  1. My name is Beywyn I am from the town of Summerbury where I was the local healer for livestock and other animals. Growing up in Summerbury I always preferred to spend my time out of the town, often in the country side watching the herds of sheet graze, and wandering through the forest mingling with all the little critters. Nature has always been my calling, and through my love of nature is where I found my second calling healing. About when I was 5 or 6 years of age, out in the woods of Summerbury my elder sister Ceiwyn and I would often go out and play. One day we came across a blue jay that had broken its wing. We took it home to our father, Gleofred, who suggested we put it out of its misery. Ceiwyn agreed with father, but I protested, and took it into my care. Though the jay was never able to fly again, I managed to keep it alive and pain free, and kept it as a pet for the next few years. I spent time out in the woods helping other creatures that had come to harm. Eventually I got good at it. When I was not in the woods I was tending the flock, keeping an eye that the sheep didn’t stray off. Helping them when they became injured, aiding in births and so on.
  2. It was about my 13th year when I found my self more and more devoted to nature, and my craft, I found my self following the teachings of a roaming elven druid. Aimon was his name. He introduced me to the mystic arts and the life of a druid. Through him I learned to read and write druidic, conjure spells, and eventually the fey spirits. By the time I was 16 I had become the local healer for animals and livestock. I would have also been a healer for people, though the town had banned women from healing men. Citing it as indecent. Which did not phase me that much. I liked animals more. Occasionally I would find my self stitching up a bandit, or some other ruffian who was trying to avoid the law. I see no reason I would not help others. Though I would charge them a lot extra in order to keep my prices low when it came to healing animals. Through this I got very good at telling what people wanted, or could afford, and persuading them to do so.
  3. When I was not healing, I was spending time in the woods. The mayor of Summerbury named me “Warden of the Woods” entrusting me to keep balance of the forest. I typically roamed the forest in the shape of a jay, like the one I had so many years prior. Though I loved Summerbury, I always yearned to see the world. I heard tales from traders of continents full of jungles, vast expanses of sand, and large oceans that stretch the world. I never had the courage or desire to leave until recently.
  4. Ceiwyn was always the more out going of the two of us. Though when she was about 18, I my self 15, and married her husband Fulmar she began to lose control of her legs. She was able to fight it for a time, and even gave birth to my nephew Aldor when she was 19. The Clerics and preists tried every thing they could to heal her. Even Aimon was at a loss saying he had only seen this disease a few times in his life, and he heard legends of a plant called Root of Aesnier that could cure such a disease. But it only was found on the grave of a dragon or some other powerful being. Just a fairy tale like the seasons the clerics and priests mocked. She finally succumbed to her illness by the time she was 24. By the end she was unable to move her head. She made me promise to take care of Aldor and to be like a mother to him. Which I did until he was 7 years of age, and he fell. His control of his legs starting to fail. I left Aldor and Fulmar, with my parents back in Summerbury. I am going to find the Root of Aesnier.
  5. So I set out looking for this root that may not exist to heal a child I love for my sister. I write home, and send gifts when I can. Though I haven’t in a few months. About a year into my expedition I found the ship I was on captured by pirates. They took other prisoners, but gave me some freedom allowing me to heal. Though after I had a pack of wolves try and break me out they locked me up. Bound and Gagged unable to speak my spells nor talk my way out of it. Here I am now 24, in a cage in the middle of the desert with a bunch of unsavory types. I wondered how I would get out, but thankfully the fires started.
