"Let's hurry back to that house."

Alise scurries after Gillian as fast as she can, "Maybe we could just give them back the jewelery and they won't be...so kill-y..."

Ismark:
You two are in the dining area. It's a pretty fancy place, but in inspecting the place out, you only find that the wall paneling is carved with elegant images of deer among the trees

Ismark:
you can also see twisted faces carved into the tree trunks and wolves lurking among the carved foilage. In the painting of course, not real life, hopefully.

Gillian:
"Oh, it's just empty words. I think, probably. Still a bit concerning, though."

Gillian:
"Dang, nothing here?"

Ismark:
"In quite a rush aren't we? Did we come across any leads up there?"

Alise:
"N-..no! Nothing whatsoever!"

Gillian:
"Uh, hello? DUNGEON. Who puts a dungeon on the top floor?"

"Good point, but I'd advise keeping an open mind in these cases."

"It is not mandatory for the dungeon to be underground, only recommended! Perhaps they eschewed the unspoken law!"

"Actually you're right, I can't really bring myself to care. Where were we at last time?"

"In that room over there." she points to the far doorway, "That's where that monster sort of...hurt you, very badly."

Gillian:
"Man, I barely even understand where we are, much less appreciate any history lesson looking at a suit of armor might give."

Tarron:
"It is no folly! There are four more armors!"

Gillian:
"Ha, you know what? She's right! Take that, history!"

Ismark:
"Hmm...I don't know why, but I detect something off about this room....but we may as well leave it behind."

While inspecting the place, you accidentally trip and fall and then push over a part of the wall that leads to a staircase upstairs.

"Eureka! You just found a secret location that absolutely nobody else has found yet at all!"

"Awawawa~" Tarron trips over a piece of the destroyed armor, thankfully her face is stronger than wall.

Alise:
"Miss Tarron, are you okay?!"

Ismark:

You head up to the attic. This bare hall is choked with dust and cobwebs.

"A few doors here it seems..."

@MT, this dust-choked room contains a slender bed, a night stand, a small iron stove, a writing desk with a stool, an empty wardrobe, and a rocking chair.

A smiling doll in a lacy yellow dress sits in the northern window box, cob-webs draping it like a wedding veil.

Alise wanders inside and glances around, "Anything around here...?"

This room contains a bricked-up window flanked by two dusty, wood-framed beds sized for children. Closer to the door is a toy chest with windmills painted on its sides and a dollhouse that's a perfect replica of the dreary edifice in which you stand. These furnishings are draped in cobwebs. Lying in the middle of the floor are two small skeletons wearing tattered but familiar clothing. The smaller of the two cradles a stuffed doll that you also recognize.

"Oh hi. Whacha doing here."

Gillian:
"Not much, yourselves? This isn't the dungeon, is it?"

Tarron:
"Ah! Helloing! How did you get to the top floor so quickly?!"

Rose:
"Oh, a dungeon? You mean the basement?"

Rose:
""What do you mean? We've always been here."

Thorn:
"We've been stuck in this attic for about centuries now. Don't try and make things up!"

Gillian:
"That's not what you said downstairs, kids - but yeah, basement. Monster-killing services, remember?"

Alise:
"Oh...well I guess there's nothing here..."
Thrice has connected.

Tarron:
"Oh? But no! We have met you! Rose and Thorn! I remember them, they are being quite unique names!

Rose:
"Oh wait; I think I know what has you confounded. I think you may have met the bizarro counterparts created by this house for the sake of luring people in. Me and Thorn here, we've been dead and up here for centuries, unable to rest properly."

Alise:
Alise gets bored of this empty room and scurries back over to her master.

Rose:
"Still, nice that you came to visit. If you need to find anything here, just go check the doll house. It's a pretty thorough map of the place."

Gillian:
"Man, you guys are a LOT more helpful than your counterparts. Thanks!"

Ismark:
"This has gotten mind-numbing..."

Gillian:
Gillian checks out the dollhouse and immediately gets his soul sucked out.

"OOoooh gosh, I just got praised for the first time in years."

"So, to think all this time, those two children outside were just puppets created by this devious house. Which I suppose means they jusr reflect the wants and desires of the house itself. I wonder what that means..."

"It... uh... wants the monster dead?"

Gillian:
"What's the monster, anyway?"

Rose:
"Oh. A long time ago we were told there was a monster making sounds here, but it turned out to be something else entirely."

Alise:
"What's going on over here?"

Tarron:
"May chance be that the story was a hoax? The house may only wish us to come here..."

Thorn:
"Yeah, something about the screams of the innocents who were sacrificed in the dungeon for the sake of some cult or something. I wasn't paying too much attention."

Gillian:
"Hey, Alise. We found the kids again! These ones are real, though, the other ones are fakers."

Gillian:
"They're pretty nice, you should say hi."

Alise:
"Wait...what...?"

Thorn:
"I mean, you can, but we tend to get attached pretty easily."

"That is adorable."

Tarron:
"Ah, but wait...innocents? There are innocents at harm in this dungeon? But how can we let this pass?"

