Chelidon's Birth

The space the three small canines had been occupying in their mothers womb was growing smaller and today it was just a little too small for the cramped siblings. He began to wiggle against his sister and kick out against his brother, he was not happy being between the two feeling crushed. He could feel the two also kick and wiggle in their watery home which unknown to them was about to break.

Her ears flickered as she heard Aludin speak. "Stomach..." She whined. "Hurt does it." And then she felt a kick and she whined once more. Then suddenly she felt another large pain twist inside of her. Just then another two scents entered her nostrils. Zathura and Finch, she welcomed them inside because well she wanted Zathura's help with her being through it before. And then a voice she hadn't heard in ages entered her ears and she growled. As people started to arrive, the Brute wandered inwards from the role of doorman to see if Willow was holding up okay. Shit, he thought to himself, this was it. Being an Adverta wolf, he had never seen a birth as females were forced away from the Kingdom in order to do the 'deed'. As royals and nobles wandered in, a small confused frown was on his face - only accentuated as Adastros wandered closer. Before Aludin sauntered in to the den, he gave a gruff huff of air from his nose - so this was the male that Willow had to hire Aludin to take over from. As Willow spoke to him, he bent his nose down to check the stomach as he stood close to her, and watched as it contracted aggressively. "It's okay, Mi'Lady, everyone's here. We can find you a medic." His heart began to race, his golden eyes fixed on Willow - "Stay strong, you're doing great." That was, until, the disappearing male appeared behind him, and he turned to share the same expression Willow had. He knew he was of high standing, so he daren't speak out of place, but the silver male could not forgive such behaviour from a soon-to-be-father. @here(edited)

-Olive awoke with a startle; there was such a comotion next door that she was so concerned and hurried over. Whining, she shifted her weight on her paws behind the multiple wolves that had gathered and peeked inside. Something was happening, and she had never been present for any sort of birthing before, so this was new to her.-  "What's going on in here? Zathura Beastly - 04/21/2018
Entering the den with her sister, her chin was high and she ignored everyone, as her green gaze fell on Willow. Smiling softly, she rasped her tounge over the females head and murred softly. "Your doing great sweetheart, are you ready to be a mommy?" she smiled, then moved around to the females rear, where shed then sit. Looking at both males, eyes darting to willow and back, her nose wrinkled and exposed teeth in a soft growl. "Everyone, i'd appreciate you standing outside of the den." she demanded, knowing Willow needed her space right now. @here

Adastros Civic - 04/21/2018
As he smells scents and different scents, he feels overwhelmed and cannot figure out why. He listens to what she says before a growl. A growl he's not heard which makes him not enter. And now it's hitting him. She was pregnant yet never told him. He'd missed it all.  Never told, but hadnt been able to find her either. And now he's angered at hiself for not knowing. So outside the den he sits as he hears Zathura inside. He sees everyone else enter,  but doesn't. A loud grumble escapes him as he says nothing bc he knows hes in the wrong. The trio fell silent for a moment feeling comfortable where they were luckily. The pup could feel the anger of his mothers snap and kicked out causing the muscles to retaliate, the tensing muscles squeezed around him and his wombmates. He hates this new tensing and contracting it was rather annoying and he wished it would let up.

Her eyes flashed from one wolf to the other, her mind was swirling. She just wanted her mother... "Alder... Mum..." She whined softly, the tone showed how heart broken she was over her mothers behaviours.  Thats all she wanted was her mother and the one time willow really needed her she wasn't there. It broke her little heart even more. "I think..." She nodded to Zathura then her sister entered and she yipped. "Stay, Olive, please. Go no no." Her ears pinned to her head as she gritted her teeth, a growl and she pushed the pain down, and then her body instinctively started to push the start of the first one out (Tzila). Aludin Valor - 04/21/2018
Gruffly, he turned to push everyone out of the den via Zathura's orders - if he wanted to be a knight, it wouldn't hurt enforcing the orders of his superiors. "You heard the Princess, make room." His eyes stern and his shoulders brought forward to begin walking out, he glanced behind him briefly, "We're all here for you, Willow." As he did so, he watched as a sweet little thing was born in to the world, and his eyes lit up with wonder and his heart burst with a second-hand pride, but he could not glance long and turned back towards the light. Then, having followed everyone out of the den, he stood guard across the entrance and glanced at all the familiar faces collecting before him. @here(edited)

