- [14:10] Uri Brienne says, "Siegfried."
- [14:10] Siegfried lei Lohengramm asks, "Uri, how can I help you?"
- [14:10] Uri Brienne says, "Just had a small thing to talk about."
- [14:10] Uri gestures for him to come closer.
- (Uri Brienne)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:10] Uri Brienne says, "C'mere."
- [14:10] Siegfried leans in.
- (Siegfried lei Lohengramm)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:11] Uri Brienne whispers: You're never going to believe this... But I've got two children of me own now... Twins at that!
- [14:11] Uri smiles lightly.
- (Uri Brienne)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:11] Siegfried lei Lohengramm whispers: I know, I saw, and was told by Vivan.
- [14:11] Siegfried lei Lohengramm whispers: After I was forced to arrest her.
- [14:12] Uri Brienne whispers: Though, for obvious reasons... I expect some trouble for them down the line... Because of my wife's reputation..
- [14:12] Uri Brienne whispers: It's natural that, she will get more enemies, due to that mouth of hers...
- [14:12] Uri Brienne whispers: Someone will put a hit on her to retaliate for a false rumor...
- [14:13] Uri Brienne says, "And when they do."
- [14:13] Uri Brienne whispers: They'll find 'er and kill' 'er....
- [14:13] Uri Brienne whispers: It's for this reason that I must ask you...
- [14:13] Siegfried lei Lohengramm whispers: Well Elizabeth had a hit put on her.
- [14:13] Siegfried lei Lohengramm whispers: And a lot of other people she owed money too.
- [14:13] Uri Brienne whispers: If Raisa refuses... If those children are in the fire...
- [14:13] Uri Brienne whispers: If I cannot protect them..
- [14:13] Uri Brienne whispers: Siegfried...
- [14:14] Uri Brienne whispers: I want you to watch over them...
- [14:14] Siegfried lei Lohengramm whispers: It's my job to watch over everyone, Uri.
- [14:15] Uri Brienne whispers: Thank you... Though I don't think Elizabeth thinks the same way anymore... She is after all... Sour for my choice in a wife... But I'd rather not have children die for the sins of a mother.
- [14:16] Uri Brienne whispers: Normally, I'd discuss a plan of action but, due to these circumstances.
- [14:16] Uri Brienne whispers: I might find myself in fire for whatever actions are aimed towards Vivian.
- [14:16] Siegfried lei Lohengramm whispers: ... I know... I know.
- [14:16] Siegfried lei Lohengramm whispers: I'll see what I can do.
- [14:16] Uri Brienne whispers: I think...
- [14:16] Uri Brienne whispers: Marie's probably laughing at me for my choice in a wife haha.
- [14:16] Siegfried lei Lohengramm whispers: Yeah....
- [14:16] Siegfried lei Lohengramm whispers: She probably is...
- [14:16] Uri Brienne whispers: I cannot blame her, or anyone else.
- [14:17] Uri Brienne whispers: My judgement was clouded by love for so long.
- [14:17] Uri Brienne whispers: I didn't see how many people she actually made angry.
- [14:18] Uri Brienne whispers: And with me being a pirate in to the rest of the world, even if I am just a noble sailor here... It'll be nothing but an easier target on my back...Framed for actions I've never done.
- [14:19] Siegfried lei Lohengramm whispers: Just take it easy.
- [14:19] Uri nods.
- (Uri Brienne)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:20] Uri Brienne whispers: How has everyone been?... Since I've been married... I never got the chance to hang out with any of you.
- [14:21] Siegfried lei Lohengramm whispers: Everyone has been fine really.
- [14:21] Siegfried lei Lohengramm whispers: Just... getting ready for another war.
- [14:21] Uri Brienne whispers: As always.
- [14:21] Siegfried lei Lohengramm whispers: I was injuired on a mission but... yeah...
- [14:22] Uri Brienne whispers: How many times, have we fought for Osrona, Siegfried?...Feels like a dozen doesn't it?
