  1. The Archon was flying about, the wind shroud shielding him from the effects of the friction and atmospheric resistance; he moved at unbelievable speed too, able to defy the limitations of correspondence and easily traversing the entire of Agartha.
  2.
  3. Besides, he had finally become the one with the Wind; his skin was almost transparent, and all it took to transfer him down from volcano was to submerge himself into element, after which the winds carried him down. It almost seemed that wherever there was air, the Archon could transfer there.
  4.
  5. An omnipotence for the local area, if anything.
  6.
  7. Although, he was in for surprise on his own accord. Just as he suddenly appeared beneath the volcano, his crimson gaze shifted towards the source of magic nearby, feeling the presence of Fae- and upon closer inspection, that was Ravan.
  8.
  9. "--Hrm."
  10.
  11. "Unexpected."
  12. (Zaruma)
  13.
  14. Quietly the fae was walking, each step taking them multiple feet across the ground even with their small size. It was strange to see and looked to be more based on actual strength that rippled through their body. It was with little to no care for their surroundings, as they were just walking towards Ardent that they'd hear the familiar voice.
  15.
  16. Immediately their body tensed and one hand was holding tightly onto a...Fishing pole? That was on their back, "Wha-" Their voice stuttered as they finally took full notice of Zaruma floating there in their strange way.
  17.
  18. Immediately the friendly fae frowned, "This is definitely unexpected..." Ravan fell to silence, just deciding to see what the Archon possibly had to say.
  19. (Ravan)
  20.
  21. The Archon stared down the fairy, at loss of words at first. This meeting was certainly an odd coincidence, but if anything, this was an opportunity to find out more what's the fairy been up to.
  22.
  23. Approaching closer, the palpable presence of Zaruma was becoming clearer with every single inch that he's been closing in. A pair of crimson eyes gazed upon Ravan, inquisitively too.
  24.
  25. "Nice fishing pole you got there, Ravan."
  26.
  27. An odd form of starting a conversation, especially if he was looming closer like a threat with every passing moment.
  28.
  29. "But do tell--"
  30.
  31. "What Noxim been up to? Most importantly, what you were up to?"
  32.
  33. If Fairy was adequate, he'd easily figure out that Archon wouldn't accept dodgy answers, and clearly wished to know what's happening.
  34. (Zaruma)

  37.
  38. For Ravan, having just woken up from their long sleep on one of the benches. It was going to be a jolly day, one with actual activity that was going to be in Arden't arena. However it seemed that was now...A less then possible goal with an Archon slowly moving closer.
  39.
  40. Tiny steps were taken backwards, unlike before these one were 'much' shorter, much more equal to the Fae's actual size. Their grip on the fishing pole was grasped even harder at the talk about it and they continually frowned.
  41.
  42. "...It is a nice fishing pole, why do you want to know what we're up to though? I doubt it matters much to you, Mr. Zaruma, Archon of Gaiar." Their words, even though seemingly a bit spiteful were definitely not filled with a tone of hostility. Ravan knew Zaruma, they also knew who they hated and disliked...This Archon was not one of them.
  43. (Ravan)
  44.
  45. The Archon deeply sighed to Ravan's remark.
  46.
  47. A flash of crimson eyes was apparent, clearly disliking the Fairy's answer; there was a small threshold of patience with him as well. All things considered, he did treason Aetherius in its time of need.
  48.
  49. "I believe answering a question with another question is rather... rude, Ravan. Don't you think so?"
  50.
  51. An obvious hint to the fairy regarding the conversation lead, after which, he exclaimed.
  52.
  53. "Now--"
  54.
  55. "Do let me know, what is it that Noxim is up for, and you as well?"
  56. (Zaruma)
  57.
  58. An exorcist presence approached from Zaruma's back, one that he'd surely feel. They were polar opposites that repelled each other just be occupying the same space. Demons were the undisputed kings of dark magic after all, and this one was in the final stage of his evolution.
  59.
  60. When she heard the name spoken by Ravan, it all made sense to her. The woman cleared her throat. "I'm passing by Little Mame in order to hire their runescribe for something. We won't have any trouble, will we?" she asked, in more of a disdainful tone than anything.
  61. (Elizabeth Sharp)
  62.
  63. There was a moment of clarity in the Fae's eyes, as with the introduction of a second person. That unwillingness they had just moments before to fight against Zaruma flipped. It seemed Ravan was unsure about their odds against an Archon like the man with their own might. Yet, with Elizabeth around it seemed...They gained bravery.
  64.
  65. "What we're up to is none of your business Mr. Zaruma, though it is mostly resting." In fact their voice was truthful, the demon and fae combination had indeed been mostly resting for the last year while watching the Soybeans grow into what they were now.
  66.
  67. Their tone however, showed clear defiance, an unwillingness to truly answer the question.
  68. (Ravan)
  69.
  70. A glance of the crimson was thrown towards Elizabeth. Almost neglectful of her, he merely spoke out.
  71.
  72. "Move along. I have no business with you."
  73.
  74. Although, his gaze was shifted back towards Ravan, displeased by the defiance shown. Zaruma did not intend to just leave without receiving any sort of answer, and the Archon neared closer, much like a looming Tempest over fairy's head.
  75.
  76. "I do not think you understand what sort of game you're playing, Ravan."
  77.
  78. "Save the trouble to us both and answer the question. Least, you wish for me to change my... tone."
  79.
  80. While mostly neutral from his expression, the wording could suggest to Ravan that he didn't have much patience to such defiance.
  81. (Zaruma)
  82.
  83. You have 2 minutes left until your next check. You currently do not qualify for an RPP reward in the upcoming check.
  84.
  85. "If you have business with him, you have business with me." she said firmly.
  86.
  87. Fairies, beings born from the lifestream that she swore to protect. She wouldn't let anyone stomp all over them, whether they be hunters or Archons. Elizabeth heard his tone and knew that he wouldn't resolve things peacefully if Ravan continued to refuse giving him information.
  88.
  89. "If you decide to change your tone, I won't hesitate to assist Ravan in defeating you." she spoke, now sticking around to see the scene through to the end! Runescribing would have to wait until later.
  90. (Elizabeth Sharp)
  91.
  92. There was a falter in the Fae's step for just a brief moment, the threat of Zaruma actually being rather effective. However with the womans words being spoken after the Archon, another surge of courage braced itself inside their chest. Soon with the burst of bravery a smile actually began taking over where there was once a frown.
  93.
  94. Ravan had defeated Kaors, had grown to be unafraid of them, to become strong enough to actually defend their self with strength! But, they knew that Archons were something different, something so much more. Yet still the fae had grown strong! Strong enough that they were sure they could at least scratch the skin of one, if not do so much more.
  95.
  96. "Mr. Zaruma, I...I'm no longer a part of Gaiar, I am now longer loyal to you Archons and under your whims. I'd advise not coming to somewhere that you definitely don't own speaking orders to people who aren't under you like myself!" There was no backing down any longer, they especially had no plans to do so with Elizabeth speaking out for them.
  97. (Ravan)
  98.
  99. Overhearing the words coming from Elizabeth, amused, the Archon turned his gaze towards the woman. Observing her in a manner that suggested nothing short of a mockery, almost questioning her intelligence with his gaze alone, he spoke.
  100.
  101. "A Holy Magi being ignorant of the cause and effect... who would've thought."
  102.
  103. Zaruma made a pause, closing his eyes for a split moment, if only to let his gaze fall upon Elizabeth once more. The piercing crimson eyes were staring into her mind, into her very soul as he spoke.
  104.
  105. "This is about Noxim, a Demon who had sought to establish his own dominance amongst other Demons. He's not powerful enough to betray Ardent yet, but no doubt, he will."
  106.
  107. "And his actions are telling as much."
  108.
  109. He inspected Elizabeth briefly, almost observant of her reaction; he could already anticipate that she'd get involved regardless of the facts that would be given to her, but he chose to continue nonetheless.
  110.
  111. "So far, the information about him suggests that he intends to evoke powers of Umbral Lords to his own gain, which ultimately means submission of others."
  112.
  113. "And this fairy-- this fairy is a servant of that Demon, blinded by it's desire to avenge the fallen masters. Too far blinded to see the reasons for why we have this situation."
  114.
  115. "Your flock of Holy Magi have already done plentiful of mistakes in the past. Ardent has already summoned our wrath before, costing thousands of lives on your side."
  116.
  117. "And I tell you once again - step away. Do not get involved in something you have no idea about."
  118.
  119. His gaze turned back to Ravan. The Archon was unamused by his move of attempting to hide behind Elizabeth's back, but by all means, it seemed to be working out so far. Now, whether Elizabeth would acknowledge any of the words, that's a whole different story.
  120.
  121. "You have no idea whatyou're getting involved in, Ravan. You have no idea as for the reasons behind Aetherius state, either."
  122.
  123. "Do tell, and I will consider sharing such knowledge in return."
  124. (Zaruma)
  125.
  126. You have 3 hours, 34 minutes left until your next check. You currently do not qualify for an RPP reward in the upcoming check.
  127.
  128. "I know of Noxim. That demon, he hasn't been in Ardent in a very long time. He surely knows that he's not welcome there, after the rebellion. Because if I saw him walking our streets once more, I'd slay him where he stood." she spoke on the subject of Noxim.
  129.
  130. The crimson gaze was enough to send a chill down her spine, but she wouldn't show any semblance of fear outwardly. The woman stood resolute despite the odds, staring back into his eyes and combatting his piercing stare with her own.
