  1. My brother has been the single most supportive person in my life, for the entirety of my life. He's always been there for me. He's had it far, far harder than I have, and yet he has went through his entire life pushing his own problems aside in order to help me with mine. His number one goal in life was ensuring that I didn't have to deal with the difficulties that he has.
  2.
  3. My brother is 28 years old. I've always done what I could for him, but that's mostly amounted to just being there for him, trying to get him to talk about his problems, and giving him whatever advice I could. Being 6 years younger than him, it's been difficult to help him with a lot of things in more practical ways. But I've done my best.
  4.
  5. I don't think my best is what my brother deserves. He deserves far, far more than what I can offer. This is why I'm reaching out to the only people I know can help me do something life changing for him: my community, the speedrunning community, and the gaming community entirely.
  6.
  7. My brother currently lives with my Dad. He has lived there for years. He has moved out prior to that, but when the relationship he was in at the time didn't pan out, he was forced to move back home. In the home he grew up in.
  8.
  9. I know I haven't spoken about this a lot, but you may have heard that I didn't have the best childhood. One thing I haven't gone into is the fact that my brother had it about a hundred times worse.
  10.
  11. Because of what he had to deal with, he has been having a very, very difficult life for many years now. And, instead of shutting down, instead of being negative all the time, what did he do? He worked his ASS off, all the while supporting me as much as humanely possible just to make sure my life is better than his was and is.
  12.
  13. My brother deserves more than I can ever give him for what he's done. My brother is the biggest inspiration in my life, by far. I'll always look up to him. And I want to do something special for him this Christmas. I want to help him in a practical way for once. Moral support is one thing, practical support is another.
  14.
  15. My brother has been doing all he can to save money for a long time now. He's planning on moving out around the first few months of the new year. But it won't be easy for him. Student loan payments, therapy, rent, utilities, car insurance payments, and a lot more. It really won't be easy.
  16.
  17. The goal of this donation drive is to make it easier for my brother. For once in his life, I want my brother to get an unexpected break. I want to help him, PRACTICALLY. I can't do that alone. I can only do so much financially for him, because things aren't easy for myself financially either. But:
  18.
  19. Every single penny I make between now and Christmas Day (December 25th) will be going directly to my brother on that day. Not just money given specifically to this donation drive, but ANY money generated through my YouTube videos or streams.
  20.
  21. I really, really hope the community can come together and help me do something special for the person who has literally made me who I am today. The reason why I'm still here, the one person I can trust and lean on any time: my brother.
  22.
  23. He isn't sick (unless you count mental illness). It isn't an emergency. I just want to do something special for one of the most selfless humans on Earth, the one who's done everything for me.

  27. I will be making and hopefully releasing a YouTube video on this today, Monday December 9th. But, in the meantime, I wanted to get the word out ASAP.
  28.
  29. Please, please share this around.

  31. Thank you everyone,