Hearing Willow request that she stay, Olive hurried into the den and sat at her sister's side. With a smile, she nuzzled her nose into her cheek furs and licked her ear soothingly before speaking.-  "I'm here now, sister. Smiling,she turned her attention to Olive. "Come in, she wishes you by her side." Turning a threatening gaze to the male Aludin, and even Adastros, her head lowered slightly as she watched Aludin usher the rest outside. As Willow whined again, Zathura's eyes fell on her belly, counting in seconds how long between every tensing of muscles, every contraction. "You'll know when you need to-" but her body knew what to do, as it began preparing to deliver Willow's first born. Finch remained at Willows face, encouraging her best friend along with Olive. Zathura lay down, pulling a bit of moss closs to her to lay the pups on to clean them as they came. The first pup was nearly here, causing Zathura's tail to wag. "Thats it, here comes the first born!" she informed Willow, but audible enough for those outside to be updated as well. @here

Her head nodded to Aludin. Him and Adastros now outside, her tail flicked and she looked at Olive with slightly panicked eyes. "Alder.." She mumbled once more more sadness tinging the tone of Willows voice. "Yes.." She then shook herself out of that mind set, her mother wasn't coming. But her best friends and sister were by her side, that was just as good if not better. Upon hearing Zathura that the first pup was coming, Willow tensed her teeth once more and pushed a few more times until the first pup was out. She breathed slightly, there was a slight bit of time until another contraction came along and told her to start pushing one more.- @here

He lost the touch of his sister on his back, something warm and loving. He was unsure what happened his own watery home not yet broken. He was not ready to come into the world a small protest happening as he kicked out and flipped wildly. He wanted to know where his sister was, although he knew his brother was there which comforted the pup.

Adastros Civic - 04/21/2018
Silence. That was all the male could do. As he paces about busily back and forth, he  wonders where her mother is. See Ada's been MIA and has no idea what has happened in his absence. But something feels wrong. As he looks at the male, he keeps a guarded expression as he listens to what he says. He ignores it and gathers by the den closely as he paces outside. To give his mate space with her sister and Zathura he nervously keeps at the pace. This is the most you will ever see him as a wreck.  Never before had he expected it. He always liked pups and couldn't wait to start his own litter, but he hadn't been told which made him feel bad since she was doing this herself.

As he listens to what is said inside, he listens. Hearing Zathura talk about their first born coming he breathes more heavily as he paces faster. A child has been born. WOO Then he notices that there's more and he continues to pace as he listens to Zath narrate.  He listens from outside to the birthing and grits his teeth as he forces himself not to go in. He's more concerned about whom is outside and eyes them subtly with threats. An instinct he has right now and tries to follow. THERES THIS NEW DUDE OUTSIDE HIS MATES DEN AND HES AGIGATTED BC LOOKY WHAT HE HAS MISSED. sobs- @here

Aludin stared down at Adastros - it was clear that the father was beyond anxious, and so he should be - with those pups out of her, Willow was sure to kick his ass to the dust. His wide shoulders rolled as he prepared himself for what could be Ada rushing him in order to try and get in - he'd have a battle on his hands with Aludin, that was for sure. The male considered how the future would be with those pups - he had never gotten used to being around youths, but he knew that these were potentially his new kin, and a warmness spread through his body - was this, pride? With Aludin, of course it was. The brute listened intently to every sound and exclamation that came from the den, his ears perked high upon his crown and his tail gently waving at his heels as the excitement was running down his spine. The energy was almost electric, but he could feel and underlying silence of apprehension and worry. @here(edited)

