  16. Ah, now this time things seem quite a bit different. Finding myself a giant is unexpected, but... well, there are worse gates. An excuse to seem long-lived in a positive, but getting wrapped up in others' schemes is once again frustrating. It's probably a frustrating thing to Colfenor that I don't wear my heart quite as much on my sleeve as other giants, but I prefer to channel it into other pursuits... pursuits that grant me more than a bit of control over flame much in the same way a flamekin might be able to use it.

  18. Really, though, the trouble I got into thanks to Colfenor wasn't even actually that bad for the most part. Which was a welcome change. A peaceful decade, one that actually WAS peaceful, was enjoyable. And with the local mages that tended to follow me around at times, it certainly kept things interesting without being overtly troublesome.