  131.
  132. "I'll still be here if this turns to a fight. To protect that fairy. Not to support Noxim, but to make sure that he doesn't get hurt." she said, before turning her eyes towards Ravan.
  133.
  134. "And, what's this about? You're a servant of Noxim?" she asked.
  135. (Elizabeth Sharp)
  136.
  137.
  138. Zaruma says, "Your protection is misdirected. Don't tell me that I didn't warn you, when it bites you back in the future."
  139.
  140. Elizabeth Sharp says, "I wouldn't cry to a demon about my problems."
  141. Immediately something in the Fae's head seemed to snap. 'Masters', Zaruma thought that Fae kind and even Ravan were, servants? Bits of red tinged the edges of their eyes as the grip on their tightened further, in fact if it wasn't for the fact the wooden structure had been reinforced before it'd of snapped by now.
  142.
  143. Tears even tinged the corner of their sights as a feeling of betrayal filled them, they had thought well of Zaruma before, if only that he was a bit threatening. Now however, Ravan felt a cold dislike for just the sight of them.
  144.
  145. "I am NO servant, I have never been a servant!" Their voice raised and the ground around them actually began giving out little webbing cracks as a colourful radiation started forming.
  146.
  147. Zaruma's latter words were completely ignored, the fae's entire mind focused on what they had said before.
  148.
  149. "I am Ravan, the Dirt Fae, friend to many, watcher and protector of the Soybeans! Noxim may be a friend, but he is not a master, NOBODY has been my master." Their voice cracked and so did the dirt armour that covered their body. Mana expulsed itself and vibrant colours wrapped around their form.
  150.
  151. "You have no 'idea' about me Ravan, me or Noxim for that matter." Their eyes now carried hostility, a clear dislike having already imprinted itself with the brief words of Zaruma.
  152. (Ravan)
  153.
  154.
  155. Aysel says, "I'm. Just going to back up and out of this."
  156. Hearing him shout, scream, thrash in emotion like this - it bemused the Archon, and yet, somehow he found this sight oddly... entertaining. Was Ravan truly full of such ideals all along?
  157.
  158. Even Elizabeth's presence was almost entirely ignored at this point, despite the evident distaste he has obtained to the nature of the woman. Instead, Zaruma's arms were crossed, glaring down at the Fairy.
  159.
  160. "Oh? Not Masters? Did you consider yourself a friend?"
  161.
  162. "Would a friend betray another in the times of need? Would a friend leave without any explanation or attempts to reason? Would a friend lay with the enemy, one responsible for devouring those you held close?"
  163.
  164. The Archon loomed closer to the fairy, but not out of the combative threat, no; he was amused by such misguided ideals, and wished to challenge them, truly.
  165.
  166. "You knew how much we needed you... you knew how much worth you were. To me, to Anaxes, to Erenan..."
  167.
  168. His voice turned noxious, almost spilling hatred from his tongue with the next words.
  169.
  170. "And you betrayed us, left us in the time of need."
  171.
  172. If that weren't enough, the Archon's projection invaded the Fae's mind, establishing a telepathic link to Ravan.
  173.
  174. "The Cruxati would eventually go, Ravan... and Tragedy did this to ruin Coalition, to see Kayeliun give up her Empire..."
  175.
  176. "This is what I've been meaning to say. We needed you- so did Anaxes, Erenan. They died fighting to see Aetherius thrive... and Tragedy did this to ensure that Coalition would not wipe us."
  177.
  178. "Even now... the Cruxati are going to be forced out, soon. We needed you all along, and these years were not easy on us--"
  179.
  180. "And you did what, abandon us, without a second thought, without any word? And you dare to call yourself a friend of mine?"
  181.
  182. "A friend of Anaxes, of Erenan?"
  183.
  184. "Disgusting..."
  185.
  186. The flooding words inside his mind were seeking to fuel his rage, his anxiety, his distaste and his pity - all of the negativity was brought rolling forth, made to reveal Zaruma's point of view about this all.
  187.
  188. "But in the end--"
  189.
  190. "You remain a traitor. Despite everything you've done, I tolerated your presence-- I sought to have at least something to redeem you in my eyes."
  191.
  192. "And this is what you do, Ravan?"
  193. (Zaruma)
  194.
  195. Things were escalating quite fast, and she needed to prepare herself for the impending fight as it now seemed like it was sure to happen. This wasn't a battle that she'd act as a mediator of - not when there was a demon involved. Perhaps drawing from her own reasoning now, she knew that Zaruma needed to be taken down.
  196.
  197. And if supporting the fae in this endeavor could help her accomplish it, that's what she'd do. Elizabeth recently received a report that Zaruma planned on wandering the plains and spilling magi blood. That very Archon was the one standing in front of her. Would she ever get an opportunity like this?
  198.
  199. No. At least, not in her mind.
  200.
  201. This was where she needed to support Ravan. These Archons were always caged up in their respective colonies, waiting for someone to step on their turf. She saw it with Eiphraem, and with the one who killed her master: Tragedy. So if Zaruma wouldn't notice her, she'd make him notice her.
  202.
  203. "This fairy doesn't owe anything to a demon."
  204.
  205. She spoke boldly, her courage manifesting in a blinding blue glow that erupted from around her. Her willpower was channeled through the Emperor's blessing. At the same time, she attuned herself with the natural order. Lights of white and blue merged with eachother, her justice shining from within the golden incandescence.
  206.
  207. And she'd train her staff in front of her, prepared to throw down. More emphasis on the throw, probably. This guy was a lot stronger than her.
  208. (Elizabeth Sharp)
  209.
  210. Lucan whispers something.
  211.
  212.
  213. Aysel says, "..This is still happening, huh."
  214. Lucan whispers something.
  215.
  216.
  217. Noxim Florus asks, "...'Still'?"
  218.
  219. Noxim Florus says, "..."
  220. Ravan froze in place, their ears were perked while they listened onwards as Zaruma continued onwards about their betrayal. It was...In the mind of Ravan, fully wrong.
  221.
  222. "No...Zaruma, I never considered myself your friend, neither Anazes. I considered myself a fighter, a civilian of Gaiar...I am not like other Fae or whimsical people, I choose my friends! Just because we spoke once doesn't mean we are friends, you were 'nothing' but an Archon in my eyes." With a voice full of gritty dislike they'd simply step forward once and point the fishing pole at the Archon.
  223.
  224. "Suzerain, Saruin, Ru, Choi, Gossamer, Kin-Zhen, and Zogen...I'll never forget the people who were truly my friends, NEVER, they always on my mind, the memories I held with them flashing by daily."
  225.
  226. "You don't understand anything about me it seems...I knew Suzerain better then you, Qi-qi, unlike you I even tended to their grave. I buried them alongside their queen Gossamer, while you what...Huddled in Gaiar plotting alongside Tragedy the selfish Archon on what flavor of bubbles they should blow later?"
  227.
  228. It looked like this was going down into a fight, especially with Elizabeths words.
  229.
  230. "I am a traitor to Gaiar, and your reasoning's behind what you do Zaruma, I do not trust. I cannot trust the words of you or Tragedy any longer."
  231. (Ravan)
  232.
  233. It could be noted that a familiar mass of tinder and bile slowly came into view, its massive form trailing behind a young woman and man of the nearby settlement. A pair of glowing sapphire eyes stared from behind a bleached mask of carved wood, carefully perched atop the creature's unsightly form.
  234.
  235. For better or worse, Noxim and a small squadron of various beans had just stumbled onto the scene. For the time being, the demon itself seemed more intent on making sense of what was going on, rather than what was about to happen.
  236. (Noxim Florus)
  237.
  238. The Archon stared down at the fairy while it explained itself. His arms were crossed, his expression portrayed a mild frown while the crimson hues observed the Fairy.
  239.
  240. It was quite a moment of reveal, if anything; the moment where personal feelings of Ravan prevailed over that of any logic, at least in Zaruma's eyes. Even cupping his cheek while he floated in a stance that resembled as if he sat on invisible chair of air, thanks to his manipulation of the wind, he grew amused.
  241.
  242. "What makes you think I don't know any of these people, their motives or their desires?"
  243.
  244. "You could have your chance for revenge, your chance to know more. You wasted it."
  245.
  246. A gesture of a finger pointed up was shown backwards at Elizabeth, almost ushering her to wait, but he did not bother to glance back at the Holy magi - whom, doubtlessly, would be eager to attack the Archon.
  247.
  248. "Save your breath. I'm done speaking to this fairy."
  249.
  250. On that note, the Archon began to seem almost transparent, merging into the wind; least anyone would actually intend to stop him as he was vanishing into the gust of wind, the Tempest soon disappears.
  251. (Zaruma)
  252.
  253. Elizabeth would attempt to pursue, of course! Kind of went with the deal in attacking him. She'd probably fail though.
  254. (Elizabeth Sharp)
  255.
  256. would attempt to pursue alongside Elizabeth, with mage legs.
  257. (Ravan)
  258.
  259. The Vanirhallan stumbles forward over the ledge; The usually intimidating man looking more like a lost clown than someone who really belonged here. It was only after walking straight into Amane's back that he stopped, staggering backwards.
  260.
  261. There was a reaction from him as the Archon spoke-- though it did not do much else than to show that while he had lost his vision, he was still fully capable of interpreting audible cues.
  262.
  263. "Who?" he quietly snarled, followed by a grunt.
  264. (Askiladd Sea-Snake)
  265.