A sad sigh left her as it was clear that their mother would not be coming, but she was more than prepared to protect and care for her sister during this birth.-  "I know she isn't here, but we can tell her all about it once these pups arrive."  -She said right as one of the pups decided to make their grand entrance. Oh my! A gasp left her jaws as she smiled with pure joy and barked happily, only to be clueless about what to do. Zathura Beastly - 04/21/2018
As Willow did her duty, a plump, multihued pup fell from her mother. Using her teeth to open the sac of mucus the pup had lived on, Zathura worked to severe the cord that bonded them as one, lick and clean her, and set her t Willows belly to nurse. "A beautiful younge lady, Miss Willow" she told the new mother as her sister, and Willows own sister comforted and gushed over her. Zathura watched them silently, but proudly. It had only been Mendax there for her own pups, but still she smiled. Eyes darting out of the entrance, she squinted sftly as her empathic powers told her of the agitation outside. She'd go out there, so help their souls. And they would not like it. Returning her Attention to Willow, she nodded, and stood. Poking outside, she smiled sweetly. "We have our first puppy! A flawless young lass. Now, someone go and fetch me water, and more dry moss." she looked at everyone, one brow arched as she looked at Ada, sensing his agitation. "Would you be a dear, Adastros?" she only thought it best the father to help. "Water and moss, please?". Her eyes shot back to Aludin with a strange look, like "behave" as if she knew what it was all about. Slipping back inside of the den, she awaited the next pup. Smiling to Olive, she nodded. "Just keep her calm, sweetheart. She's doing all the work herself like a good Mother. I sent the guys for water, they should be back soon and then miss Willow can have a drink" she smiled and moved her gaze to willow, pride swellingin her. Adastros Civic - 04/21/2018
As he looks at the male he ignores him, but when he sees him preparing he shoots his idea down. "I'm not doing anything rash, so don't move you're distracting me." He grumbles out at the male as he paces about. As he hears his name, he nods. He silently disappears as he goes to find the perfect moss and water for his mate. Their dens both had moss, so he knew where to find some good ones. As he fishes for moss and water he makes two trips. On the first trip, he brings back the moss.

As he sits at the entrance he waits and drops it still not sure if he should be entering knowing that he seems to be in trouble with his mate. As he treads carefully, he looks at Olive and points to the moss before he turns and goes back out grabbing a bowl and to fill some water. As he reaches a nearby stream, he fills it quickly and returns to the den once more. He leaves the bowl of water at the entrance too. Still unsure if he should enter. He keeps the space she needs.- @here e

Chelidon Civic - 04/21/2018
The pup was upset he didn't like his sister being gone and he didn't like- the pup was cut short a tantrum as the clenching muscle started to move him down the way his sister had gone. He didn't like this new feeling getting squeezed and moved the liquid he had been bobbing in for months was now gone. He was starting to get chilly and rather nervous, he was feeling alone without his warm siblings. @here(edited)

Her ears flicked at the two males outside and all Willow did was roll her eyes. Idiots, males, typical. It made her smirk through.  "Excite? Be she? No last time..." She whined and Willow didn't really say much else as she heard she had a daughter! Instant pride and love swelled over the female, green eyes connected to the tawny female, such adoration was held in her eyes as she looked down at her daughter. She smiled ever so softly, but then that was soon disturbed  by another pain and her body pushing once more. Flickering her tail, the female pinned her head. Pushing this one out wasn't as easy as the first, and took several more pushes that started to make Willow out of breath. She pushed onwards and then eventually she had given birth to her first male pup! (Chelidon).-

Tzila -- Her world was turned upside down, one moment she was with her siblings, nice and warm inside this dark place. And next minute she was freezing cold! In this new place, so many new scents and weird sounds. What were they all. She started to scream, why was she screaming what for? Oh she didn't like this wolf who was cleaning her. Get off! She growled to herself, but then she smell of some delicious entered her nostrils. Oh yes... This smelt good. She grappled onto her mother and started to suckle. Whatever this liquid was, it was so damn nice! And her mother, was it? Yes that voice she recognised it. And she stopped suckling when she heard her mother, she was happy, warm and now getting fed.- @here

