  1. [06:54] Mihalis Lovain says, "I want Asta."
  2. [06:54] Ro asks, "Who's this?"
  3. [06:54] Ro says, "Well."
  4. [06:54] Ro says, "You can't get Asta."
  5. [06:54] Ro says, "You can get Regulus righ tnow."
  6. [06:54] Mihalis Lovain says, "Ro, this is higher th..-"
  7. [06:54] Ro says, "Yes."
  8. [06:55] Ro says, "Maybe."
  9. [06:55] Mihalis Lovain says, "Ro. Slow down."
  10. [06:55] Ro says, "No."
  11. [06:55] Ro says, "Come on."
  12. [06:56] Ro asks, "Do you know tihs guy?"
  13. [06:57] Dragged.
  14.
  15. Mihalis's shadow casually held Romani within, his steps leading him deeper into Myllenoris's territory without care. Idle citizens gazed upon as he hummed to himself in clear joy.
  16.
  17. He was in a happy mood.
  18.
  19. Violet orbs beneath the mask looked around the square for a specific person, Ro's lead had him pausing in front of Regulus with a pause to his humming, the bear head tilting to the side.
  20.
  21. "This is Regulus?"
  22.
  23. A question towards Ro, bear head turning between the pair as he waited for confirmation.
  24. (Mihalis Lovain)
  25. [06:57] The Stellus is out cold.
  26. (Romani cos Montclaire)
  27. [06:57] "Yes."
  28.
  29. The eyes moved over towards Regulus as they then moved back over towards Romani with so many questions and concerns.
  30.
  31. "Lord Consort, do you know who this is?"
  32. (Ro)
  33. [07:03] The former nobleman was not often surprised, but the Stellus being dragged in by a man wearing a bear head certainly qualified. He'd previously been standing around, one particular lemming-like spirit slowly climbing up his side, drawn by the spectral thread his cloak was made of, but as it reached his shoulder and perched atop it this had appeared, and...admittedly he wasn't sure how to react for a moment.
  34.
  35. Still, he shook himself from his shock quick, eyes flickering to Mihalis first. Calculating, surprised expression returning to impassive.
  36.
  37. "This is indeed Regulus," he confirmed, "But I daresay I'm unsure of your identity."
  38.
  39. He'd been made aware of a rough description of Mihalis in the past, but his facial features obscured as they were he'd not made the connection. Eyes momentarily shifting over to Ro, he nodded.
  40.
  41. "That is Romani cos Montclaire, who I hear is current Stellus of the Church of Celestialism."
  42.
  43. His attention returned to bear-man.
  44.
  45. "Wherever did you find him?"
  46. (Regulus orn Grimmore)
  47. [07:07] "Oh..?"
  48.
  49. A short exclaim left his lips, he didn't expect for his identity to be not known, a quiet grumble sounding out as a hand rose to finally remove the bear head away from his head. The twin scars that cornered his mouth, and the burn marks along the left side of his face revealed.
  50.
  51. "Mihalis Lovain, most wanted in Osrona apparently. Myllenoris too perhaps."
  52.
  53. Carefree, a confident smile crawled upon his lips as he casually adjusted his position, gaze turning to look across the surroundings before finally pausing on Regulus.
  54.
  55. More words to be spoken.
  56.
  57. "Stellus indeed, a terrifying foe truth be told. Alas, I had an edge, and here we are. He was hunting people from Myllenoris, and ended up stumbling upon me."
  58.
  59. A pause to allow information to sink in, before he continued to speak.
  60.
  61. "Me, in my benevolence decided to prevent any further harm coming upon the people of Myllenoris. I have friends here remember, Young Ro, The Rabbit, plenty of friends.."
  62.
  63. "Unfortunately an encounter with a over zealous Greycloak led to our relations taking a turn for the worse."
  64. (Mihalis Lovain)
  65. [07:14] As the bear head was removed, so came recognition. Ah. He saw no need to interrupt introductions, or the occultist's words at all, frankly. As he completed them, however, the former nobleman nodded.
  66.
  67. "I've heard of you, yes. I believe you killed Yani as well as Thadria. I didn't know either very well, but its stirred up sympathies against you. You've turned the latter's sister into a raging drunk, the former's partner into a...lethargic mess, by all accounts."
  68.
  69. This man, in fact, had a capture and kill on sight order upon him. That he brought the Stellus was the only reason he'd not been mobbed. Regulus' eyes narrowed slightly, although there was nothing hostile there. More...increased curiosity.
