“Yes,” Brigette said, “but thus far the footage has been no help in locating the Xenomorph. There are a few brief, blurry glimpses of the creature, but the images were recorded in different areas of the facility. It moves swiftly and covers a lot of ground for what is essentially a newborn.”
Gagnon turned to look at her. “Are you suggesting the Xenomorph is consciously avoiding the cameras?”
“No, but it might do so instinctively. It’s common in nature for animals to have an awareness of when they’re being watched. Why should the Xenomorph be any different? It is an exceptionally sophisticated lifeform after all.”