Aludin Valor - 04/21/2018
Aludin's heart leapt as he heard Olive's voice from inside the den - he did not have time to register that she was here, but he knew how proud she must be. The ex-Knight did not give the father the satisfaction of a response, as he knew it was all the anxiety talking and it wasn't worth it for either of them to start shit, but raised a brow down at him, as if to expertly wave his comments off. Cracking his neck as he tried to loosen himself up, now as everything seemed to be going all according to plan, he spotted Zathura's head peak out from the hole in which he stood across, as if she were peaking out of his fur itself. Aludin would never leave his post for the world, and so shared the same glance that the Princess gave to the crowd outside, especially Adastros. Once the male left to help out his mate, he gazed down at the Princess and knew that look she gave him - a familiar look across his time here, and one he would not take lightly. He continued to relax a little more as she vanished back in to the den. His stance proud and his tail wagging a little harder, he knew more pups were on the way.  @here

Zathura Beastly - 04/21/2018
As Adastros did as he was told, and Alduin seemed to understand her silent warning, she was back focousing on Willow as the second pup proofed to be a little stubborn. Letting Olive and Finch give Willow water and helped to cool her down, Zathura was at work on the rear end, speaking to the puppy trying to coax it out. "C'mon, just a little further little one." she coaxe, and then there were tiny paws out first, not the snout as it should've been. gently taking a limb in her jaws, she gave gentle tugs to help the little male free from his mother. "Your first son, Willow." Cleaning the pup with gentle raspy licks, she took him in her jaws gingerly and placed him next to his sister. Settling back behind Willow, she set about licking the blood and mucus from her furs, so it would not matt and used the mossto place near her tail, to soak some of the after births up to keep it from soaking the den floor too badly. "You're doing great!" she smiled softly, and glanced to the entrance again to make sure it was clear. Adastros sat in the entrace, but not quite in the den. Offering him a smile, she then took her attention to his mate, her own friend. From the size of Willow's belly, surely there was not many puppies to go before she could then rest. @here

Adastros Civic - 04/21/2018
As Zath gives him the okay, he takes the product needed and sets them by her. As he sees the pup squirming to their mother, he smiels in awe. "Willow.. I'm sorry I never knew. I'll be here now for you." He whispers as he watches all the hard work being done. He keeps a distance from the pups knowing that Willow would be overprotective and he felt he had no right until she gave him permission. As he watches her with soft eyes, his tail waves happily. They'd talked about names for their pups and he knew the first pup would be Tzila. As Zath announced their son, he saw the blackness and he knew exactly that this was the Chelidon. Ada was amazed. As he smiled back to Zath, he made sure to follow her command and help with whatever he could.- @here

As the puppys feet started freezing he was in protest kicking out, the grasp on his foot made him wiggle and as soon as the sack was removed from his he was crying. Loud yowls rolling from his powerful lungs protesting against this cold world and the licks of the tongue. His yowling quieted as he was placed near something warm, this thing smelled inviting and loving. His mother, it was an instant bond his head shaking as he shifted it trying to latch on. He was unable to at first struggling slightly and gave a protesting grunt before he was able to latch successfully. He could feel the warm liquid rolling down his throat and with satisfied grunts he felt a little more content with this new world.

Hearing more yips of her first son, her tail thumped behind her. A black pup she smiled softly down at him, she instantly knew this ones name. Oh yes, but she wouldn't announce names until they were all out and she could breathe a little bit. Her nose gently nudged her daughter and son, such pride welled up inside of Willow. She was a mother... Wow. "Thank.." She said rather raspy some of that water she lapped up and then she frowned. A growl emitted from Willow, this one hurt. Why did it hurt so much. She whined in nerves, oh no.. Please no.. Everything was going right! This couldn't be happening! Her mind swarmed with such anxiety. She knew her families fate of births... She growled once more in pain. And then started to push as hard as she could. But this wasn't going to be an easy last ride.-

Tzila -- Happily suckling she then felt something by the side of her, she recognised this scent. Her brother, as he wriggled into her space she grunted and gave him a little nudge to ensure he wasn't going to steal her food! (short tehe).- @here(edited)