  70.
  71. "Friends in common, then. Kalina is...a spirited one, I'd say. Still, my adherence to the very faith the Stellus here leads demands I have you killed for your magics..."
  72.
  73. A slight smirk quirked at his lips.
  74.
  75. "But my time in Myllenoris has given me a greater respect for the balance of things, and given the Church's complete apparent willingness to support a tyrant over something as foolish as his entire family's 'divine right' when the war is to replace him with a cousin...well, I've been considering full conversion a while now."
  76.
  77. "Why are you here, Mr Lovain?"
  78. (Regulus orn Grimmore)
  79. [07:23] Mihalis deeply inhaled, it had been awhile since he had truly got rid of the mask, his head shook to the side to allow blueish hair to freely flow as he turned violet orbs back onto Regulus.
  80.
  81. "She wouldn't leave me alone unfortunately, constantly trying to arrest me. And then she went and attacked my cousin and left a lasting scar along her face."
  82.
  83. Memories he didn't wish to recall, a frown overtook his smiling visage for a moment before a snort wiped it away. The woman was dead, and revenge had already been struck against the meddler.
  84.
  85. "Good, good. I would hate to have to fight my way out, it'd be such a hassle. I am glad you've been given the chance to think on matters easier then, saves me a lot of trouble."
  86.
  87. Blueish locks flowed as he nodded in agreement.
  88.
  89. "I am here for a simple reason. I don't want Myllenoris hunting me anymore because one of your people tried to kill me multiple times, well, arrest me. The killing would of come after probably."
  90.
  91. "She attacked me first, kept chasing me. So let's strike a bargain, I've already given you one acolyte. The annoying pink-haired one, and now I bring you the Stellus."
  92.
  93. Mihalis's smile only further grew, head tilting to the side as a gleam flickered across his gaze.
  94.
  95. "Sounds fun, right?"
  96. (Mihalis Lovain)
  97. [07:25] Tieru peers over. What a thing to wake up to...
  98. (Tieru Avlee)
  99. [07:31] It is difficult to wake up once knocked out. The blue and gold eyes had remained shut for a while, dragged across the field of battle until finally they opened. His breath is difficult to take in, those cracked ribs as his hand instantly moved up to hold his side. Holy magic would dull the pain for a few moments, before glancing around.
  100.
  101. Myllenoris. Location first, then his eyes glanced towards the people around. Mihalis, then Regulus, Cetta, who he would give a small nod of acknowledgement towards, Khione, who's face he slightly recognized from Orsona, then finally glancing back towards Regulus.
  102.
  103. For a few seconds, he gathers himself.
  104.
  105. "Do not sacrifice Ophelia. I do not want my wife to die."
  106.
  107. The only thing he could think to say in the moment.
  108. (Romani cos Montclaire)
  109. [07:33] Ro simply blinks at the idea of sacraificing Ophelia to anything, what.
  110.
  111. "The Vale doesn't do human sacrifices. That was in the old days of Moonfall. These days, we simply give up something 'personal' to appease spirits."
  112.
  113. The wrist moved forward and backwards as the snap of meditation came across.
  114.
  115. "Perhaps of you star lovers asked about our culture, you'd know..."
  116.
  117. "Don't know where anyone would get the idea..."
  118. (Ro)
  119. [07:33] Grey eyes met Mihalis' violet.
  120.
  121. "I was not and am not aware of Thadria's actions prior to her death, so I've no measure to verify your statements. Still, that you freely walked into Myllenoris, and now offer the Stellus, suggests you're either being honest, or trying to bribe your way out of a death squad seeking you."
  122.
  123. In truth, they hardly were prepared to do so, especially given the man's apparent lethality. They needed everyone for the war.
  124.
  125. "I cannot call off your warrant, that power is held only by my wife. However...you brought us the Stellus. I don't make a habit of betraying people who do services for me, unasked for or otherwise." A brief downturn of the lips. Alexander's actions still stung, even now. Still, Regulus was consummately a diplomat, and bargains were his business.
  126.
  127. "I'll pass you a collar to restrain the Stellus, take him into Myllenoris' charge, and you may leave free of any attempts to stop you. If you'd be so kind as to provide an account of the circumstances of Thadria's alleged harassment of your person, I'll pass it along to my wife. I cannot promise an end to hunting you, but I'll vow to advocate for you fairly. Frankly, so long as you're not hunting Myllenorans, you're not our concern."
