- [divbox=gray]General Questions[/divbox]
- 1. Define what a ghoul is from a metaphysical and biological standpoint.
- A ghoul is a servant of a vampire. When a vampire see potential in someone and they want this person in their own pocket they could turn that person into a Ghoul. In order to do that the vampire needs to let that person (or animal) drink a tiny bit of his blood.
- Once you take the first drink you become blood bonded, there are 3 levels of blood bond (which are elaborated in the question below). The higher the level of the bond the more mental influence the vampire has over the ghoul.
- Once you become a ghoul you stop aging, your biological clock simply freeze and you stay young and pretty. However, when a ghoul stops drinking he'd keep aging from the point he stopped drinking. If the ghoul is between 100 to 250 years old they could find themselves in troubles since their biological clock would go 10 times faster than the usual, a year turns to a decade, and a decade turns to a century. Ghouls who are over 250 years old would crumble to dust on the place.
- 2. Briefly define the terms Sect, Clan & Bloodline. How do either of those affect a Ghoul?
- Sect determines the "political view" of the kindred, the main Sect is the Camarilla which is known to be the upper hand. They have formed and enforce the Traditions which were made to protect the kindred society and keep it underground.
- There are other sects as well such as the Anarchs who believes in freedom and equality, they simply loathe the idea of bowing down to a sublime Ventrue-ass prince that would tell them what to do simply because he is "older".
- There's also the Sabbat, who are the main enemy of the Camarilla.
- 3. Define the difference between Vassals Ghouls, Independnet Ghouls and Revenants.
- Vassal ghouls are the "regular" ghouls, which are loyal to their sire and would do anything for them. They might feel true love towards their domitor, true passion they might not know why, but they definitely wouldn't want to stop the supply of the vitae they get after they see the difference in their life.
- Independent ghouls are uncontrollable domitor-less ghouls. They're usually "orphans", their sire have died and the enemies wouldn't care much to let the small fishes run away. They would ask for vitae from random cainties (probably in return for doing something) but they're literally independent and does not belong to anyone. The kindred society find it hard to trust such kind of ghouls.
- Revenants are the ghouls who can reproduce their own viate which keeps them alive for centuries, they're something between mortal to a vampire, a kind of a hybrid. They do age but in a much slower rate than a regular human and they can live for centuries.
- 4. What is a Discipline? What other benefits or powers does your character gain by becoming a ghoul?
- Disciplines are the powers of the Cainties, each clan (or bloodline) has its own set of disciplines (3) that'd fit the concept of the clan. For example the Tremeres are known as the vampire-mages, their main and unique discipline is Thaumaturgy, which definitely fits their concept because it lets them cast blood-magic. Another example would be the Gangrel, Gangrels are known to be the closest to the wild and nature, therefore they have a unique discipline called Protean that would let them grow feral claws, shapeshift into animals and so on. They also got Animalism discipline which has similar uses such as feral whispers, summoning animals etc...
- When you become a ghoul you begin with 1 dot of Potence (which is physical strength discipline) which you learn instinctively and immediately. You also get another dot in another discipline which should be chosen according to your character concept.
- 5. Explain how the Blood Bond system works and how it affects your character?
- Blood bond is the bond that is created upon drinking the vitae of a kindred. It has 3 bond levels that'd increase each time you drink the blood. The stronger the bond, the greater the emotional hold the kindred has over the bonded.
- At the first level the drinker would think constantly of the kindred, or might appear "accidentally" at the places the kindred might pop up. All of the kindred "suffer" from this bond level to their sire.
- Second level would already influence the behavior of the drinker, it would also give them hard time to harm their domitor.
- The third level would be the full bond, it would make the domitor the most important person in the drinker's life and definitely the first priority.
- 6. What is the veil and the importance of supernatural secrecy?
- When you reveal supernatural powers around you draw a lot of attention and that could lead to terrible situations. The worse case would be when you reveal your supernatural powers in public and if there's a hunter around you might get fucked Habibi.
- Not to mention that in the kindred society, everything has a price. If you've done a mistake you're gonna pay for it big time, the Camarilla is ruthless when it's coming to breaking the traditions they formed.

- Domitor's Clan: Malkavian
- Domitor's Generation: 8
- Starting Disciplines: Potence, Auspex
- Character Story:
- Liran moved to Red County from California after he realized this place was hella expensive. As he arrived he tried to get stable and find a stable job and get a place to live at. A few days later the idea of joining the RCSD has popped into his mind due to his previous experience in the army, so maybe it would fit him. He tried his luck and applied for the job and luckily got accepted and rocked the interview. A few weeks later an ancilla Malkavian named Azrael seen Liran walking across the street smelling of weed. Azrael invited Liran to a bar and bought him some drinks, he asked him about some guy he's looking after named Damien. At some point, Azrael tried feeding on Liran, but he didn't give him an easy time. Liran almost managed to escape and get to use his panic button. Unfortunately, the radio was off and the panic button couldn't do its job. By that time Azrael managed to catch him, sink his fangs into his neck and have a nice 'dinner'.
- Before Azrael left he thought that maybe he could find Liran to be useful, he's strong, he's in shape, he funny, not too serious and not to mention he needed his help finding that Damien guy. So he made a cut on his wrist and dripped a few blood drops into Liran's mouth and took his leave. Two nights later Azrael found out that Liran was spying on him and once he got closer Liran ran straight into the sewers aiming with his Taser at the entrance while trying to protect himself. Azrael went down to the sewers from another entrance, sneaked obfuscated behind him, grappled him and made him drop his weapon. After a few minutes of conscious attempts to escape the grapple Azrael finally managed to cool Liran down, he took him to the generator room of the sewers and explained him about what's happening. The two spoke for a while and eventually Azrael took out his knife, made a cut on his wrist and Liran drank his vitae for the second time.