Having stepped to the side slightly to allow the father in on the okay of Zath, he huffed gently, hoping that Adastros knew how lucky he was considering his disappearing act. His toughness seem to dissolve as small cries and whimpers came echoing up from the den below. His eyes turned soft and his his legs wanted to turn around and take in the newcomers to the Kingdom with a large welcoming smile - but that wasn't his job. He was a guard, and so kept his gaze upon the treeline. No one would touch Willow or those pups, not on his watch. @here

-Olive cooed softly and licked Willow's cheek encouragingly, hoping to ease some of the anxiety and pain that her sister was obviously in.-  "You're doing amazing! It will be alright, do not worry Willow!"  -She said as she watched the two newborns fondly.-  @here

Due to the complications that had arisen with Ellie, he was out and about when his niece was experiencing excruciating contractions. The commotion had stirred quite rapidly, and upon instinct, he had staggered towards the outer entrance to Willow's sanctuary. He was aware of her pregnancy, but since he wasn't informed of the event—he didn't know if she was actually giving birth to the litter of three or if she was having other complications. Arriving, he had noticed multiple residents outside of the homestead—one being Adastros. Nearing him at once, the medic apprentice bobbed his skull in greeting to his brother-in-law. "Hello, Adastros. What's going on? Is Willow okay?" He wondered, worry evident in his tone as he questioned her husband. @Adastros Civic @Willow Civic @Zathura Beastly @Chelidon Civic @Olive Kober

Adastros Civic - 04/21/2018
"Hello Barend!" He sees the male excitedly enter and allows him since he is family. He tells him the situation about what's going on with his neice. "Willow's fine, but it seems this last pup is playing games and trying to be late." He frowns as he tells him about how the first two have arrived and now they're waiting on the last one to finally show up. Hes not sure what else he could do, but he's brought the supplies and stays back as he looks at the other wolves in the den.- @Barend Kober(edited)

He felt his sister nudge against him and he made a disgruntled noise before kicking his foot out at the annoying sister. He didn't know why she was being so fussy moving his body away from her with humph as he kept eating his tiny ears almost dancing on his head. Being born blind and deaf is no fun, especially because the whole world is against you right from day one his tiny body shuddering with use of muscles he didn't even know he had.

The width of his pupils would bolster at the mention of the birth, and he would pursuit the interior of the sanctuary with paced steps. At first glance, he saw Willow, Olive, and Zathura. "Oh, Willow!" He exclaimed, eyes frantic as they searched for thr herbal-like material that Adastros had mentioned seconds prior to his entrance. "Are you okay? What hurts?" He began his entourage of questions once more while he examined her. The newborns that were crowding her belly seemed unscathed and healthy, so his nerves were alleviated somewhat—but he then recalled about the third and final offspring. At that, he'd exchange a reasonable glance of apprehension with Zathura. "The third pup hasn't been delivered yet?" Ear flicking to a new voice outside, panic struck her but outwardly she remained calm. So many males, it was driving Zathura's motherly instincts mad! Grumbling to her self, she moved to dab illows head with wet moss, before taking her place to await the last puppy. Squinting at Barend, she sounded polite but her expression was pure annoyance. "He is not ready yet." was all she said, and shifted on her paws to draw closer to willow in a protective manner. @here

Word was quick to spread that Willow had finally given birth. With s mixture of nerves and anxiousness overwhelming him, the large male was  quick to make his way to the kingdom. His hefty paws carried him swiftly and briskly despite the lack of food. His tail wagged softly behind as he finally come to the entrance. “Willow?” He called, his sole amber eye searching the fellow wolves around him including his son. He gave him a fairly stern look before turning to his step daughter and his new... grandchildren. The word still felt foreign but then again, Lothar was getting oldddd. “Told you I would be here for you.” Softly he nudged Willow, making his move gentle while taking look at the little ones. “Beautiful.” @Willow Civic @here