  128.
  129. Once Mihalis' agreement was secured -assuming it was- he'd pass over the collar. His eyes flickered to Romani a moment later.
  130.
  131. "What on Eternia are you talking about, Stellus?"
  132. (Regulus orn Grimmore)
  133. [07:34] Cetta sighed, he stood as a large man currently, so it might not be immediately recognizable to most who he is.
  134.
  135. Romani got caught.. and that means Cetta will have to make yet ANOTHER trip into Osrona to point out to whoever takes over for him that Nebula may be a witch, present her evidence, and have them start looking into her. It's all rather annoying to her.
  136.
  137. If Cetta got the chance, it would end with a dead queen, but Nebula is a coward and won't meet with an old friend who knows too much.
  138.
  139. "It won't be easy to get people to abandon their hatred of the acts you've already completed, such as Thadria, she had a lot of supporters."
  140.
  141. There's a shrug. "We could do the usual 'you don't attack us we don't attack you.' scenario but in the end, people walk their own paths."
  142.
  143. Cetta began to tap his chin. "Can't say that Romani there is a bargaining chip.. at least for me, he may be for others though.."
  144.
  145. Romani was someone working towards Cetta's goal, working on getting rid of Nebula and Alex. She had an idea though.
  146.
  147. "If you were to grab say.. Alexander or Nebula though? There'd be no doubt about things. If you brought a captured Alexander or captured Nebula and marched in here and said you want to trade them for Myllenoris leaving you alone, I think that that is very much so, something Asta could agree to."
  148.
  149. Cetta is one that is less inclined towards an all out war with OSrona, and is a believer that just getting Nebula could be a means to end the war. In her mind, Nebula fully controls Alex with her abilities, and if she were to die, he'd be freed of her control.
  150. (Cetta Amor)
  151. [07:37] Try as he might, the attention of Tieru is never on Mihalis.
  152.
  153. The Stellus' infernal radiance captures the attention of the Teraphim far more, his arms folded and his lips tight.
  154.
  155. So many Stellus', had it not been another just some time ago?
  156.
  157. Amber eyes flicker to the Lord Consort, a deep breath escaping his lips.
  158.
  159. "We cannot..." Tieru pauses. Were it Lady Asta, there would be no doubt nor question, but Lord Grimmore was still but human. "...possibly think to simply keep him alive, can we? I understand the plea to await the High Lady but..."
  160.
  161. A gesture towards Romani Cos Montclaire.
  162.
  163. "Surely we can all understand why this cannot be allowed to walk?"
  164. (Tieru Avlee)
  165. [07:38] A hand rose to catch the cough that left his lips.
  166.
  167. "That was my words, apologies. Used as bait to draw out someone from within the city, and it worked."
  168.
  169. Mihalis's head bopped along, thumb jerking towards Romani. It had indeed worked, his courier would have to be paid extra for giving away the information he had sent.
  170.
  171. A hum to follow, contemplating Regulus's request as a hand extended outwards for any collar that was offered, it would be useful either way, idly played within his hand.
  172.
  173. Cetta's words caught within his ears.
  174.
  175. "He's definitely useful. A member of the triumvirate. Plenty of power within that, you can get the whole Faith to stand down."
  176.
  177. Shoulders rolled into a shrug as he continued to fiddle with the collar, a smirk never leaving his lips as he stared towards Regulus, the more important person to deal with within the group.
  178.
  179. A man that could sell him snake oil with ease.
  180.
  181. "Can I get that in writing? All official, yeah? I can pass along my account of Thadria's harassment of me all because of the magic I wield."
  182. (Mihalis Lovain)
  183.
  184. [07:40] Ro looks tiredly towards Tieru as they would respond in such a way. A hand dismissing the notion as their voice soon carried over to answer them just like the High Lady would.
  185.
  186. "They're not a knight."
  187.
  188. "We have orders that those who are within the Celestial Church and Diplomats are to be kept alive, mostly unharmed if we could allow it."
  189.
  190. As much as it would be to kill them, the orders were there and justified. Asta had the respect of a few people in there, and seeing that this one was just trying to get their wife back, it made sense.
  191.
  192. However, that wasn't going to happen.
  193.
  194. "Why couldn't you be a knight? That way we could weaken the forces and capture the monsters that are in your walls..." a groan.
  195. (Ro)
  196. [07:41] The Stellus is still regaining his breath, before glancing to the side towards Ro as they said that the Vale did not do human sacrifices. A small frown was followed by this as he heard the reaction of Regulus. A pause.