- [14:22] Siegfried lei Lohengramm whispers: ... Tell me about it...
- [14:22] Siegfried lei Lohengramm whispers: Actually... I could use your help with one of the injuires if you have the time....
- [14:22] Siegfried lei Lohengramm whispers: My fingers.... are soild ice right now...
- [14:22] Siegfried lei Lohengramm whispers: Could you melt the ice?
- [14:23] Uri Brienne whispers: Of course.
- [14:25] Uri looks over to Siegfried and the injury at hand. His fingers were probably suffering from a mild case of frostbite since he was a magi... Had he been a normal human, this would've costed him a few of those fingers, but, it was nothing Uri couldn't handle.
- He takes a deep breath, and lets out a soft exhale. Doing so with a warm breath for each one, until the heat would have melt the ice away, added with the actual embers of heat from his potent fire magic.
- (Uri Brienne)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:28] Siegfried would close his eyes as Uri used his magic to melt the ice ever present on his fingers. It was painful yet it was a feeling he enjoyed. Having not been able to use his hands correctly for a while was odd.
- "Thank you Uri." He would state while opening and closing his hands, the movement wasn't perfect but he was satisfied. "I owe you one."
- (Siegfried lei Lohengramm)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:29] Uri Brienne says, "It's the least I can do."
- [14:29] Uri Brienne says, "I'll try to visit more often."
- [14:29] Uri Brienne says, "But feel free to take a horse..."
- [14:29] Siegfried lei Lohengramm asks, "A horse?"
- [14:30] Uri Brienne says, "I brought twenty eight back from the island as a gift to Alexander."
- [14:30] Uri Brienne says, "Well, he got twenty two of them."
- [14:31] Siegfried lei Lohengramm asks, "Oh! Okay?"
- [14:31] Siegfried lei Lohengramm says, "I don't have a stable but... sure."
- [14:34] Uri Brienne exclaims, "Hehe!"
- [14:34] Uri Brienne says, "Beat Marie in a race for me."
- [14:34] Siegfried lei Lohengramm says, "Of course, I always beat Marie."
- [14:34] Siegfried lei Lohengramm asks, "Is there anything else I can do for you?"
- [14:34] Uri Brienne says, "Nothing actually. I just want for you all to get through this."
- [14:34] Uri Brienne says, "Troubling times."
- [14:34] Siegfried lei Lohengramm says, "The only thing we can do is move forward."
- [14:34] Uri nods.
- (Uri Brienne)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:34] Siegfried lei Lohengramm says, "Eventually there is a light at the end of the tunnel."
- [14:34] Uri Brienne says, "And that light we shall find."
- [14:35] Uri Brienne says, "I need to go and check on Erehn now though, and the construction of my ship."
- [14:35] Uri Brienne says, "Take care old friend."
- [14:35] Siegfried lei Lohengramm says, "Hmm, of course, you as well."
- 18:04] Uri Brienne whispers: Grandma...
- [18:06] Elora Renae Otho whispers: Uri, hello dear.
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:07] Uri Brienne whispers: Can we talk privately please?
- [18:07] Elora Renae Otho whispers: Of course
- [18:09] Leading Uri on to the newly purchased home Elora would pause at the door. Fumbling around for the key only to find it a few seconds later.
- Once inside she would lead the way over to the sitting area. Going on to take a seat as one could imagine.
- "What's going on Uri?"
- She asked, getting right to the point.
- (Elora Renae Otho)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:11] He rubs the back of his head, "Well grandma... I've been going through an AWFUL lot these past few months... I've lost friends and made several enemies, all of which was not my own doing.."
- He sighs...
- "But rather, because of Vivian... It's like, she has a knack for having people hate her without knowing it..."
- He leans back, "And now, there's word of a hit on her, and once someone discovers this... When our eyes are closed and absent of sense... They're find her and kill er'..."
- He looks to Elora from a glance, "I have arranged, for a certain royal knight to watch over the twins, case I get caught in the cross fire of actions I never done.."