She listened to all the reassuring comments from her family, her friends. Then Barend entered but she didn't say anything. Instead she just pushed through the pain, a whine pinned her ears to her skull. Looking at Zathura she knew she was only being protective around the males but she trusted Barend, her uncle. The medic apprentice. "Stomach.." She whined at him, her teeth gritted and then Lothar entered. "Thankyou..." She nodded to him. Willow continued to push through the pain, for a long while it looked like it wasn't going well. (time skipping a bit here as want to get birth done with.) But soon enough with the last distressed push Willow had given birth to her final pup. Another male. Her stomach heaved with deep breathes, and she was slowly starting to regain herself. At that point when she was settled, her pups were nursing she invited all to come closer. "Hear who names?!" She yipped tiredly but also rather excited.- @here

Finch Beastly - 04/21/2018
Already present in the den, Finch ran her tongue over Cheildon, then Tzila, then Willow her self.- "You're a mum now!!"- She squealed in childish excitment, her tail swaying behind her. She glanced over her shoulder at Zathura, a lopsided large grin on her face, then back to Willow and her pups, lowering her body insitctually in front of her. Her paws overlapped Willows, and her face was close to hers as she made a "circle' or sorts around the pups with their legs.-

Having noticed the physician heading his way, he dipped his head respectfully and side-stepped to allow the male through. Aludin flickered his ears backward to listen to Ada explain what was going on, and a small pang of panic ran through his system, and he instantly began praying to his own Gods. Mumbling, making sure no one would question how such a wolf could still believe in spirits and Gods, he begged "please let them live," his golden gazed raised to the heavens, "I will lay down my life for all of these souls, but make sure they are watched over in my place." He was never one to plead or lay down the life of his own for others, but something had gotten to the male, and his heart felt softer than ever before. Upon hearing the names were about to be announced, he broke his stance and quickly glanced inside to the scene before him. The pups all looked healthy, and the females were taking good care of them, much to his delight. His eyes wide and a large smile across his maw, he couldn't believe how proud he was of Willow and every single one of her children. @here

Zathura Beastly - 04/21/2018
As Willow did the thing, Zathura was quick to release the late male pup from his prison of mucus, and severe the cord again. Licking him clean, her eyes traced him as they did the others, and she smiled as she placed him with his siblings, nudging him to suckle. "All done, Mama" she said with a tired grin, throwing her sister a wink. The excitment rolled off of Finch, and made Zathura feel bitter sweet. Running a few licks over Willows frame, cleaning her rear from the child birth, she sighed deeply " I am so proud of you. I will go fetch something for you to eat love" And with that, she exited the den with a royal air of attitude and joy, brushing passed anyone who did not clear the way for her. Breaking into a lope, she arrived to the butchers den in mere minutes, nosing through the females stockpile without a care. Finding the freshest meat she could; the very rabbit she and Mendax had hunted together, she took the entire thing, leaving the correct amount of pebbles on the ground. Loping back, she apparoached with an intense stare, fur bristling slightly at the collection of wolves at Willows den. Eyeing them in obvious anxiety, she slipped inside just long enough to plop the hare in front of Willow, and give her a soft nuzzle. Wordlessly then, she left the den again and walked just outside of the den, ready to jump and maul anyone who dared go after the newborns, and where she'd sit and groom herself in solitude. @here(edited)

He knows the history of the Kober's from what he's experienced and been told, so he hopes that his pups will fight for their lives and as he looks he notices that they do. He waits and finall his third child is born and now the names are to be announced. He sits back and rocks on edge as he listens to the people in the den.

Shinwu
As he stills in the womb, the presence of his siblings leave. Out into the real world they have gone, but this pup is still sitting inside Willow's womb as he has yet to make his entrance to the real world. For now, he sucks more of the nutrients than his siblings got. As time passes he kicks about eagerly trying to find the canal to leave. Adastros is late to the party, however, as he cannot find the entrance but doesn't give up. Then he finally finds that entrance he is seeking. As he slides with a plasmic membrane wrapped around him he comes sliding easily out of the hole as he gets birthed. Once his sac his removed, he finds himself going for the closest heat source which would be his mother. As he squirms he feels two small things as he feels his way. Climbing on them, he cant find a teet which causes him to whine. Then he maneuvers around a bit before he falls off of Chelidon and FINALLY he has found a free teat. Voracious action his small mouth latches and he sucks furiously.- @here