  197.
  198. "Del insisted that Edelaide Astaret was going to be used for human sacrifice to appease the spirits in Myllenoris, but chose to die on her feet. After that, I received word that my wife was captured by Myllenoris, so I traveled to see if I could find any Teraphim far from this city."
  199.
  200. "The messenger said they were 'intended to be utilized as Human sacrifices before the war.. a gift to their spirits, empowering their troops'." Romani would explain, not breaking his eye contact with Regulus as he spoke.
  201.
  202. "It was said by the messenger who entered directly into the King's castle and informed us both. I left straight away, and now find myself here. So if I can speak for any of the captured, I intended to do my best to stop them from used in human sacrifice."
  203.
  204. Romani does pause, now glancing ever slightly around towards all those around. "But, if they really are not being used,"
  205.
  206. "First, there are some bad messengers going to Orsona, second, it appears that Del's information has been outright wrong." He does not yet comment on his own situation, nor on the collar which may be placed around his neck momentarily.
  207. (Romani cos Montclaire)
  208. [07:44] Ro says, "... Edelaide, my teacher, fought a battle against Sythaeryn in a Spirits WItness -- where are you hearing such a thing? They are similar to an honor duel here, and we respect it. She wasn't used for any... sacrafice. It is what you humans call... Propganda."
  209. [07:44] Romani cos Montclaire says, "Del said such, as well as made the church's most recent proclaimation."
  210. [07:45] Ro asks, "... The same Del that I slapped a crystal in for rushing at me? The same Del who called my religion 'evil'? Is that the people we listen to now adays...?"
  211. [07:49] Romani cos Montclaire says, "They did proclaim your religion to be evil, and if you all were sacrificing people to spirits, I would not disagree they are different from demons. However, if what you say is true, then it does not seem as evil as I was told."
  212. [07:49] His eyes turned to Cetta, a hint of annoyance in them. While she might currently have been a man, there were enough common factors -including clothing- that it was an easy assumption to make.
  213.
  214. "Cetta, I respect your contribution to this Kingdom and your friendship with Amalia, but right now, you are a Greycloak. If I desire your words on this, I will request them, yes?"
  215.
  216. He wasn't seeking to offend her, but there was a chain of command to follow. Speaking of which, he turned his attention to Tieru, offering a nod. "Stellus Montclaire will be an honoured guest, for now, albeit one unable to leave. As a member of the Triumvirate he is a valuable captive. I understand I am but the Consort of Lady Asta, but as a Teraphim yourself I know you understand the bond, and as such in her absence I speak according to her intent. We do not kill captive, so long as they remain in line and do not force our hand."
  217.
  218. His attention finally returned to Mihalis, a small nod following.
  219.
  220. "In writing? Certainly. Allow me to find a piece of paper..."
  221.
  222. He started to pat his pockets, searching for a scrap. The Lemming-like spirit decided to climb atop his head from his shoulder, though the human seemed unbothered by it.
  223.
  224. "We do not sacrifice people to the spirits....outside of very specific circumstances, circumstances said captives do not meet the criteria for. Asta's demand at Starfall was a scare tactic, albeit one that could have perhaps been better omitted. And apologies, Stellus, but I find it a little difficult to believe that declaring Aschea, a child of a divine spirit, akin to a demon of all things wasn't just another way to justify this damned war."
  225.
  226. Paper was acquired a moment later, and he began to write.
  227. (Regulus orn Grimmore)
  228. [07:50] Cetta scratched the side of his head. He never really understood Edelaide, someone who just ran around claiming to be stronger than Sytharaen, without ever having proof of defeating him.
  229.
  230. The mention of Ophelia being captured just makes Cetta think that someone is toying with Romani. Cetta has seen Ophelia wander around here numerous times, she much like Cetta is a diplomat. One who is in very little danger within Myllenoris' walls as it keeps an open line of communication between the warring nations which at times is quite vital.
  231.
  232. A messenger, marching straight into the king's castle, informing Alexander of things while roaming around Myllenoris? That's Cetta's job. Cetta knows the proper way to shift information around so that it sounds useful, but is ultimately worthless news, while gaining information from Alex.
  233.
  234. Large arms fold across Cetta's chest as he begins to go over the different messengers that roam through the area. Arch is a friend, the only other Cetta is aware of, is Mariaan, who of course would want to spread misinformation as she works for Nebula.
