[19:13:01] * Night_Shade eats and eats, but still he hungers.
[19:14:36] [@zoofman] Ya'll are bound for Aralia City, and have elected to travel by train.  The route has you heading up to Littlerose, and then heading east for a while, and then curving southward toward Aralia.  The trip is uneventful for the first part.  The train has big comfy seats, chargers for your electronics, and a food cart for purchasing meals and drinks.
[19:16:25] [@zoofman] When the train stops at Littlerose, a familiar face (for most of you) gets on the train.  Best Girl Rachel Kontrust boards, an Eevee sticking its head out of her purse, and sits near the end of the cart.  She does not notice you (yet).
[19:17:49] * Lucian sticks his hand up as if to hail her but stops halfway into the motion, wondering about the correct course of action.
[19:18:01] * Lucian looks to Dann and Adrienne for help.
[19:18:38] * Adrienne shakes her head and mouths 'no'.
[19:18:48] [Night_Shade] Night has a small array of various bags of chips, dominating most of the table space he can get.
[19:20:37] * Dann- pinches the bridge of his nose and shakes his head gently.
[19:21:20] [Night_Shade] "Do you guys talk like this a lot or what?"
[19:21:28] * Lucian clenches his fist as he draws back his hand from the almost-wave. Instead he looks over to Night Shade, "That's Rachel over there. An acquaintance of ours...of sorts. You should introduce yourself, Night Shade."
[19:21:56] * Dann- nods silently at Night Shade's query.
[19:22:23] [Night_Shade] He looks up at her, squints at her a bit. "No, she looks familiar, so I'm already bored."
[19:23:08] [Lucian] "And to answer your question, yes."
[19:23:16] [Lucian] "Was it not like that for your previous team?"
[19:24:31] [Night_Shade] "I haven't done a lot of team stuff since high school. I've been more of a lone Manetric lately." He decides to whistle loudly in Rachel's direction. "Hey! Eevee girl!"
[19:25:01] * Adrienne goes back to checking her Chatter and Facebook. Whatever it's called here.
[19:25:50] [@zoofman] Rachel looks toward the source of the voice, sees Night Shade, and freezes up in complete dread.
[19:26:30] [Night_Shade] "Oh yeah, see, totally familiar." But, as an olive branch, he selects a bag of Sunchips and shakes them Rachel's direction.
[19:26:40] * Lucian glances between the two, "Bit more than just 'familiar' with her, then?"
[19:26:53] [Adrienne] "Did you get her fired by accident?"
[19:27:10] [Adrienne] "Because we did, twice. Probably three times, depending on how Madrona played out."
[19:27:46] [Night_Shade] "Shit, am I supposed to remember everyone I ever got fired? I'm only human, guys."
[19:28:07] [Lucian] "I think she wasn't long for Madrona by the time we'd met her."
[19:28:19] [Adrienne] "It's only polite, NS."
[19:28:45] [Lucian] "Though, given her career trajectory after the fact, maybe staying there would have been better for everyone involved."
[19:28:54] [@zoofman] The Eevee hops down and runs over at the shakeyshakey of snacks.  Rachel tries to catch it and fails, and contemplates her choices as her Eevee stands on its hindlegs and begs with big EeveeCatDogEyes
[19:29:33] * Lucian reaches across from his aisle seat to scratch the Pokemon behind its ears.

[19:29:57] [Night_Shade] "My deep, varied skill set only covers polite when I'm getting something out of it." Night hands a chip down to the Eevee. "There we go, that's a good ratbatcat thing."
[19:31:02] [@zoofman] The Eevee scarfs the chip down and then hops into Lucian's lap with a joyful arf.
[19:32:05] * Dann- can't help but smile at the adorable ratbatcat thing.
[19:32:30] * Lucian smirks at the Eevee, "Kinda regret boxing Ninian before the train ride now."
[19:32:45] [Lucian] "I remember every kid in school wanting one of these guys as starters."
[19:34:10] [Night_Shade] "Ugh, why? The races are so boring to watch."
[19:34:58] [@zoofman] Rachel finally shuffles over herself, standing outside of arm's reach and with a defensive stance.  "H-hello..."
[19:35:23] * Lucian rolls his eyes, "Well Night Shade, not every child ages 10 and under thinks much about competitive battling or the viablity of Eevees in career training."
[19:35:32] [Dann-] "Hey Rachel." Dann tries to sound friendly.
[19:35:51] [Adrienne] "They're cute, that's why." She switches over to an ebook and replies to Rachel without looking up. "We're not going to bite. Sorry about Camas."
[19:36:55] [Night_Shade] "Hey, uh...Rachel," he glances at Dann, "These guys were trying to avoid you, totally rude, huh? Want some snacks? I had to take the sour straws away from Lucian or he'll lose his figure."
[19:37:10] * Lucian opens his mouth to comment on the 'bite' statement but stops himself and smiles at Rachel, "Yeah, it was rough on all parties. I hope there's no bad blood between us?"
[19:40:05] [@zoofman] She takes a seat near your group and whistles, the Eevee snaps to and hops over to her.  "I thought you three were ill omens against my career.  I was wrong, you were only harbingers of worse to come." She stares at Night Shade :|.
[19:41:19] [Lucian] "...if it makes you feel any better, I don't think the misfortunes are necessarily aimed at you?"
[19:41:55] [Night_Shade] "Oh yeah, we totally know each other. Remind me again?"
[19:42:16] * Dann- raises an eyebrow and glances at Night Shade.
[19:42:33] [Dann-] He also calls out Kai to meet the Eevee.
[19:42:38] [Adrienne] "We're kinda cursed, sorry."
[19:45:41] [@zoofman] "You forged my first boss's signature on a document stating I was supposed to give you a reward set that you previously were unable to claim, had me act on it, and then pickpocketed the form back so there wouldn't be any evidense." :|
[19:46:16] [Adrienne] "Wow NS, you are a gigantic asshole."
[19:46:25] [castfromhp] The Eevee and Kai exchange a few yips, then the Eevee hops off Rachel's seat again to play with the fire fox. Kai almost sets a seat on fire but manages to hold back.
[19:46:58] [Lucian] "Wouldn't a 'wow' imply that this is a surprise to you?"
[19:47:24] [@zoofman] "They sent me to Madrona as PUNISHMENT.  And that was probably the high point of my career."
[19:47:51] [Night_Shade] Night tries really hard not to smile, but doesn't succeed. "A...ah, and you're for sure this is something I did and not something my brother did?" He leans over to Adrienne. "Identical twins, happens all the time, you'd like him."
[19:48:05] [Adrienne] "The 'wow' was me being snide."
[19:48:07] [Adrienne] "Shut up about twins."
[19:48:38] [@zoofman] "So bad blood?  I'm not sure, but existential dread?  Perhaps.  I can only hope you are not heading to the same location as I am."
[19:49:11] [Adrienne] "Gonna nip this in the bud, we're going to Aralia."
[19:49:14] [Lucian] "Well, if you were heading to Aralia it might be in your best interests to get off at the next stop, instead?"
[19:49:23] * Dann- widens his eyes for half a moment when Kai almost ignites the train, but quickly calms himself.
[19:49:28] [Night_Shade] "Well, damn, momma, someone's not getting a phone number."
[19:49:40] [Dann-] "Or maybe this time, we won't be cursed."
[19:49:45] [castfromhp] Kai looks over at you apologetically, Dann.
[19:50:05] [@zoofman] As the train starts to make its way through the mountains, bending to start heading south for Aralia, there's a segment where it passes through a tunnel.  Roll me Perception.