- (Uri Brienne)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:17] Sitting back into her chair the elder turned just a bit. Enough so that she was now facing her grandson. While Uri went on, explaining the situation she would nod a time or two.
- Though took care to remain silent while Uri would conclude.
- "I see."
- She began with that. Those dull green hues turned from him and to the furnace. Where the fire was burning as always. Filling the house with a nice, crisp, warm apple scent.
- "My dear, what I am going to be telling you in the coming moments comes from my heart. I have only ever had the best interests of you, your cousins and your all of your parents in mind.
- From the day the Champ was born I did everything I could to ensure he had the best life."
- Pausing there the woman turned her gaze back to Uri.
- "It was a mistake for me to have let you marry that woman."
- She said straight forward. No bullshit, no beating around the bush. None of that.
- "I shouldhave urged you to seek relations with Raisa. I was blind to the natural love brewing between the two of you. I did not see it..
- I should have trusted my instincts in knowing that allowing you to rush into this relationship would cause nothing but strife."
- (Elora Renae Otho)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:22] He shakes his head as he answers. . . "I can't leave now though, not with our children still there... Now when, I still love Vivian, despite her... Rather stupid decisions as a noble, to enforce every little thing and report every little inconvenience to the higher ups..."
- He sighs.
- "I don't know what else to do but... See it through."
- He smiles a bit, "And... It's good to know that, Raisa, will never stop loving me, despite what I've put her through, despite the hell I've caused..."
- He shifts at an angle, laying on the chair.
- "If I could turn back time, I would."
- (Uri Brienne)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- 18:31] Again Elora would listen, nodding here or there. But instead of remaining silent the elder would speak upon his breaks.
- "There is another way."
- She stated at first, but would come back to that later. When he began to speak of Raisa and her still loving him, well.. she just couldn't help herself.
- "My dear, if Raisa still loves you then you're a fool to stay with Vivian. Vivian, regardless of what she may say to you or have done, like birthing your children, was not out of love."
- There was no more nice grandma Elora anymore. Uri was a man, it was time for her to talk to him like one. He wanted to talk to her so, this was it. She was going to talk to him.
- "She did it to make herself look good to the Royal family and the other Noble houses. She sought you because you're strong compared to most common magi.
- You stand out, people know your name. They seek you for things. This is why she sought you as her husband. Not out of love.
- I've been kicking myself in the arse over this for several months Uri. For a moment, a very brief moment, I thought the two of you could blossom into something special.
- Now I see that I was wrong. True love will never grow between the two of you. Not any that I can foresee."
- Pausing there, she would let that settle in his mind. It was a lot to take in, like a lot. But it was all things she felt she needed to say. That he needed to hear more so.
- But, the elder did not end there.
- "My dear, you may appear before the King and request that your marriage be annulled. Otherwise, stricken and marked from recognition.
- Your children.. unfortunately, will have the name Brienne unless they formally have it changed. I for one would be delighted to see them carry Sanctum. It's only right as it is after their father."
- Those dull green hues lifted and met his gaze. Where the held for the moment.
- (Elora Renae Otho)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:41] He rubbed his chin... Conflicted about this as he spoke over these things with his grandmother. "I understand, truly. I do, but... Even if I risk death, I..."
- He paused, turning over once more on the sofa he sat on across from her. "I am that fool... And what a fool believes, he see's... I guess what I'm saying is, I don't want to leave, because, I am afraid of the results of what will come of her when I leave..."
- He smiled ever so slightly, "Our best memories, were always at home... But, I will be honest... She has told me before, that she wanted Elizabeth dead... And with the current case of her seemingly hiring an assassin to try and kill her, it has left me confused..."
- "Because I know Erehn would never be that assassin but, the idea of Vivian hating Elizabeth to that degree is plausible..."