  266. Noxim only attempts to pursue the speeding archon, should Zaruma be incapable of escaping one of his other quarries. The demon was interested in the situation, but not for the sake of hostility.
  267. (Noxim Florus)
  268.
  269. Vanishes into the air, leaving nothing but an afterimage of himself.
  270. (Zaruma)
  271.
  272. -- How interesting.
  273.
  274. Falling into silence was but the only action Lucan could take when standing before such overwhelming evil. Lips gently pursed against one another as his gaze constantly shifted between all those before them. Just as his mouth came to open in a tempest of winds all rushing outwards he could only witness this Archon make his escape.
  275.
  276. "... You know. Could you all maybe next time, not have this in such an awkward spot." His words rolling from his tongue. as the sound of shifting boots quickly replaced the silence those winds had left. Not only was this place exceedingly cramped all the same, but they also stood infront of the most popular warper.
  277.
  278. "... Ravan, Zaruma who's gone an' some blonde woman, Sea-Snake."
  279.
  280. He spoke once more, calling back to Viking.
  281. (Lucan)
  282.
  283. A cautious expression; Amane having sprinted to catch up with the group after having been in a bit of a daze, lost in her thoughts from news.
  284.
  285. It wasn't until she saw Zaruma, stopping on a dime behind Lucan and Noxim in a slide as her tail swished back and forth from fear. It seemed like he was preparing to leave?
  286.
  287. A relief.
  288.
  289. If she had taken the path Nerzan did, she might have tried to fight him, but instead she would give a friendly smile and awkward wave as he went to leave.
  290.
  291. ..Though there were people chasing him it would seem, they totally wouldn't suceed.
  292. (Amane Faoleng)
  293.
  294.
  295.
  296.
  297. Sigil of Power [OUTPOST]
  298.
  299. An outpost to the Gaiar Aetherius.
  300.
  301. Unlike the main city, this place is mostly manned by the army that served Demonkind, alongside with researchers that worked day and night to develop new means of restoring the old civilization and it's every little bit.
  302.
  303. Less populated, but clearly no less busy than Aetherius itself, the Sigil of Power was a place of constant activity.
  304.
  305. A place of progress and strength.
  306.
  307.
  308. You have 2 hours, 37 minutes left until your next check. You currently qualify for an RPP reward in the upcoming check!
  309.
  310.
  311.
  312.
  313. Gaiar Aetherius [SETTLEMENT]
  314.
  315. The City of Gaiar Aetherius, built around the fortress of Gaiar Alata. The smell of occultism lingers in the air, alongside a distinct feeling of something dreadful occasionally probing the corners of one's thoughts. There are a few oddities dictating that this is not a city of man.
  316.
  317. This is a city of Demons.
  318.
  319. There are two sprawling towers to either side of the fortress- On the left, the Temple of Hurricane, and on the right, the Temple of Inferno. To the southeast is the Temple of Challenge- A blood smeared battleground designed for demons and those who dwell among them to truly test their skills in battle.
  320.
  321. The people in this town are stoic, hardworking- but ultimately, allowed to prosper under the rule of Agarthans. Only the truly devoted receive the merit of living in this city- while infested with vagabonds and shady folk, law seems to work just fine.
  322.
  323. Perhaps something more intimidating than that keeps it all in shape.
  324.
  325.
  326.
  327. Adara Fiamma says, "Greetings lord Zaruma."
  328.
  329. Matthan Minett says, "Oh by the way I'm Matthan."
  330.
  331. Zaruma says, "Greetings."
  332.
  333. Zaruma says, "It appears that the likes of Ravan and Noxim still hold a grudge on me."
  334.
  335. Adara Fiamma asks, "Any news on the robot and tinkerer's latest folley?"
  336.
  337. Zaruma says, "No. I was wandering the land, and ah--"
  338.
  339. Rothraim says, "I'm Rothraim."
  340.
  341. Zaruma says, "One Order magi from Ardent, Noxim and Ravan attempted to gang up on me."
  342.
  343. Zaruma says, "They were too slow to catch me."
  344.
  345. Rothraim exclaims, "but you already knew that!"
  346.
  347. Matthan Minett exclaims, "Yes yes!"
  348.
  349. Adara Fiamma says, "Shall we head back there and show them who they're fucking with? Surely myself, the two kaor, and yourself can handle them. Maybe even Atro there can join."
  350.
  351. Zaruma says, "We actually might."
  352.
  353. Atro Gwyn says, "Oh, my- yes, I was waiting, and I was told they wouldn't be a problem..."
  354.
  355. Zaruma says, "If you wish to head out now."
  356.
  357. Zaruma asks, "Do you wish to go then, Atro?"
  358.
  359. Atro Gwyn says, "Yes."
  360.
  361. Zaruma says, "Very well."
  362. Adara snaps her fingers and a staff materializes on her back, seemingly formed from lightning itself. "Let's go then."
  363. (Adara Fiamma)
  364.
  365.
  366. Atro Gwyn says, "Noxim betrayed each of us after all."
  367.
  368. Durohan says, "If you'll excuse me, I have a hole going from one end of my body to the other to tend to before any serious fights..."
  369.
  370. Atro Gwyn says, "And he has something I gave him..."
  371. Kaidus whispers: hail vagrants
  372.
  373. "Kalista--"
  374.
  375. Askiladd's eyes perch up at the well-familiar voices from both sides of him. At one side, the familiar voice of a dear one and at the other side...
  376.
  377. His milky-white eyes widened as he pushed himself past the Drakanite, following the direction of the voice - and there it was. Even if he wasn't able to see, that gross, sickly energy that radiated from the woman--
  378.
  379. It had to be her.
  380.
  381. "It is you, you fucker!" The Anguill growled, pushing himself past even the Demon as he reaches for Flamberge. Air rose up around him and was swiftly ignited, coating him in a surging shroud of flames. Lest the ones around him would move, they would surely be caught up in the blind man's storm - even if unintentional.
  382.
  383. "You dare to come here, after that. Why? I ask again; Why?" He screamed at the top of his lungs; The man once more being a nuisance to those in his near vicinity.
  384.
  385. As for Kalista? She was ignored in favor of the other.
  386. (Askiladd Sea-Snake)
  387.
  388.
  389. Aysel says, "I have a very distinct feeling that a lot of misunderstandings are about to happen very quickly and there is no possible way this ends well."
  390.
  391. Noxim Florus says, "..."
  392. Jack glances up towards the Kaor and merely unstraps his rifle from his back. He loads the chamber with mana and would take a deep breath in, lifting the rifle upwards and aiming it at Kaidus. " I want to hunt you. " he states bluntly.
  393.
  394.
  395. (Jack)
  396.
  397. Ho, hum...
  398.
  399. The sudden burst of anger from that of this Viking was one met with a crooked grin. Flames tainted by the touch of occultism burning and beginning to spew outwards from the body of this Knight. Realization all the same that it was this woman who had chosen to look down upon those that stood in Little Mame as though they were something she could easily abuse.
  400.
  401. "Harming our own... Leaving him scarred for life... And then you believe you're allowed to waltz through here as though you have a right?" His words rolling from his tongue as illusions poured outwards from beneath his coat. Movements dragging him right to the side of this Viking, he who had already failed once against this beast of a woman.
  402.
  403. "Sea-Snake... Just say the word. I will be more than willing to aid you in ah, capturing this woman who has wronged us."
  404.
  405. Huff.
  406. (Lucan)
  407.
  408. "I did not come to do battle once more, Askiladd. I have friends within this village, and I was merely looking for a runescribe to hire. I was told that there was one here, correct?" she asked, her aura not flaring up in response to the Viking's clearly harmful intent.
  409.
  410. And then, the cavalry arrived. Zaruma returned with some forces of his own, and there was a crowd on the side of Little Mame as well. This included Noxim Florus, a demon which she didn't align with in the slightest. As time went on, it seemed like she was put in a very bad situation.
  411.
  412. And as grateful as Ravan was for her help, the other villagers weren't too happy about her being here.
  413. (Elizabeth Sharp)
  414.
  415. A nod to the Fae was given; a friendly smile following before eyes wandered to the ones claiming against Askiladd. Whether or not anyone else would, Amane would draw her staff and be prepared to fight should it come down to it.
  416.
  417. Askiladd? He would probably be able to handle himself. Probably...Though his injuries may make it much harder.
  418.
  419. "This is the territory of Little Mame, you can't just come in and demand one of our own. Askiladd, would you handle this yourself or do you need back up?"
  420.
  421. A nod as she offered her help alongside Lucan; walking to stand beside of them both with a prepared and focused expression.
  422.
  423. What could go wrong?
  424. (Amane Faoleng)
  425.
  426. At the sight of the very familar vanirhallan, the hooded woman emitted a growl. One filled with anger and plenty of other emotional stress. Gripping her open hand into a fist, a pair of green-eyes lit up from behind the hood.
  427.
  428. Bringing a hand up to pull the hood back, revealing the rieka infested face of anger that it was concealing. Until something else caught her attention, Sharp.
  429.
  430. Freeing the viking from her glare, she hinted something towards him. "We'll settle this later, Askiladd. But for now."
  431.
  432. Tilting her head to the side, Whatever anger Sentry had was now focused on the blonde woman. A hint of acid on the tip of her tongue as she began to speak up towards Elizibeth.
  433.
  434.
  435.
  436. "You! You did this to him? I'm going to tear your fucking arms off, lady."
