- Day 17: Sunset Breeze
- As I walked away from the crowd cheering me on, shouting my name and encouraging words, I quickly started to run off to find where I was destined to be next. It didn't help that it was getting late, and the moonlight crept over the horizon to greet the evening.
- After running for several minutes, I found what looked to be a small hut or shack; regardless of what it really was, it called to me, as if it were telling me that it was my next destination. A bit reluctant, I approached the building.
- As I got closer, I noticed the extremely high-quality craftsmanship; the wood was a rich mahogany, and the fact that nothing seemed to be dinged up or rotting told me that this thing was built fairly recently. It took me a while to find the entrance to this octagonal shed, but as I did I noticed the inside to be nearly empty. It was too dark to really see what little there was, so I just sat in one of the corners and drifted off to sleep.
- I woke up at the crack of dawn, the sunlight from the east seeping through the open windows and curtains, rays of light hitting my eyes.
- It was around here when I was finally able to identify the objects in the room.
- The only things there were a small, circular table, with a little miniature wooden horse sitting on it. I have no clue what these were for, but I didn't want to touch them out of fear of messing something up. After all, the real thing I was missing was the open view of the outdoors the shed had.
- There was a seemingly infinite expanse of green fields, with trees of various kinds sparsely placed around them. The gentle breeze pushed the wispy clouds westward and swaying the leaves of the plants, creating fluid-like ripples in the grass in the process.
- The view was exquisite. Many of my dreams took place in a location like this: a vast expanse of nothing but grass. As I watched the soft daylight hit the environment, I couldn't do anything but admire the amazing view given to me here.
- I perhaps admired it for far too long, as I noticed the sky turn into a deep orange color, the sun saying its farewells as it moved westward to start the day on the other side of the planet.
- I thought to myself that I couldn't stay in this shed for much longer, so I decided to walk out into the field that I gazed at for an unusually long time.
