So it looks like she has people actively engaging outside of events
the TLs and RLs and all those guys engaging people as friends and playing and getting to know them
So it isnt just all DI-side retention, its also a personal basis if that makes sense
She does if you play 5 total games with 3 different people its a community citation, 15 games with 10 people it's bronze, and 35 games with 20 people it's Silver
you could adjust that to fit you guys
People join DI because they don't have friends to play with
So you gotta intentionally break the ice and make bonds with people
I doubt you would have stayed if we didnt make friends right away and talk on steam, right?

In addition, a weekly fun competitive thing would be cool. The league guys host a 1v1 tournament to this effect, sometimes with an RP reward (tblade could possibly provide an ingame reward). Idk if there is a dota equivalent to a league 1v1 tournament, but it wouldnt hurt to try