Ismark:
"Whatever innocents there are are probably long gone, given the age of this place. At least, I've never seen anyone else enter this accursed house in my life."

Rose:
"Well, none of them visited us at least."

Alise:
"Oh...well saving dead people doesn't seem nearly as heroic..."

Gillian:
"But what about the cult, are they still here?"

Gillian:
"Heck, cult of what? Strahd?"

Alise:
"This is an awful lot to take in..."

Thorn:
"Hey, I don't know. I'm just a kid!"

"I also hear some jangling noises. That's kinda new."

"Umm, uh....I'm not sure honestly. These bones are kinda unsightly though. Are they really us?"

"I'm not sure if anything we do in this world is really going to count anyway, Alise... we'll just have to do it because it's the right thing to do!"

"We should go to that staircase."

"I'm fine either way. Perhaps the dead and forgotten like us should stay that way."

Alise:
"I believe we're supposed to die in the dungeon."

Rose:
"it doesn't matter. You'll be stuck with us no matter what anyway."

"Oh, silly childrens! The childrens of the divine do not so easily perish because of irate houses!"

"Death houses." Alise corrects.

Ismark:
"It's great to know that even the ones from the great beyond have nothing but the utmost confidence in us."

Rose:
"Come visit anytime"

Gillian:

Gillian:

Rose:
This dusty chamber is packed with old furniture (chairs, coat racks, standing mirrors, dress manequins, the like) all draped in dusty white sheets.

Alise:
"So what exactly are you looking for, master?"

Gillian:
"The dollhouse showed that there was a spiral staircase down... somewhere around here."

Gillian:
"So, keep poking things, I guess."

Rose:
Once you step in, a secret door to a staircast magically assumes itself in the corner there.

Rose:
It seems the power of dollhouses is something to respect

Alise:
"Oh. Well alright then."

Tarron:
"Secret doors are meant to be opened!"

Tarron:
tarron opens the door killing us all

Rose:
The door does in fact have stairs going down. But as you enter the stairway, you hear a familiar clank clanking sound

Animated Armor:
"GRRNNRRRRRNN!?!?!?" Looks like someones after ur ass

Ismark:
"Quick! Down the stairway!"

Gillian:
"Good idea!"

Ismark:
The wooden spiral staircase from the attic ends here. A narrow tunnel stretches southward east and west.

Alise:
"Waaaaah...the walls are so close in here..."

Tarron:
"Lucky I am so thin! I can still move easily!"

Ismark:
From the moment you arrive down into the dungeon, you can hear an eerie, incessant chant echoing throughout. It's impossible to gauge where the sound is coming from.

Alise:
"I-...I'm thin too...!"

Tarron:
"...oh...the armor, it is still coming!"

Ismark:
"We should make haste if we know what's good for us..."

Tarron:
"My thinosity seems a disadvantage against animated suits of armor..."

Ismark:
From here, you can see several crypts have been hewn from the earth.

Ismark:
Each crypt seems to be sealed with a stone slab, but they seem intended to be removed manually.

Alise:
"Hmm...I wonder what's around he-...waaaaaaaaah...!" Alise scampers back to Gillian, "Th-...there's a bunch of creepy crypts!"

Gillian:
"Down here? What the heck is going on in this place?"

Ismark:
"If I'm to hazard a guess, this is where I guess the family members here were buried? Not much of interest there."

Tarron:
"I suggest we are to make with the to hurrying! I can hear its malice..."

Gillian:
"Yeah, Tarron - you cover our back. Your magic was able to take it out pretty easily and I don't want to be in the way of that!"

Alise:
"Uwuuuh..."

Ismark:
This room contains a plain wooden table flanked by long benches.. Moldy humanoid bones lie strewn on the dirrt floor.

Tarron:
"My magic is effective against the armor, yesing! However, its fist is many factors more effective when it is thrust against my face!"

Gillian:
"Just stay calm, Alise, nothing's coming out of those crypts...."

Tarron:

"Now why in god's name would there be bones here...human bones?"

Alise:
"Yet..." she sniffles.

Gillian:
"Dunno. You live in this area, do you know anything about the cult they were talking about>:

Tarron:
"Yes! Innocents have bones as much as they have screams!"

Ismark:
"Probably something long before my time. Still, it's not hard to guess this is all perhaps the work of a cult...it's always the work of a cult that brings about onsets of curses like these...."

Gillian:
"Let's wait a bit here, now that we have some elbow room - just to make sure that armor's off our tail."

Tarron:
"I am to be running behind you, then!"

Tarron:
Tarron cowers behind Ismark I guess since Gillian ran away, peeking around his shoulder every now and again to check if the armor has punched anyone

Ismark:
"That sounds like the dumbest possible course of action. I'm not taking any chances here."

Alise:
"I think it's a great plan, master!"

Alise:
"I don't want that thing following us the whole time.."

Ismark:
"If it wasn't pursuing us, it wont pursue us. If it is pursuing us, it's better to just get away from it no matter what."

Alise:

"Many of these halls are being narrow...we cannot run past! We would be trapped!"