  437. (Sentry)

  441. Kaidus has emerged victorious!
  442.
  443. Adara Fiamma has rolled 2 or over: they may escape capture attempts (unless otherwise specified)!
  444.
  445. Kaidus has exited Mame Bridge.
  446.
  447. Zaruma whispers: ayo lil momma lemme whisper in yo ear
  448.
  449. Zaruma whispers: might say some that you'd like to hear
  450.
  451. Lucan whispers: dad no
  452.
  453. Cho whispers: (Z-zaruma-kun..)
  454.
  455. Ravan drops Fishing Rod.
  456.
  457. Ravan picks up Fishing Rod.
  458.
  459. Even without the usage of his eyes, the Vanirhallan flew forth as if homing onto the woman - without a doubt due to his abilities as a Warchanter, or as it was called in common tongue: a Mystic.
  460.
  461. Energies that radiated from her being distorted the faint, azure channels that ran parallel to the earth. It did come at a price, however, as he wasn't able to sense his ally quite as well and, time after time, delivered a blow that would strike at her back rather than that of his enemy.
  462.
  463. But all is fair in love and war, mm?
  464.
  465. With the Shenghese mender's movements slowing down and her energy focused into the opposite direction, Askiladd is able to make his way up behind her. Muslced arms wrap around the cloud in his vision and, immediately, he swings his torso backwards in hopes of mercilessly slamming her into the cliffside wall.
  466.
  467. But it'd be a bit too amazing if he was able to do all that while blind.
  468.
  469. Instead, the Fourfold is slammed straight down into the <s>mountain</s> river; Her body plummeting down under the surface.
  470.
  471. As for the Vanirhallan himself? He mostly look disoriented-- not exactly sure how a mountain would emit a splash.
  472.
  473. nature u scary
  474.
  475.
  476.
  477. (Askiladd Sea-Snake)

  479. You have 1 hour, 33 minutes left until your next check. You currently qualify for an RPP reward in the upcoming check!
  480.
  481. There was a difference between courage and stupidity. Standing up when the situation called for it, and taking unfavorable odds. Impossible fights. When the battle transpired, this much was present. Elizabeth needed a way out of the fight. When her spells were being muted, she didn't have enough coverage for the two of them.
  482.
  483. When she found a window, she would need to book it as soon as possible. And for this fight, it would be when she was slammed down into the river. A splash was heard, the injured woman not rising to the surface. For all intents and purposes, it seemed like she was dead. Drowned. Askiladd must have killed her, if she didn't rise after all of that time.
  484.
  485. But no corpse floated to the surface. Instead, Elizabeth had encased herself in a bubble using her water magic. Dwelling at the bottom of the waters, she rolled her way along the river and allowed it to carry her away from the fight.
  486. (Elizabeth Sharp)
  487. (Posted 2 minutes ago)
  488.
  489. Adara arrives
  490. (Adara Fiamma)
  491.
  492. Thus -- The conflict came to its conclusion.
  493.
  494. Wincing at every strike as they watched from the sidelines as these powerful figures continued to exchange blows. Silence beginning to creep and overtake this Knight as this sudden realization of difference between themselves and those at the top. Well, if Sea-Snake had gone into this conflict without aid it was apparent loss would of followed.
  495.
  496. "I- I get this sinking feeling we may of just started something we really didn't intend to." His words rolling from his tongue with a sense of caution all the same. One glance shot back in the direction of Aysel as even more forces seemed to appear right at their doorstep. Yet another conflict, another set of beings they would be forced to handle.
  497.
  498. "How fun."
  499.
  500. Oh boy.
  501. (Lucan)
  502.
  503.
  504. Aysel says, "..Something to talk to Geese about. This won't be an issue."
  505. Noxim silently scratches his side, his expression was one of complete indifference with the order magi's abrupt retreat from the situation- or potential demise somewhere down the river. The beast sighed audibly, before he turned his attention back towards the cluster of soybeans at his side.
  506.
  507. "...Well, this has been something. A simple trip to clear up some issues, and yet we've avoided one situation with the Archon, and somehow exasperated the issue with Ardent further. Lovely."
  508. (Noxim Florus)
  509.
  510.
  511. Jack says, "Bah. "
  512. What was this?! He had only just returned from his travels to find a certain person and now there he was, standing on the side watching people fight. Or well, they were done battling and the one person that was sent flying into the water had vanished. They probably swam away, who wouldn't?
  513.
  514. Eros rubbed his chin, looked to Lucan on his left and hummed, what the fuck just happened? That was his first thought, he nudged Lucan.
  515.
  516. "What happened here?" he asked, still looking at everyone that had gathered. There were even people from Gaiar there, what. . ?
  517. (Eros)
  518.
  519. The Tempest has brought several Aetherius members on his winds, much like the hurricane itself that transpired through the lands; the quick nature of the Archon allowed him to move around with ease, prompting to make use of his newfound power to neglect both friction and atmospheric resistance alike.
  520.
  521. It was something to behold.
  522.
  523. Yet, when the Archon arrived, his gaze went out to scan the area for the likes of Elizabeth and Ravan, only soon noting the presence of Noxim still being here.
  524.
  525. "Where's that fairy? He owes me some personal time for the words he was so brave to speak of in the presence of his friends."
  526.
  527. But it did not amuse Zaruma in the slightest that he wasn't able to see Ravan anywhere. He could almost feel... that presence of Fae, but for all he knows, it could be just Nyphadora.
  528.
  529. "Where is he?"
  530. (Zaruma)
  531.
  532.
  533. Noxim Florus says, "...Ahh. Speaking of."
  534. Adara closely followed Zaruma, flames licking her heels and suspending her in the air. She had been informed that someone tried to harm her lord, and now, she was furious. As she traveled she seemed to singe the very ground below her, and the lightning that arced between her horns caused powerful reverberations to shoot through the air. The Drakanite's slitted eyes flicked quickly around the area, some could swear they even saw flames within her eyes. Each breath she took seemed to shoot out dark streams of smoke. The gryphon on her chest pulsing powerfully, though it brought her pain, that only drove her forward, she could feel Zaruma's occult magic dancing across her chest.
  535.
  536. Adara offered no words as of now, though on the edge of exploding, she simply followed her master.
  537. (Adara Fiamma)
  538.
  539.
  540. Jack says, "Now this is more like it. "
  541. Atro was in tow, with the group from Aetherius, a thought on a single individual- it played his thoughts. And so he traveled with all the speed that he could.
  542.
  543. And there, they were- more specifically his eyes on a towering being; so Atro smiled, it was light but lacking sincerity. Gazing up towards Noxim with a slight cant of his head.
  544.
  545. "It's been a while, Noxim." His eyes betrayed softness, within anger swirled.
  546. (Atro Gwyn)
  547.
  548. Aysel slowly glances to those gathered around her, then STARES DAGGERS straight at Noxim. "Please. If you have nothing to add, and you're just going to cause an issue with this, I'd advise not talking."
  549. (Aysel)
  550.
  551. carried by the winds of the archhlord him self . kaidus stomped on the ground when it had all stopped . he was familiar with a few faces , the ones that attacked him while he was focused on learning . he would snicker then lay his eye on lucan with a shitbag grin on his face.
  552.
  553.
  554. " oi... I thought I told- "
  555.
  556.
  557. his words would stop when his gaze landed on noxim
  558.
  559. " oh what the fuck is.. "
  560.
  561.
  562. once again his words would stop his eyes moving from noxi to the rest of the group. he put his claw upon the hilt of his blade. there was not much else left for him to say . not that he finished any of his sentence's anyway . now was the time for order's and actions to follow . Cause and Effect life and death .
  563. (Kaidus)
  564.
  565. "Where is she!?" The Anguill stared straight down into the not-mountain river, still expecting his foe to emerge at any second. Or well, for her presence to once more be felt.
  566.
  567. The Archon's arrival did not seem to bother him in the slightest-- Askiladd obviously having other things on his mind.
  568.
  569. Far more important things.
  570. (Askiladd Sea-Snake)
  571.
  572. The air is tinged with a dull aura of cold and frost. Aysel stood at the front of Little Mame, a thin layer of ice coating tanned flesh. Around her stood several of Mame's finest, which in the grand scheme of things.. Most of them still looked like kids, honestly.
  573.
  574. Arms cross behind her back, fingers interlocking within each other. She inhales slowly, staring down the crimson hues of Zaruma. She would be lying if she were to say she wasn't nervous, though her outward appearance would definitely betray that notion. Instead, a hand raises, cast aside to the rest of the settlement they'd created.
  575.
  576. "I'm going to be entirely and utterly honest with you. Anyone standing with me here today will tell you that I am many things, but a liar is not one of them." She clears her throat, quietly sizing the rest of Zaruma's group up for a moment. Lips part, and he inhales slowly, clearly making a big deal of the situation.
  577.
  578. ..But when she speaks, it's likely entirely not what he wants to hear.
  579.
  580. "I have no idea. We were busy dealing with the OTHER pest who was trying to pick a fight not just with you, but with us. And he might have slipped away in the fight, or simply wandered off. But I do not see him around, ah?" Orange eyes meet his crimson gaze for a moment, before they turn outwards towards Noxim, towards the rest of her group.
  581.
  582. "..I could relay a message for you, if you'd like?"
  583. (Aysel)
  584.
  585. Noxim slowly turned in place, his massive form dug into the soil below, uprooting clumps of grass with each powerful step. Amongst the group of young men and women, the demon was impossible to miss. A form riddled with cracks and debris, thick rivulets of blackened tar slowly dribbled down an angled chin, dripping from behind the beast's bleached mask.
