- Nixilis flexed his wings and took flight, attacking the Eternals from above, raining fire down upon them. Once he’d cleared a fiery circle, he landed, grabbed an Eternal and ripped off its limbs. He proceeded to tear apart and/or burn Eternals with his flaming hands, and Dack watched as the demon seemed to grow fiercer, more powerful—and larger—with every victory.

- With the Bridge now closed, the rest of the Eternals all halted their march. They froze in place, unsure what to do. Nixilis, by this time, was huge—he had easily doubled in size since Dack had first encountered him. The demon flew up and down the Eternal line, methodically incinerating each and every remaining Eternal.