  235.
  236. The mention of Romani being a member of the triumvirate wasn't news to him, but overall the triumvirate is less important than people realize. It consists of Alex, who is controlled by Nebula, an empty figure head known as the lightbringer, and then Romani, someone who just got shoved into the position who is still trying to learn all of the facts.
  237.
  238. His eyes turn over to Regulus as he nods.
  239. (Cetta Amor)
  240. [07:54] A collar and a remote, a nod of gratitude sent towards Regulus as he turned onto Romani, the items casually thumbed as he hummed in thought, before nodding to himself.
  241.
  242. "Well then."
  243.
  244. "Let's get this over with."
  245.
  246. Mihalis turned towards Romani, head tilting to the side to allow blueish locks to take over his visage, a hint of question within his gaze as he reached forward to unabashedly lock the collar in place.
  247.
  248. And if there was a struggle? His magic would once again look to siphon Romani's own, that usual flood of holy magic that caused such disgust ignored.
  249.
  250. "Perfect, I'll get to writing myself when you are done. Plenty to write about when it comes to Thadria."
  251.
  252. It seemed misunderstandings would finally be cleared up, and perhaps he wouldn't have to worry about slaughtering those that continued to pester him when he went about his day.
  253.
  254. His smile could only growslightly further.
  255. (Mihalis Lovain)
  256. [07:54] The Teraphim's tongue is bitten so hard it nearly draws blood.
  257.
  258. Narrowed eyes fall upon the Stellus, Tieru's right hand flexing itself as an effort to spend some excess energy from the ordeal. Try as he might to reject it, Lord Regulus' word was second to the High Lady's--a distant second, but second all the same.
  259.
  260. "...We must not forget," Speaks the ebony-skinned occultist as he leans back against the stone pillar, "That prisoners are not entitled to their wares and arms. Lest they try and break from our High Lady's infinite generosity."
  261.
  262. How he so wished she had infinitely less.
  263. (Tieru Avlee)
  264. [07:55] Mihalis Lovain says, "You plan on cutting his arms off? His body is his weapon."
  265. [07:55] Tieru glances to Regulus, hopefully!
  266. (Tieru Avlee)
  267. [07:55] Regulus orn Grimmore says, "Perhaps it won't come to that."
  268. [07:55] Tieru sad.
  269. (Tieru Avlee)
  270. [07:55] Cetta Amor says, "We do not maim our prisoners without good reason."
  271. [07:55] "In the past when the Elysium Coven was in control, human sacrifices were a many, I learned this in my studies in the Vale that was also authorized by High Lady Asta."
  272.
  273. "These were troubling times, so when we hear that our ways are evil, and that her will is corrupt, I will react as accordingly, for without her, Osrona wouldn't have been able to win the war all those years ago."
  274.
  275. A single hand moved down to the side as they turned to face the Lord Consort, eyes going to a close as they bowed towards them. "Perhaps we should do this in a more suitable, private scene?"
  276.
  277. "To learn more of our ways?"
  278.
  279. That was always a plus, and it was always 'right' to learn more about Aschea and everything that could've been involved. With that being said, everything seemed to start going smoothly.
  280.
  281. However, it was only important that this honored guest gets a simple way.
  282.
  283. "Just to clear upthe basics, and in addendum to Lord Regulus; we do not do human sacrifices unless it is truly, a thousand percent, needed, but that is -never- needed. Never, ever to come through."
  284.
  285. "Lady Asta's demands, was just that, for a scar tactic, and it worked, so she said. Aschea's will isn't to take the life of innocents, it made little sense."
  286.
  287. "That said, Lord Regulus, perhaps some tea for our 'guest', perhaps food...?"
  288.
  289. Who knows how long they were dragged by a stinky occultist.
  290. (Ro)
  291. [08:03] The Stellus is not truly in a position to make demands, but ever the same he does still glance around in silence for a few moments. An 'honored guest' does ever bring a small chuckle from the Stellus. "I do believe that is how Periclies phrased the people we wished to rehabilitate too." All the same, his eyes opened, and he would look towards Regulus.
  292.
  293. "I want to see Ophelia. I heard she was here. I want to know she is safe. I want to see the people who were captured, and I want to know that all of them are safe. I would like to trust you, but with what I heard from Asta at Starfall, and the claims I have heard made?"
  294.
  295. "I would want to see it with my own eyes. And again, the declaration of what Aschea is was not from my lips, but from the Arch Priest Del's before I gave permission. They are very vehement with their beliefs."
