Making a GIF from images in Photoshop - For Beginners

1. File > Automate > Load files into stack
2. <let it load>
3. Window > Timeline (make sure it's checked)
4. Click Timeline menu in the top right corner of it > Create frames from layers
5. Click Timeline menu > Reverse Frames
6. Click on the first frame > Use the scroll bar to move to the right > Shift+Click on the last frame
7. Click on the little arrow in the bottom right of any frame > Set animation time (click "other" to set a custom time)
8. Click the Play button in the bottom left to see how it looks
9. Repeat setting animation time as necessary (you can set times on individual frames, or even duplicate frames with the button next to the trash can)
10. File > Save for web
11. Choose GIF in the top right > Selective color > Transparency ON > Diffuse, choose what you think looks best
12. For amount of colors in the top right, choose 256 > look below the box of colors to see how many colors your GIF is actually using > reduce option until you are just above how many it is using (ex, if it uses 114 colors, choose 128)
13. Click Save, you're done!
14. If you want to save the photoshop file (in case you need to alter the GIF in the future), click File > Save > Save it as a .psd file (should be default)
15. Everything is saved (or not needed if you didn't save it) - You can close Photoshop