  586.
  587. "...The Fae has vanished as he is oft known to do, as for where he is, I am uncertain and the Order Magi has either drowned...or is now halfway to Ardent, somewhere in that river there."
  588.
  589. His voice was calm and collected, no measure of clear emotion held within his tone. With due time, the creature's gaze hovered over Aysel's hostile glare, to Kaidus' expression of disbelief, before settling squarely on Atro's introduction.
  590.
  591. "It has been some time, Atro. It is good to see you are still in good health. -I- trust you have found the purpose in your life you were seeking?"
  592. (Noxim Florus)
  593.
  594. -- Click.
  595.
  596. Taking his place at the side of Aysel he spoke not a single word. Gaze dancing around those present before locking upon this Elsyrean that had already made himself known but months prior.
  597.
  598. "Aysel is right. We have no intention of picking a fight with you or the likes of Gaiar." His words rolling from his tongue as gaze still found itself unable to pull away from Atro. Constantly returning towards this man with golden locks.
  599.
  600. "... We do not support what Ravan did. His insults upon this land does not grant his idiocy immunity."
  601.
  602. Nodding, at the very least that sounded correct.
  603. (Lucan)
  604.
  605. Eyes would lock onto Zaruma and his group; the hectic potential traveling to Ardent having turned into this big messy ordeal. Instead of chiming in though? The girl would be awkwardly silent, glaring everywhere but Zaruma's group now.
  606.
  607. Scared. That was a good word. Unlike the others her bravery had run dry and was now saying silent for many reasons, a dry throat blocking any words that she could attempt to speak.
  608.
  609. To put it lightly? This was a mess.
  610.
  611. And she wasn't looking to have her neck snapped for saying something dumb.
  612.
  613. "Y-Yes, not looking to fight..Mhm..Mhm.."
  614.
  615. With that the girl would move a bit closer to Aysel and grow completely quiet, staring to the ground.
  616. (Amane Faoleng)
  617.
  618. Again, what was going on?! People from Little Mame and from Aetherius were standing there, first of all. . He never expected the people from Gaiar to even venture further than Dylerun his school, but it seemed that they could stomach the Sunshine, butterflies and positivity.
  619.
  620. ". . ." He stared at Lucan who stepped up, still, he was confused and just stepped back. Even though he was a part of Little Mame, he was in the dark about all of what was happening and was left only being able to stare at the people and stand behind Lucan and his peers.
  621.
  622. "Shit, is a fight breaking out?" he wondered. That'd be bad. .?
  623. (Eros)
  624.
  625. Atro's teeth grinding, holding back his anger, and shaking his head promptly. A purpose-
  626.
  627. He lived and thought on it so clearly; it was how his life went after the meeting.
  628.
  629. "Yes, I know my purpose." He replied, gazing of to the side, appraising the residents of Little Mame, each etched into his mind.
  630.
  631. And so he clenches his fists, digging deep into flesh to keep himself, and asking with slight head in his voice. "So- the Fae? Where? No specifics? Nothing?"
  632. (Atro Gwyn)
  633.
  634. It was evident that he was displeased with the answer; not because he assumed they would be lying, for he indeed did not see the Fae anywhere around here.
  635.
  636. And such disappointment was reflected in his expression. A visible furrow of his brows was still persistent the entire time that he kept examining the grounds of Little Mame.
  637.
  638. "I see."
  639.
  640. Yet, the Archon was... unresting. He could still feel that odd presence. Perhaps Ravan was somewhere nearby, or were his senses fooling him?
  641.
  642. "Let it be known that I will return. He's loud to speak such words when he's backed with friends."
  643.
  644. "But I intend to go against him in single combat. I'll see how loud he will be when he does not have an Order magi backing him up."
  645.
  646. With a pause, he exclaimed.
  647.
  648. "--And I do not expect anyone to intervene in his defence."
  649. (Zaruma)
  650.
  651. Mitra stands strangely silent, aureate sights scrolling paths through the gaps between every member of the small crowd. The gaps separating each and every individual allowed him proper examination, although there was little space to have scrutiny flash through, but they settled on a somewhat reputed figure.
  652.
  653. Ah, Atro Gwyn. Golden hues glint with a hint of animosity in the pace that a heartless, barbarically insincere grin crosses his features. If he had been in a proper meeting aiming for diplomacy, it wouldn't be unfair to call the Vindict sanctimonious or a bogus.
  654.
  655. And yet, such reaction to bad blood is hidden and muffled under several layers of calm, shining an indecipherable façade- so cynical, and yet so genuine, the paradox of a man. That curl of lips widens. Before Atro's impatience and later inquiry, he spits-
  656.
  657. "You may trust that lying is not in our best interests, as much as Ravan has shown to be non-hostilein the past. The security of our own is worth more than the whereabouts of a fickle liability of a creature.
  658.
  659. Thus, have no fear."
  660.
  661. (Mitra Vindict)
  662.
  663. Adara turns her gaze, but not her head towards Zaruma and the slightest of nods can be seen, she trusted nobody from Little Mame, and yes, she did notice Eros.. and him being on the other side of the mamaries did not please her at all.
  664. (Adara Fiamma)
  665.
  666.
  667. Aysel says, "I'm not sure any of us are in immediate disagreement, Zaruma. Maybe, uh.. Noxim.."
  668. Aysel sweats as Noxim starts to dot.
  669. (Aysel)

  673. "He disappears at a whim, what the fae does and where he goes is not something I know- and trust me, if anyone here would know, it'd be me."he explained, eyes still staring directly towards the blonde-haired Cruxati. A moment would pass, before he raised his gaze up towards the crimson demon at the back of the pack, a fresh face the beast had not met prior.
  674.
  675. "That being said- What is the name of this young one? He seems quite capable- perhaps less than some of the others I have seen, but plenty of potential."
  676.
  677. A jagged smile slips into view with a sickly crack as the beast's mask slowly shuttered open, revealing his sharpened fangs, half submerged in viscous tar.
  678.
  679. "Ahh...Introductions. The name is Noxim, young one. What is yours?"
  680.
  681. Evidently he didn't seem very interested in the old faces gathered, it was all about the new.
  682. (Noxim Florus)
  683.
  684.
  685. Aysel says, "..Well. That pretty much tells you our intent, Zaruma. I'm only sorry I couldn't be of more help."
  686.
  687. Noxim Florus says, "Mmm? Oh, yes. Ravan. I had every intention of stopping him- but..."
  688.
  689. Noxim Florus says, "Well, it was unneeded."
  690.
  691. Zaruma says, "I sincerely doubt you were intending to stop that assault on me, Noxim. That's not the case, anyhow."
  692. Caesar Valerius drops Hair #2.
  693.
  694. Caesar Valerius picks up Hair #2.
  695.
  696. kadius would grit his teeth looking at noxim . he did not know much but only the story's of cannibalism . an uneasy feeling would grow one that irritated kaidus . how could this thing eat demons.. but not have any meat of its body to eat. that's pretty sketchy.
  697.
  698.
  699. kaidus's voice would boom . the voice of three unidentified entity's could be heard two male one female all speaking in a deep tone . his gaze would not leave noxim
  700.
  701. " I am kaidus, introductions from you are not needed kinslayer....eater of kin whatever it might be. you rely on eating your prey such if that is demons well more power to you I guess doesn't bother me if some one was stupid enough to become you meal . but that look in your eye , I am no meal for you "
  702.
  703.
  704.
  705. " that being said I admire all power enemy or ally alike , I will not deny you of your strength just gives me something to look forward to. "
  706.
  707. kaidus gave a shrug
  708.
  709.
  710. kaidus would grit his fangs and fix his blade that was strapped to his hip. his gaze slowly left noxim and on to zaruma waiting to see what the verdict is .
  711. (Kaidus)
  712.
  713.
  714. Soliael Huitzilopochtli says, "< *watches from behind the scenes with Solace* >"
  715. Despite the claims of the people that supposedly had no idea that he was here, the Archon whom sensed this odd presence the entire time could finally begin to feel it's root.
  716.
  717. No, it wasn't Nyphadora. It was something much, much closer to him; his gaze was directed towards Noxim, a strong presence of Holy magic radiating. But from the Demon? Impossible. Something was not quite right...
  718.
  719. It struck his mind that Ravan was indeed the user of Holy Ground, from what he remembered. Perhaps that's where the Holy energies were coming from?
  720.
  721. He floated closer to Noxim, thoroughly inspecting every single inch of the Demon with crimson hues. The closer he approached, the more palpable that presence was- and eventually, it became something that he could not ignore.
  722.
  723. With a frown, he exclaimed.
  724.
  725. "Come out."
  726. (Zaruma)
  727.
  728. You have 40 minutes left until your next check. You currently qualify for an RPP reward in the upcoming check!
  729.
  730. Adara narrows her gaze as she seems to be inspecting the demon that Zaruma approached
  731. (Adara Fiamma)
  732.
  733. Solace links one of her arms with Soliael's and walks around the fountain with him. Hm.
  734. (Solace Huitzilopochtli)
  735.
  736. Usiel reaches into his pocket, stuffing a cigarette into his mouth..
  737. (Usiel)
  738.
  739. Aysel just watches as Zaruma floats on by, an almost dumbfounded look upon her visage. Orange eyes wandered over to the Archon, head canting to one side.