  296.
  297. The collar is placed towards Romani, and Romani isn't exactly able to refuse such. His body was still exhausted from the recent struggle, so as much as he shot daggers towards the occultist, he simply did not have the power to resist.
  298.
  299. "You still have a chance to give up occultism, Mihalis, if you begin to stop walking in the dark." All the Stellus would say before glancing forwards anew.
  300.
  301. "You are welcome to search me for valuables. You will find a rage potion, leather, pork, a fire crystal, a torch, and all my clothing. I would ask I be allowed to keep my clothes, if I might. But I am indeed completely unarmed."
  302.
  303. A glance is then sent towards Ro. "Again, I wish to see it with my own eyes. If there are no human sacrifices by the end of the war, I will see it cleared up that the religion is not an evil one. I want to confirm it through actions that I can witness."
  304. (Romani cos Montclaire)
  305. [08:06] Ro says, ".."
  306. [08:06] Ro says, "."
  307. [08:06] Ro says, "T-"
  308. [08:06] Ro asks, "Tieru?"
  309. [08:09] "Naturally."
  310.
  311. The disgraced nobleman completed penning his assurance, offering it to Mihalis to review.
  312.
  313. "Should that be to your agreement, pass it back and I'll mark it with my signet, so that it might be verified as authentic. As I said, I cannot stop anyone hunting you, but this will at least assure your safe passage should you be captured by Myllenoris."
  314.
  315. He'd written it in good faith, so hopefully it'd be accepted as such.
  316.
  317. He nods toward Tieru. "Fair, but with the collar he should be restrained for now." He could understand the enmity, but now was not the time for it. Well, not the time for it to be properly expressed through violence, at least.
  318.
  319. Cetta was granted a short nod and the single word, "Later.", before he turned his attention back to Romani.
  320.
  321. "I am not aware of Ophelia's presence, if she is indeed here. If it happens she too has been captured? Well, while I'd regret any harm that comes to her, as I do you, better you both be out of the way of harm. As for the rest..."
  322.
  323. He glanced around at the increased watching.
  324.
  325. "I believe we might benefit from a more private setting. Mr Lovain, Greycloak Ro, Tieru, if you'd be so kind as to accompany me to the tower proper? Lady Asta is meditating, but it'd serve as a better setting."
  326. (Regulus orn Grimmore)
  327. [08:10] Cetta Amor says, "I've not heard of her being captured either."
  328. [08:10] Ro says, "I saw."
  329. [08:10] Ro says, "Sythaeryn took them."
  330. [08:11] Regulus orn Grimmore says, "Then we'll enquire as soon as is practical."
  331. [08:11] Cetta nods.
  332. (Cetta Amor)
  333. [08:11] Romani cos Montclaire says, "Thank you."
  334. [08:11] Regulus orn Grimmore says, "Rest assured, Stellus, so long as it is possible I'll not allow harm to come to my old student."
  335. [08:13] Sythaeryn always was up to some shit, wasn't he? Not even a glimmer of surprise passes by him as he hear that Ophelia was, in fact, captured.
  336.
  337. "Of course, Lord Grimmore."
  338.
  339. His head dips gently out of respect before following in turn at the behest of Regulus, his tongue otherwise firmly secured between his teeth.
  340.
  341. Even if there was more to say, it wasn't upon him to undermine Regulus in a public setting.
  342.
  343. For all the wicked deeds he would have done to the Celestial church so long this war went on, etiquette and protocol would always remain the foremost thought upon Tieru's mind.
  344. (Tieru Avlee)
  345. [08:13] Cetta Amor says, "Please have an enjoyable meeting everyone, we'll probably sit down later Mihalis if we bump into one another."
  346. [08:13] Mihalis Lovain says, "Indeed, indeed. You can be a witness."
  347. [08:13] Mihalis Lovain says, "To how Thadria assaulted me within the desert."
  348. [08:16] Conversations that he truly had no interest in, nothing for him to gain when it came to their words, no. As the collar locked around Romani's neck he merely smiled, a wink thrown towards the Stellus when it fastened around his throat.
  349.
  350. The remote thumbed within a grip, it was rather empowering to wield.
  351.
  352. "I am sure they'll let you see her."
  353.
  354. He didn't truly care if they did, an amused snort leaving his nose at the words of Romani. It was admirable in a way, that he continued to persist when it came to exorcising the occult within Mihalis.
