  15. @ChuckWagon
  16. At this time, I don't know what the right thing is or the wrong thing is. I only know it's deadly serious and we need to pray for our leaders.

  20. Are you talking about Syria?
  21. Donald Trump is not fit to be president and we should predict bad decisions from him when confronted with complex situations.

  24. @ChuckWagon
  25. Banquo: I have been/am/will be praying and many others are as well. Thankfully, I won't find out what will happen if we don't pray. (c:

  36. Snowflakes: I don't know why we invest so much in solar energy when hot air seems to be a major American resource .

  46. I don't think prayer is effective in guiding world leaders.
  47. Instead, I suggest we do the following:
  48. 1 - Collection information from the media, especially those who have shown a willingness to criticize the current people in power
  49. 2 - Support a culture which promotes strong media organizations
  50. 3 - Vote in representatives which have good minds and support the Constitution
  51. +barabbas`
  52. Raven`X Have you seen the new solar roof panels that look like composition shingles?
  53. @ChuckWagon
  54. Snowflakes: Question - would doing those things prevent prayer? Is this an either/or proposition?
  55. +Snowflakes
  56. 4 - Educate ourselves about history so that we know how governments often use military action to distract from other failings
  57. ChuckWagon: I think that prayer is compatible with the above practices

  63. The primary danger of doing prayer is if you overvalue its effectiveness -- then you may be disincentivized to do the hard work of other behaviors
  64. @ChuckWagon
  65. Snowflakes: Then ... no worries. We don't have to do one instead of the other as you suggested.

  80. @ChuckWagon
  81. Snowflakes: Just saying - it's not an "instead of" necessity. Praying certainly does no harm.

  83. Still don't know how much actual damage the attack did.