  740.
  741. Of course, she barely spent time with Ravan, let alone even recognized the aura the fae would give off. Hands remained interlocked, as suddenly her eyes went wide.
  742.
  743. "..Wait a fucking minute, are you telling me he went invisible. And DIDN'T walk away?"
  744.
  745. Realization. This was stupid.
  746. (Aysel)
  747.
  748. Soliael Huitzilopochtli whispers something.
  749.
  750.
  751. Soliael Huitzilopochtli says, "I want to speak with you after this. Privately."
  752. The beast remained still, one hand quietly scratching away at his stomach, scraping free a few flecks of wooden plates and splinters with the meager motion. A thin skin of translucent magic shone across the surface of the demon's carapace, the familiar sight of dark magic condensed into a shield of lavender light.
  753.
  754. He said nothing, did nothing, until Zaruma and his cronies acted, he was merely a member of the audience.
  755. (Noxim Florus)
  756.
  757. -- Well!
  758.
  759. In silence his eyes trailed to follow the presence of this Archon. Not daring to speak a word as the challenge had been given towards this Fae that took only to hiding. This was a fight that none of these children actively wanted, actively sought out despite all that was occurring.
  760.
  761. "... I'm... Aysel. I'll wait on your orders if you wish for me to act." His words trailing off as gaze locked to the ground beneath him now. This fae who had seen this conflict beginning to brew upon the surface, tension above all else continuing to rise. And throughout it all?
  762.
  763. He remained.
  764.
  765. This... This was a fate chosen for himself.
  766. (Lucan)
  767.
  768. The Kumo adjusts his bow, the undead scans the environment. Familiar faces. He waves at Atro, but doesn't say a word.
  769. (JaDrako Kumo)
  770.
  771. Shit was going down, he had no idea who this certain Ravan was, butu Zaruma was searching for him. Which either meant that he had run away from Zaruma, or he needed to do something. Judging from the way Zaruma was searching for him, he doubted he Ravan did good. "Oh, well. Too bad for you, Ravan." said Eros.
  772.
  773. Walking back a bit, to make sure he was in a safe space and didn't come near any of the people that could accidentally kill him, he continued being an onlooker, watching as things were to unfold, he would obviously help if his help was needed, but other than that. ..
  774.
  775. "Busted."
  776. (Eros)
  777.
  778. Adara quickly shot a glare over to Eros and said "Silence, Eros."
  779. (Adara Fiamma)
  780.
  781. You have 36 minutes left until your next check. You currently qualify for an RPP reward in the upcoming check!
  782.
  783. Only a brief glances goes to Jadrako, to which Atro's attention shifts to searching and sensing, though not knowing the fae too well.
  784.
  785. A frow crosses his features and Atro's right arm extends, giving out an order. "Block exits for if it has a thought to flee. You all know it better than us, feel it out." His eyes shift, more focused on Noxim's display.
  786. (Atro Gwyn)
  787.
  788. And from the shoulder of Amane, came the slowly appearing body of Ravan. They sat there, watching Zaruma as they...Floated past them and moved in front of Noxim? It seemed that from the way he said 'Come out', it was time for Ravan to actually reappear and fix this situation...With something.
  789.
  790. They gave a very light-hearted smile before giving a wave at the man staring at Noxim, "You're talking up a tree Zaruma, not me." They gave a pat to their friend Amane, the obviously terrified girl before flapping their wings a few times. Soon the dirt fae would simply be placed at eye-view to the Archon, looking them in the eyes.
  791.
  792. "I'm right here."
  793. (Ravan)
  794.
  795. Amane's expression would twitch; eyes narrowing at Zaruma as her jaw clenched, the staff in hand being held tight and tighter as the metal would grind against the silver and blue prosthetic. The weight on her shoulder, having been there from before, suddenly felt much heavier.
  796.
  797. An invisible weight. Eyes darted over to Aysel, a frown resting heavily on her face while her eyes stayed fearful and uncertain.
  798.
  799. It wasn't like she had LIED to Zaruma...Amane personally said she simply didn't want to fight. Easy.
  800.
  801. ..She knew it actually wasn't that easy. Had she of turned in the Fae immediately, maybe things would have went a bit differently but now trouble was here and it was uncertain how Ravan would react.
  802.
  803. And when Ravan flew away? She breathed a sigh of relief, stepping back again.
  804.
  805. Worried for the life of the Fae.
  806. (Amane Faoleng)
  807.
  808. You have 34 minutes left until your next check. You currently qualify for an RPP reward in the upcoming check!
  809.
  810.
  811. Arielle says, "...what in the fuck."
  812.
  813. Nyphadora exclaims, "How EXCITING!"
  814.
  815. Aysel says, "I don't know if 'exciting' is the word for this."
  816. Arielle eyes the situation, speechless. She's disheveled and worse for wear, hair knotted and untamed. She stares on speechless.
  817. (Arielle)
  818.
  819.
  820. Soliael Huitzilopochtli says, "< *looks at Arielle. :eyes:* >"
  821. The crimson hues abruptly turned to the source of Fae's sound; indeed, he knew that there was a source of Holy magic nearby, but it was a hard time detecting and pin-pointing the exact location of the Fairy among the crowd.
  822.
  823. Nonetheless, his presence was still felt, and very much palpable. Even if he did not speak out, it would be only a matter of time until Zaruma would be able to locate the source itself.
  824.
  825. The Archon was not amused. First, he attempted to have him ambushed alongside with the likes of Elizabeth, and now he was hiding away from Zaruma despite the words he said, despite the insults that he claimed to lay upon the Tempest's ears? It was unforgivable, cowardly. The presence of Archon was rising to tremendous levels, one that inspired awe and terror alike. It was the putrid hatred, the annoyance, the anger boiling inside the heart of Occult.
  826.
  827. "You-- you were quite a loudmouth with the Order magi at your side. But you resorted to hiding instead all along."
  828.
  829. The scythe was drawn. Looming closer to Ravan, the Archon's crimson eyes pierced his mind, his very soul as they stared down upon the Fairy. Much like the executioner approaching his victim, his presence was foreboding, one that could be compared to the rolling storm that could crush down on one's head at any given moment. And with newfound power, with that new strength that Archon possessed?
  830.
  831. It was all the better.
  832.
  833. "We'll see how much of a loudmouth you are when you stand alone before me."
  834.
  835. His gaze shifted just once towards volcano, if only to settle them back upon the Fairy. Determined to put an end to this conflict, be it through forcing Ravan to fall silent for once and for all or even ending his life, the Archon made no further delay to speak more.
  836.
  837. "We will either resolve this right here, infront of everyone, or I'm taking you with me to the volcano."
  838.
  839. "Take your pick."
  840. (Zaruma)
  841.
  842. Motionless, the white-haired one invigilated. Certain yellow orbs were enskied, unknown to a crowd of inquisitiveness. Such luminescent stare devolved into reactions, a natural movement of pure hatred towards the creature in evidence. Well, at least, regarding the information able to reach his ears.
  843.
  844. "I would like to warn you that you are not touching this fae, if Ravan doesn't wish to fight you." ceasing the lack of motion, footgear slap against the ground-- crimson shocks reverberating with every eye circumduction.
  845.
  846. The tones exuded seriousness, and some disdain for the Archon. "This is not Gaiar Aetherius. You are not able to exert your influence that far, Zaruma. A bounty over my face, despite not confirming it was you, is enough. Enough for me to retaliate every action. And, eventually, attacking people I consider allies?"
  847.
  848. Crepitation echo from the Elsyrean's body, advancing the carmine lightning orbitating the structure. The man's countenance morphed into one that simply didn't accept-- engaged completely into a vice. A desire to grow and, doubtlessly, to protect what one would consider his.
  849.
  850. Protect what he created. What he planned. What he desired.
  851.
  852. "So? What will it be?"
  853. (Caesar Valerius)
  854.
  855. Floating there, Ravan looked at Zaruma. They could feel the piercing eyes of Zaruma stabbing into their own, much smaller beady sights. Small fists clenched, tiny bits of dirt sprinkled off their body while with a simple beat of their wings they'd descend onto the ground.
  856.
  857. It was time to own up to their words, to their actions. Ravan now had to reap what they had sowed with Zaruma...Whether it be the man using his own scythe to do the reaping or not.
  858.
  859. "Thank you Caesar, you're a good friend...But This one will be up to me." Holding onto their fishing pole, they'd toss it to the side, sending its small form clattering and breaking upon the ground.
  860.
  861. "I'm good for doing this Zaruma, I don't wish to have the Soybeans involved in this, but I'll go on ahead and ask since I...Feel I have no chance against an Archon, would you be up for doing the Noxim challenge to me?" As Ravan spoke they turned to look at Caeser, then to the rest of the Soybeans, giving a light smile to all of them.
  862.
  863. Was this calm feeling they felt nearing them death in the face of the scythe? Possibly sacrifice for their own mistakes as to not have the Little Mame included in it all.
  864. (Ravan)
  865.
  866. Shrouded betwixt energies of zephyr and inferno, her physique whips through the air like the very thunderbolts Caesar commanded. Her usually pristine countenance is bedraggled at best, silken tresses twisted and lashed about wildly. She lands in a stumble, digits hooked about the opulent coatings of her hilt. The emerald whips out in a powerful crescent, serrated edge imploring Caesar's approach.
  867.
  868. Hissed undertones warn him.
  869.