- He sits up at this point of such a life decision that might impact all of Osrona. "It seems, my love life has affected Osrona more times than I can count... I don't want to be a bother to Alexander either... Because Grandma... It's like I see him every day, due to Vivian dragging me along for every one of her 'reports' to tell... Right now, I'm more so worried for Esbern due to this war... He was captured by Asta's people."
- "If something ever happens to Vivian... My children will bear names foreign from the Sanctum... It's no doubt, Vivian's enemies will seek me out after her death...And find the two Brienne they missed..."
- (Uri Brienne)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:56] This time Elora had listened to Uri speak in full. Having remained silent the entire time. Only to give an encouraging nod here or there to acknowledge that she was indeed listening.
- It wasn't until Uri finished, and a few minutes after, that the woman would speak.
- "Uri, firstly, if someone were to try and come after your children they would have to get through me first. I will kill anyone who tries to fuck with my grandchildren.
- No second chances, no questions asked."
- The woman stated. Those eyes were all serious business now. As was her tone.
- "If Vivian has stated that she wanted Elizabeth dead before and was put on claims of having hired an assassin, then I undoubtedly believe it is true. That Vivian hired the assassins to kill those named.
- As for the King, I will speak to him on your behalf. You haven't say in this anymore, Uri. I am speaking to Alexander about this as soon as I can find him and make the time.
- I worry for Esbern as well. A good boy he is. Undeserving of whatever madness they can and may likely bring upon him."
- Pausing again Elora drew a breath. Only to continue on right after.
- "Your children will be safe with me dear. Right here, with me in this city. No one will come for me, nor will they come for your children.
- Your cousin, Barthalamew, when he hears word of this he's going to say only a few words. I imagine them to be something along the lines of; 'I will handle this grandmother. For you and Uri.' Then he will disappear for a few months only to return to safely assure that it has infact been taken care of."
- Standing from her chair Elora would walk over to Uri. Kneeling down beside him she would take his hands in her own gauntlet covered ones. Holding them and giving them a light squeeze.
- "I allowed these wrongs to happen. I should have urged you to pursue a relationship with Raisa instead of allowing this nonsense to build as it has."
- A series of small, reassuring, nods came as she continued.
- "I will right the wrongs committed, Uri. My own, yours and hers. It is only right as the Matriarch of our family that I restore balance.
- Until that time I ask that you please, please, consider moving back into the Otho home. You've always had a room here as all of your cousins and siblings have.
- If not you, then your two children. If Vivian wants to argue about it, well, you can tell her to take it up with me."
- Tilting her head down and lifting her hands at the same time she placed a kiss upon the back of his hnds. Going on to stand once more she would release his hands from her own and made a gesture for the door.
- "I must find the King. You are free to stay if you wish, though you do not have to."
- (Elora Renae Otho)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:08] HE pays good attention to the words of his grandmother. Nodding his head to the key points they were striking on this topic. About Vivian about the children, about Esbern'o… Uri, has been warned several times, to leave Vivian if he had any desire to live. But deep down inside, he was blind to the facts, due to his love for his wife, after a year or two together...
- It only felt like their life had just begun. Though through her actions... They just might end... Uri, however had a choice... Should he decide to stay, or leave, it was truly up to him. Not unless, the King himself had a say in this a say that would place an order upon the Sanctum, to stay away from his wife due to the issues involving certain parties.
- "I will let time handle this.. I have lost friends, and one friend of mine, Kofe, became an enemy due to his hate for my wife... He and his friend Basil despise her... And because of this conflict, I've not been able to see friends such as Marieor Alice, because every one of them, have a dislike for Vivian... But, I still love her..."
- He sighs. "Call it unhealthy... But, maybe, it's a road that requires help from others in order to find the light at the end of the tunnel..."
- He thought all about what Siegfried had said... Uri was not fickle, but a strategist who thought of his family and their best interest. Because, even he was cautious for the actions of his wife... Wondering, how much longer before she actually gets someone killed for speaking too openly and acting too much like a noble after nearly losing nobility for that very reason.