  355.
  356. "Again, this is me. The occult is merely a part of myself now, I have no interest in giving it up Romani. I do not see the light behind me, only darkness. And so I shall continue walking forward.."
  357.
  358. It had been working so far.
  359.
  360. And then towards Regulus, the pair were the only two he wished to converse with. The only two that can actually give him what he wished to achieve.
  361.
  362. Violet orbs scanned across the written text, a hum of appreciation leaving his lips, before a nod followed.
  363.
  364. "This is perfect. At least it'll give me the chance to actually clear my name, well written. Perfect, perfect. And yes, Ro over there said that Sythaeryn had captured Ophelia, I guess the pair will be meeting one another soon."
  365.
  366. The paper was casually handed over towards Regulus, extended outwards as he scanned the growing crowd. People had flocked fast it seemed, unfamiliar faces scanned as he held onto his bear head with one hand.
  367.
  368. "Of course, let's move else where."
  369.
  370. Urlen was mainly ignored, he didn't have anything that the Lovain could benefit from, an amused smile remained fastened to his lips as he paused on the man's face, before finally turning onto Regulus.
  371.
  372. "Lead the way."
  373. (Mihalis Lovain)
  374. [08:17] Regulus orn Grimmore says, "...if you must."
  375. [08:17] Cetta Amor exclaims, "See you later Miha!"
  376. [08:23] He strode towards the tower, the rest following, leading them into the audience chamber. The door was locked behind them; he'd rather no interruptions for this, nor anyone getting the wrong idea. Returning to the room proper, he began to move towards the dais.
  377.
  378. Surely he wasn't going to seat him on Asta's cushion? No, instead he sat upon the steps, as he'd taken to doing during meetings. He was Asta's advisor, not her equal -when it came to authority, at least.
  379.
  380. He first flickered eyes over to Urlen.
  381.
  382. "You are here to listen. If you speak out of turn, you will leave. If you attempt to attack Mr Lovain, you will be restrained, as he is currently our guest and unlike King Alexander, we keep to our word regarding hospitality. I trust I'm understood."
  383.
  384. That said, he gestured towards Mihalis. "You may begin, as you so wish. Oh, and if you'd be so kind as to hand over the remote..."
  385.
  386. In themeantime, he produced a stick of wax, tapped a rune to heat it, than affixed his seal to the assurance.
  387. (Regulus orn Grimmore)
  388. [08:33] Towards a more suitable setting, one that could lead to him so easily being surrounded within Myllenoris, it was rather thrilling to think about, if not worrying.
  389.
  390. His first time truly delving deeper into the settlement.
  391.
  392. "Such a beautiful place indeed."
  393.
  394. Eyes roamed, the sight taken in as he instantly headed towards a cushion to claim for himself, a slight shift of his form to get more comfortable as he listened to Regulus's words.
  395.
  396. Urlen definitely had been spotted out as a potential attacker already by the Lovain.
  397.
  398. "The remote, right."
  399.
  400. Thumbed again, casually twirled for a moment before he offered it out towards Regulus if he was to return towards the cushions after he properly left his mark on the paper.
  401.
  402. His free-hand reaching out for the letter in exchange.
  403.
  404. "Well then, let me begin with. I don't actually quite remember why Thadria consistently tried to arrest me. You allseem fine with occult magic after all!"
  405.
  406. "First was in Myllenoris where my cousin led me into, I was half asleep you see, and I wake up to her confronting us, my occult magic was admittedly so easily felt and she decided to apprehend us for being 'filth'."
  407.
  408. Something he was gradually getting use to being called, a chuckle loosely leaving his lips as he paused for a moment, before further speaking into the room.
  409.
  410. "My cousin and I of course refused to be apprehended, occultists are rather despised after all, and so my poor cousin fought back and was permanently marked. We were much weaker back then, this woman with her gigantic sword was a truly terrifying foe."
  411.
  412. Luckily Violet had sapped energy from her, otherwise he too would of tasted defeat.
  413.
  414. "Perhaps it was my rage, my raw emotion that led to me clutching a victory against the woman, defeated we fled away from the scene and put it behind us, thinking nothing of it."
  415.
  416. "Another person who despised us occultists.."
  417.
  418. Alas, it didn't end there. Violet orbs scanned across faces as he spoke further.
  419.
  420. "I was roaming around Illburg's sands, I was recently speaking to Pariah about matters, or one of the other Clan heads, Dornar or Basten. And I stumbled upon a girl killing off some of the monsters."