  870. "Remember your place, Caesar," she spits, irate for reasons beyond this undesired gathering. Flames reverberate with every miniscule action. "And remember who commands this city."
  871.
  872. She is a barrier between opposition, weapon unwilling to show mercy this day. Dry ichor coats the edges, the toils of victims fallen to her weapon prior. Those violet optics speak of abhorrence, daring him to perpetuate the ordeal.
  873.
  874. "You will not interfere, nor will you presume to command or speak on behalf of my people. Stand down."
  875. (Arielle)
  876.
  877.
  878. Cho says, "< *ominously glows!* >"
  879. Aysel puts a hand against her forehead, slowly wiping her brow of sweat.
  880.
  881. She wasn't ready for today.
  882. (Aysel)
  883.
  884. Adara released a small growl as she looked around, she wondered if the fairy was attempting to request all the soybeans fight against Zaruma, as she wasn't sure what the 'Noxim challenge' is. Still waiting at the ready, Adara slowly licked her jagged teeth. Oh how she had started to hate this fairy, though Arielles interception did bring a slight smirk to her face.
  885. (Adara Fiamma)
  886.
  887. What was once a prepared staff, ready to fight was now one that was being placed into the ground for a support to lean on.
  888.
  889. Ravan had said their part, and she was thankful for it. Maybe no Soybean, herself or otherwise, would be harmed from this fight. They could stay out of it, and be safe.
  890.
  891. Maybe...
  892. (Amane Faoleng)
  893.
  894. Idiocy -- Constant idiocy.
  895.
  896. His lips pursed against one another as a glance was shot in the direction of this man. Flames beginning to burn along the edge of this blade as Arielle had made her approach. Action that would almost certainly shape their future for years to come depending on how each and every one of these growing warriors chose to react.
  897.
  898. "... I'll repeat once more, I await any orders from you Arielle should they be necessary." His words followed by a sharp nod of his head. Back straightening outwards to stand just slightly taller in the presence of those around them. They had far too much on their plate to truly handle those of both Gaiar and Ardent alike.
  899.
  900. "Ravan has made his choice to stand alone. No one is to interfere, that much I will make absolutely certain."
  901.
  902. This was a conflict not of cities, but of rivals who had taken to despising one another.
  903. (Lucan)
  904.
  905. Tom would be standing off to the side, his flight spell deactivated as he stood on his two feet and merely observed the situation. He fancied himself a Non-combatant so he'd not get involved, yet the Fisherman did manage to find some amusement from an Archon being so thin skinned it need fight a fairy.
  906.
  907. But some amusement and concern for the situation aside, he'd merely continue to observe. He had come to the settlement to meet with the queen about setting up a shop and was not expecting to stumble upon this situation.
  908. (Tom Layke)
  909.
  910. A guttural sigh escapes the beast's throat, one which shook the massive creature's form, showering foliage on his surroundings, whilst his eyes looked over the gathered crowd. Not a word was spoken as a thin link was forged telepathically to a certain man amongst the crowd.
  911.
  912. He remained a passive bystander whilst the crowd did the same, who knew what would happen should the situation deteriorate any further.
  913. (Noxim Florus)
  914.
  915. Noxim Florus whispers something.
  916.
  917. Caesar's voice was heard almost instantly the moment he showed up and decided to speak towards the Archon. A pair of crimson hues turned towards him instantly; Zaruma's voice was full of venom, almost hissing towards the man with putrid hatred in his voice. It was evident that he would not tolerate such thing.
  918.
  919. "You..." - the telepathic echo pierced Caesar's mind, just before he'd speak.
  920.
  921. "A traitor to Aetherius, attempting to tell me what I should do?"
  922.
  923. "Might I remind you, Caesar, that I injured you once in the past. I had you in my hands. Do not, do not push me into driving my scythe into your flesh once more."
  924.
  925. "This is not your conflict, do not make it yours. Ravan had attempted to ambush me, and for that, he will pay."
  926.
  927. "Yet, if you insist on fight- you can go fight Atro on my behalf. I will not let you interfere in my combat with Ravan."
  928.
  929. The gaze was suddenly shifted towards the Fae.
  930.
  931. He was unamused by such statement. A challenge to Noxim, instead? Did the Fairy really attempt to throw the Demon under the bus?
  932.
  933. "Oh? You don't think you stand a chance against me, Ravan?"
  934.
  935. "You should have thought about this earlier. You should not have attempted my life."
  936.
  937. Absolutely venomous in how he spoke, the Archon stared down the Fae with crimson hues that showed naught but disgust with the Fairy.
  938.
  939. "I'm losing my patience, Ravan."
  940.
  941. "This area, or volcano. If you do not pick, I will pick for you, instead."
  942. (Zaruma)
  943.
  944. Ravan's words were enough for the man's acceptance, ceasing the ruddy spectrum as calmness treaded his psyche. However, harmony diverged from the path, as Arielle's words morph his expression again.
  945.
  946. "You may try to find in my previous sentences where I commanded your army or your city. I have stated my desire to protect a member from this place. I have made a promise with you to protect this city, the members, and the word remains."
  947.
  948. Adding to the allocution, a nod confirms interest upon Noxim's utters. "If that's your wish, Arielle... so be it."
  949.
  950. Returning to taciturnity, the merchant ascends a white stick to his mouth.
  951. (Caesar Valerius)
  952.
  953. The Archon's wind of Fell was gathering around him, much like the deadly shroud that was threatening to cut any fabric of reality that comes in contact with us; his movement was becoming oddly smooth and liquid, much as if he was defying the friction and atmosphere itself.
  954.
  955. Those winds were pointed towards Ravan, for all intents and purposes. The Archon's image became barely visible, much as if he was almost transparent, instead creating several afterimages all around him - a proof to his newfound power, one that he would soon put to use.
  956.
  957. "Defend yourself now, Ravan."
  958.
  959. "There is no Order magi to back you up this time."
  960.
  961. The scythe was readied, and with a furrow of his brows, Zaruma stared down against Ravan. This could very well end in death, too.
  962. (Zaruma)
  963.
  964. The Fae would nod as colourful lights began flowing off their tiny body, their hands were raised upwards and a gritty voice spoke, "...Right here, lets do this Zaruma." However as the Fae turned they looked at Amane. Seeing the girl who was so obviously terrified just moments before, someone who they had put pressure on. They felt a whim to help them, to relieve their stress.
  965.
  966. So with little words spoken the Fae would pull a branch out of nowhere and place it within their hair.
  967.
  968. "This is a very special branch...I'm going to allow you to hold it while I fight, if this goes badly for me, take it." With that however they moved into place, to fight against Zaruma...While also bringing a vial up to their face and downing it, causing their skin to seemingly harden in strange ways.
  969. (Ravan)
  970.
  971. The Archon did no mistake of underestimating the fairy in such combat; even though his own potency should've been enough in order to overwhelm the fairy, after countless bouts with Nyphadora in practice, he knew one thing.
  972.
  973. Their magical prowess was foolish to ignore.
  974.
  975. That's why Zaruma had a lot of focus given towards efficiently chasing down the fae, all while keeping up the defences of Occult to shield himself from the strikes; and while Zaruma certainly took several hits from Ravan, ultimately, he was indeed overwhelmed by Zaruma's both raw power and combat prowess alike.
  976.
  977. Just as predicted.
  978.
  979. And for onlookers? The fight was seeming to be nearing it's end. Ravan was savaged in those Fell Winds, constantly sliced up bit by bit with the scythe's threatening image. One could even argue that Zaruma was barely seen in the fight - mostly, Ravan was hitting his afterimages, and considering that the Tempest had a habit of submerging himself into the winds, it was truly challenging to keep an eye on him.
  980.
  981. But the final blow was visible to all.
  982.
  983. A sudden slash of the scythe, one that immediately almost chopped the fae's lower half off, leaving a dangling, heavily damaged body; a terrifying power, combined with terrifying precision. Ravan was left bleeding out, at mercy of the Archon that stared him down with crimson hues.
  984.
  985. "Before you depart. Do you regret?"
  986.
  987. "Do you regret attempting my life? Betraying me, in the time of need? Abandoning what your friends fought for?"
  988.
  989. "In the end, do you regret it all, Ravan?"
  990. (Zaruma)
  991.
  992. It was the literal fight of Ravan's life, they rushed at Zaruma. Thrusting forth their usual tactics of attacks while also completely shielding their being at other times...However, it seemed that in the end for the Fae there was little they could do going against an Archon.
  993.
  994. They knew they weren't winning, that there was little to no true force in them that could fight against an Archon. In fact when they had just came to Agartha, Ravan was just aiming to fight against Kaors! There was no plan to fight an Archon and now...
  995.
  996. In the midst of being ready to grasp him, it was like the breeze attacked him when...A scythe went through their chest. Wings beat in the air strangely, however what was falling from the Fae was not dirt as per usual, but blood that was falling from their dangling bottom half.
  997.
  998. It coalesced together into a dirty bloody mess and Ravan's eyes looked straight into Zaruma's own, their face one of almost...Defiance? Acceptance? It would be a strange one for anyone to have with the amount of pain they were in.
  999.
1000. "Za-...zaruma...I regret...so much..." They spoke with bated breaths, each word slowly flowing out one after another by just the mercy of Zaruma.
  1001.
1002. "I...*cough*" Blood splattered from their mouth while their beady sights turned to look at the gathered crowd of people. There were friends, enemies, companions...All of which Ravan knew they would not be seeing for a while...he hoped.
  1003.