At Willow's instructions, he would notice that the distension of her abdomen—she was swollen. Half-interested with Zathura's attitude at a nerve-racking time like this, he focused primarily on his niece. "You have pain?" Mendax's pupil inquired while passing her a bundle of lavender to soothe the wrenching discomfort that was claiming Willow's entire figurine. Fast forward Time had passed, and before they could count to ten—Willow and Adastros' remaining son had entered the realm of Northbound. "It's a boy!" Barend cheered, tail flagging along his rear. "Congratulations, love." He whispered to his niece while supplying her with a celebratory lick. @here

Seeing the last little one finally be born, he couldn’t but allow his tail to wag behind him. But the thought still plagued him that Alder wasn’t here. Not that she really was herself anyways but just having her beside him would make things just a little bit better. Giving his step daughter one last nuzzle, he turned to Adastros, “Come outside with me. Now.” With his tone stern the large timber male made his way out of the den before turning and awaiting his son as he exited. @Adastros Civic @here

She took the lavender from Barend, and even used it after she had birthed all of her pups to help settle the pain that still loomed in her stomach. Willow dipped her head in thanks to her uncle. Her tail thumped behind her and smiled at Finch. "Yes!" She barked in excitement watched as she made a circle around the other side of the pups so they were between both her and Finch. Hearing that she was all done she smiled so brightly, the green eyes shone down upon the pups and she glanced at Adastros in the distance. Yes she was annoyed at him, but he was the father and she'd honour the name he wanted for his son. And she knew which son that would be, the one that looked like the mix of them both. She only hoped he'd agree with the name upon that particular pup. "Thankyou.." She ushered towards Zathura, and once she dropped the meat and left, Willow knew why and she knew once the others had left, the princess would return to her side. She awaited everyone to go silent and then she cleared her throat. "Lothar wait!" She yipped to him and requested his presence to return.

Her nose nudged the only daughter she had given birth to. "Is this, Tzila. Daughter mine." She said with so much pride, and love in her eyes. The adoration for her pups was clear to anyone who just looked at Willow's little face. She then turned her nose to the black pup, and smiled softly. As she spoke of his name, her green eyes would remain locked onto Finch. "This, Chelidon. Swallow mean it. Honour in of Finch, best friend mine." A beaming smile flashed to the other female and then she glanced around her den before finally getting to her last pup. "Adastros, mix perfect of both." And with her concluding the name she was glad that she didn't follow the typical Kober fate.- @here

Her heart swelled in pride of the pups name, and of Willow. She remembered that night that Willow was worried she wouldnt be a good mother. Finch knew it was wrong. She pressed her forehead against Willows cheek, and then rasped her tongue over each pup individually. When she licked Tzila, the small figure emitted a bark of protest. She was fiesty that was for sure. Finch looked at Willow, cracking a grin.- @here

Having been shoved around and shouldered in to, Aludin's heart grew a little colder - sure, he was the new wolf in the Kingdom, but was a little respect too much to ask? He huffed, hearing Lothar demand someone outside, and he finally got a heads-up to stand aside for the Grand Duke. However, he turned again to hear the names - each of them unusual and mis-matched, but seemed to fit each individual pup that she had nestled up to her. He made sure to burn the names to memory, as he would have to learn them fast, judging by how rambunctious they were already, putting a proud smile on his face - they were sure to be little terrors to their uncle Aludin. He was excited for the future for one shining moment - he would be this family's primary source of protection and guarding, and he was now dedicated to his title unabashedly.  Noticing that Zath was now outside and attempting to take his place, he simply let her, and wandered over to find anything he could adorn Willow with as a gift for her hard work and to show his respect for her struggles. @here

After the names of the pups were revealed, he saw his adoptive father come and ask for him. He quietly followed after. He knew he would be in trouble as he’d sort of gone MIA for two months. After the sickness and he’d taken the brew, he’d headed to the special place. Once he was recuperated and all he’d finally headed down and back into town. He attended to things he missed and had looked for Willow but didn’t find her. Because of what happened he knew she must be mad at him and he was mad at himself too since he arrived too late. And it made him mad, so he knew what Lothar was going to say. And he’d follow whatever the male said. He’d be there for his pups unlike how he wasn’t there for Willow.- @Lothar Hendrick

