conscription is not uncommon in times of war. They undergo 3 months of basic training, with specialized training for Shock Infantry. The standard issue equipment includes the ADK-192 Automatic rifle, the Haakman .45 handgun, 2 Anti-personnel grenades, and various miscellaneous gear.