  421.
  422. "We started to speak, perhaps it was because of my flex of magic, but Thadria arrived and believed I was robbing her, which admittedly I do have a reputation of doing.."
  423.
  424. Something he probably should cut back on, but the thrill always got to him, a tap against his thigh followed as he thought for a moment, tried to recall the scene that took place.
  425.
  426. "As if she was given words from another being, she instantly struck out against me. A fight that I almost lost, her skill with the sword had only grown, and I will confess I lost myself within the feelings of hatred that had festered after she had ruthlessly harmed my cousin."
  427.
  428. "And so as she was defeated, I took her life. Ophelia, the one who was recently captured tried to stop me, but I was too lost within that feeling"
  429. (Mihalis Lovain)
  430. [08:42] A slow nod followed, the remote accepted and paper handed back in turn.
  431.
  432. "Yes, Myllenoris is indeed a place of beauty. That is one thing, I believe, all who visit can agree upon."
  433.
  434. He listens to the Occultist's tale in silence, waiting for it to conclude before commenting himself.
  435.
  436. "I see. There is the incorrect belief by many in Myllenoris than occultism is banned. And perhaps they may be forgiven for this, given until Alexander broke the treaty it was. However, the Teraphim believe in the balance. Whilst occultism is not encouraged, nor likely to be seen positively, it is not banned. No, what the Teraphim hold anathema is Witchcraft and the higher dark arts, those which are mountain to occult's pebble in the balance of the world."
  437.
  438. A relatively accurate explanation from what he'd been instructed in.
  439.
  440. "Still, people have their individual preferences and what not. And, of course, if an occultist cannot manage the mental effects of using such magic, actions must be taken. But then, its due to the danger they pose, rather than their magical inclinations."
  441.
  442. He'd no doubt Romani might think less of him for coming to agree with such a belief system, but...well, Regulus didn't really care. His faith was his own.
  443.
  444. "If Thadria hunted you in absence of any crime, I see there an argument for self defense, especially if she'd wounded one of your family members in the past." Yani was a different subject, of course, but then Myllenoris was not obligated to imprison Theria's criminals. Not yet, at least.
  445. (Regulus orn Grimmore)
  446. [08:47] With the mention of occultism from the Lord Consort does Tieru's hand raise, a flicker of dark mana escaping his grasp like tiny wisps of darkness.
  447.
  448. Something keenly familiar to Mihalis; Occult.
  449.
  450. As Regulus' voice dims, so too does Tieru's pipe up.
  451.
  452. "Thadria," Begins Tieru as his gaze shifts towards the Stellus. "Acted first and thought later. It is not beyond reason that she would lash out upon seeing another fallen 'friend' of hers or a 'wicked' magic.
  453.
  454. Lord Regulus Grimmore, I apologize as I hate to put you on the spot. We are not here to dictate whether or not Thadria's death was just or not. This is not a trial and he has your assurances to walk already, so let us be very keen on the matter of this."
  455.
  456. The only break of his attention upon the Stellus is to glance for but a moment upon Urlen, the one who may react most viciously to the following words.
  457.
  458. "We're here to determine if his story is spun well enough to allow us to absolve Mihalis of Thadria's death in light of the capture he has provided. It's a low bar, and one we're actively seeking. If she struck first..."
  459.
  460. Tieru's head rolls back and forth, lightly pondering. "You're correct, self-defense. Graycloak or no, if Thadria brought first blood then the spirit's dictated the result. This ignore's Theria's concerns, but..."
  461.
  462. The darkened Teraphim waves his hand lightly, as if entirely casting aside the opinions of a whole vast land of people.
  463.
  464. He wouldn't outwardly say he didn't care of Theria in front of Osrona's Stellus.
  465.
  466. "...Thadria, ultimately, wasn't a Teraphim. A Gray-cloak, but still human.
  467.
  468. The question is now: How much is this Stellus worth?"
  469. (Tieru Avlee)
  470. [08:47] A frown does settle upon the face of the Stellus as Regulus speaks of allowing the dark magic. All the same? That fatigue begins to once more roll upon Romani's person. His eyes begin to close, and with the previous words that he would be reunited with Ophelia in the future, and that there was no human sacrifices?
  471.
  472. All at once, sleepness nights of worrying about others hit him, and the Stellus slumps forwards onto the table.
  473.
  474. Out like a light, unless someone wakes him.