Watching his son follow him, he heaved a sigh of relief as at least one of his children still listened. “I can tell you already know what I’m going to say but I’m still going to say.” Rolling his shoulders back, standing a little taller, his sole eye settled onto the male before him. “You need to be there for her. Alder is under the weather at the moment and she needs someone. She needs you and I better not see you run away like you have during her pregnancy. Be there for you and your children.” He ended his nod with a quick nod before giving his son a gentle nudge. “I’ve missed you son. Now get back in there and comfort her.” @Adastros Civic

She pressed her head softly into Finch her tail wagged behind her. Now her den was slowly emptying and it seemed Lothar had a few words to say to Adastros. She'd let him after all she was too tired to say anything to her mate for now. Chomping down upon the food she glanced at Tzila who seemed to protest when Adastros moved over her and even when Finch licked her. She giggled. "Feisty." Saying to her best friend. "Handful be she, I see." Giggling softly she watched as Chelidon seemed to knock out into sleep whilst the other two still suckled and grunted. The nerves had settled, she was fine and as were they. Opting to lie down outside, her chin rested over her bloodied paws. Her head pounded, and inside she felt a deep irritation. But, hearing Willow name her little ones, a soft smile found her lips before she stood and began to walk off alone. Her mind wanderd everywhere, and honastly, she felt lonely again. Silently she slipped into the woods until she came across a large rock, where she should climb onto it and lay, limbs dangling off the sides as she watched Willows den from the treeline, seeing but unseen. @here

“ I didn’t run away, but your right father. I do have a responsibility.” He nods his head to Lothar. As he wonders what he means about Alder, he doesn’t ask. He knows what he is saying. “I will never leave her intentionally.” He told his father. Nodding he turns and bounds inside. He knows Dinch is still in here and he is weary of the Queen. He has no excuse where he’s been, but recuperating and he knows everyone is mad at him. But he swears he will atone and amend for everything. As he enters he hears Willow giggling and watches as Tzila squeaks in protest. He looks at the tiny babies and smiles. As he heads closer, he sits nearby Willow but with some space left in between them. He’d allow her to be angry since he was at fault. Right now all he wanted to do was comfort her and tell her he’d be there for her.- @here

Watching as Finch retreated to go do her duties she nodded. Willow was left with her pups until she heard footsteps. She glared at Adastros. And only spoke three words. "Where been you?" She asked with a huff, her tail curled around her pups, she wasn't blocking him from them but until this conversation was done she wasn't the most welcoming mother to the father. “Recuperating. I just got back, but that is no excuse. After the brew, I thought I was better so I headed to the secret spot and I ended up pretty weak. Jonghyun followed and fed me with what he could, but I hadn’t been able to move. I am sorry you had to deal with all on your own, had I known I would’ve come earlier despite my health.” He looked down ashamed. He knew she was mad, but he would do anything to make sure she wasn’t mad anymore. She didn’t have to forgive him because he would never forgive himself, but he wanted her to be happy. “Do you need any food? Any water? He smiled. At least at the moment she didn’t need anything because he didn’t want to leave. After a while it seemed she understood, but was still mad which he allowed because he would be too. Well he is. As she became more inviting he dropped down and watched the small puppies squirm about helplessly. They were so cute and small. He loved them already despite not knowing about them until today. As he watches in awe he coos. “Willow THEYRE so beautiful. She chuckled ever so softly. "They are..." She stared down at them and then she frowned what was he saying thankyou for? Shrugging slightly she then rolled her shoulders back, returning the lick on the muzzle. All this birthing and excitement, everything had worn Willow out. As she passed out, he kept watch over her and the pups. She needed her rest and he could stand to watch over his now complete family. The pups and his mate were the most valued and he’d work hard to get back into good graces. Cooling up next to them he watches the smol beans suckle and rest .- @Willow Civic