1004. "But...I regret...only having not fought...for my friends more..." For a moment their words seemed to grow clearer, a light-headed feeling filling the mind of Ravan.
  1005.
1006. Then suddenly...White filled their vision and bloody tears began flowing down their eyes while a weak hand reached outwards in the direction of Zaruma.
  1007.
1008. "M-...Mother...I'm...coming..." They saw the lifestream and within it, the spirit of Gossamer, an old fae friend. Soon...Their spirit entered the lifestream, to return to Mother Ygg and the body of Ravan would go limp and...Scatter apart, into a mess of blood and mud resting at the end of Zaruma's scythe.
  1009. (Ravan)
  1010.
1011. Adara carefully watched Zaruma dart around the battlefield, having watched some of those countless matches between Zaruma and Nyphadora, underestimating a fairy, could be quite the fatal mistake. A wide smile formed on her face, flames and lightning intertwining with one another jumping between her horns. There was nothing Adara enjoyed more than watching Zaruma in battle, and best of all, this one cut a fairy in half! Well, almost.
  1012.
1013. The Drakanite could feel her blood pounding in her ears, she had nearly forgotten everyone around her, watching the one you devoted your entire life to in a deadly battle would do that to a person, but as the battle ended she suddenly snapped back into reality and the smell of everyone rushed back to her.
  1014.
1015. Now, her eyes focused on the fairy. She could smell it's peculiar blood, it's life fleeting, though Adara liked Nyphadora, the life fading from Ravan brought her joy.
  1016.
1017. After it had ceased it's life Adara began to wonder if anyone would attempt to seek revenge for the fairy, should they try, Adara was ready to attack.
1018. Though as always, Adara wouldn't make a move without Zaruma's instruction, unless other actions warrented it. The ever faithful soldier.
  1019. (Adara Fiamma)
  1020.
1021. Well -- Expected all the same.
  1022.
1023. Blades clashed against the body of this Fae as it continued to push back against Zaruma. His attempts nothing more than pathetic all the same as with each powerful clash the ground practically shook against their combined might. This realization of how small they were in this world continuing to sink inwards as Ravan had accepted his beating.
  1024.
1025. "I-..." His words reduced to nothing but a memory as thoughts continued to cluster in his mind. Crimson irises focused upon Zaruma who had chosen to tower over this creature that had brought about his ire. This Archon that stood leagues above those that would even so much as dare to challenge his will all the same.
  1026.
  1027. Death.
  1028.
1029. That alone would soon embrace Ravan, this would become his final act. Slaughtered at the hands of a vile Archon.
  1030. (Lucan)
  1031.
1032. Tom would stand off to the side and observe the fight. At first he was amused, however as he observed the fight? Any sense of amusement he had quickly faded from him.
  1033.
1034. Instead he felt a grim sense of dread wash over him. An Archon fighting a fairy? It just felt wrong to him, one so powerful attacking one so small. Though to its credit, the fairy fought well all things considered.
  1035.
1036. "God damn..." He'd mutter quietly to himself. "Poor little guy." He'd shake his head.
1037. This whole situation just left a bad taste in his mouth, he almost felt an urge to step in but... well, Tom did enjoy living. He knew getting involved might put a halt to that quite quickly, and undeath just wouldn't suit him.
  1038.
1039. As Ravan died, Tom would look away. He'd go to depart, he could meet about setting up his shop at another time but he couldn't stand to be around this situation any further.
  1040. (Tom Layke)
  1041.
1042. It had escalated. He still didn't know what was going on, but from the looks of it. The invibsile, turned visible, fairy had stood up against Zaruma and somehow made him angry enough to make Zaruma find him and fight him. Well 'fight'.
  1043.
1044. The battle wasn't onesided, the fairy put up a nice fight, but in the end his efforts were for naught. Zaruma obviously proved to be the superior one and won. What he would do. . Well, that wasn't clear, but he doubted the fairy would come off with a warning.
  1045.
1046. "Well shit. I think that poor fella is gonna die." said Eros softly, only those close to him could hear. Hmm, he was most likely right. Or Zaruma would throw the switch on him and spare the creature, probably not. Luckily, he was on the sidelines and a neutral party at that.
  1047.
1048. If only the fairy made smarter choices in life and just immediately ran away, instead of turning invisible and hiding on Amane her shoulder. A bad idea for something that probably wasn't the smartest in the house.
  1049.
1050. And there. Dead. The fairy had died, just as he had expected. Eros shook his head, there was absolutely nothing he could do about this. The only thing he was able to do was shake his head.
  1051.
1052. "Well, well. Sad." said Eros. He then sighed. Why did people have to kill eachother just to flex and let their nuts hang?
  1053. (Eros)
  1054.

  1056.

  1082.
1083. You pick up Ravan's Personal Diary.
  1084.
  1085. Tom flies off
  1086. (Tom Layke)
  1087.
1088. Noxim stood on the sidelines, his frown deepening slightly at the sight of the small fae's immediate bifurcation. Despite all the odds, the small creature had no chance of besting the archon, the genetic superiority on display by the scythe-wielding monstrosity was enough to lay any rumors to rest.
  1089.
1090. The beast slowly clenched his hands into tight fists, fingers curling inwards with the subtle creak of wood warping. A brief flicker of occult magic flickered across his knuckles whilst sapphire eyes gazed not at the preoccupied Archon, but at the blonde Chaos Magi amongst the crowd.
  1091.
1092. There lay a simple and insignificant thought held within the Kaor's mind, a muted flash of rage bubbling in the back of his mind. It would be so easy...to get even. A long silent moment passed by, before he drew his gaze away from Atro, settling it back upon the sight of his newfound frustration, of the Archon standing in the middle of the field.
  1093.
1094. <fontcolor="#E6E6FA">"...Well, there we go. A single fae, even one of Ravan's stature is unable to face an Archon armed to the teeth. We're now all a little bit wiser for this display." he stated calmly with a voice of indifference, one of true apathy.
  1095.
1096. "...I'll keep this in mind as a lesson to be learned myself, should Gaiar attempt to come for me one day.</font
  1097.
1098. He felt irritation at the turn of events, a kindling rage at the situation, not for the archon which sought to demonstrate his power for his own whims. It was a rage that bubbled forth at the sight of the 'Allies' which so easily forfeited the fae over for their own sakes.
  1099.
1100. Demons were heartless as a result of Kraus' mistakes, Humans were heartless because they chose to be.
  1101. (Noxim Florus)
  1102.
1103. Dobson stuffs his hands in his coat as he pauses to watch on with slight interest. Keeping his distance, he cranes his neck to get a better look, though the significance of the moment is quite lost on him.
  1104. (Dobson McAlver)
  1105.
1106. The undead face was filled with grief as he watched the fae go down, he looked to Cho, but he already knew there was nothing he could do. Ravan was going to die and no one was going to help.
  1107.
  1108. "F-Fuck..."
  1109.
1110. MANLY tears fall from the undead's eyes as he shook his head in disbelief, what asshole would ever kill Ravan. Oh wait the Archon.
  1111.
1112. "..." No words. The Kumo removed his bow and bowed his head.
  1113. (JaDrako Kumo)
  1114.
1115. While the fight occurred, Atro had his attention more fixed on Noxim- and that gaze he saw he returned one brimming with anger. His teeth grind harsh, fingers flexing from palm to clenched, until he steps closers.
  1116.
  1117. The fae didn't matter...
1118. Only one part of it did.
  1119.
1120. He strides towards Noxim, with eyes narrowed and brows furrowed, gazing at the towering occultic tree, muttering word some low words with anger.
  1121. (Atro Gwyn)
  1122.
  1123. Dobson McAlver whispers something.
  1124.
  1125. Atro Gwyn whispers something.
  1126.
1127. The Archon stared down at the fairy that was at his mercy, no words spoken at first; his crimson eyes observed the struggling Fae that was living out its final breaths, its final memories, its final thoughts.
  1128.
1129. But in the end, he admitted to it - he regretted what he had done.
  1130.
1131. And while Zaruma was oft ruthless, cruel Lord of Aetherius that had shown no mercy to those that betrayed him- there was one last thing that he could do to Ravan. Despite his treachery, he did serve Aetherius, even if for some time.
  1132.
  1133. "--Very well."
  1134.
1135. His hand gently grasped Ravan's, one that was reaching out towards the Archon. Zaruma carefully picked up the injured Fae, feeling the blood of Lifestream dripping along the hands of Occult beast that he was.
  1136.
1137. And yet- he knew of humanity. He knew of what Fae felt.
  1138.
1139. He didn't like it, but he could understand. Perhaps in a different circumstance, if only there could be more understanding... but no, it wasn't meant to be.
  1140.
1141. "Pass on, Ravan. Let the gentle embrace take you."
  1142.
1143. Ravan could feel his life sapping away, his energy and essence being drained by Zaruma; it was a quiet, painful death, one that took away the suffering from the injuries he sustained.
  1144.
1145. The Fae could feel his body go numb, the cold, yet smooth dark enveloping him all around; everything in his vision blacked out- everything, but the pair of crimson eyes that remained upon him as Zaruma held Ravan in his palm.
  1146.
1147. "It's over... you can rest now."
  1148.
1149. A soft whisper of telepathy invaded Ravan's mind, and after that--
  1150.
1151. There was nothing. There was only darkness. His life energy was drained entirely by the Archon, leaving a lifeless body in his hands.
  1152.
  1153. Ravan was no more.
  1154. (Zaruma)
