- I've been using this method for ages and it has always worked.
- Since I haven't written a tutorial for a while I decided I would do it.
- Tested last time: September 6th, 2012
- What you're going to need is:
- - Google Chrome
- - Windows Computer with Administrator Account (eventually)
- - VLC Media Player or Media Player Classic
- (1)
- Go to Facebook and click play on the video you want to download. Then click on "Watch in HD" button.
- (2)
- Wait 'til it loads until the end and then watch it 'til the end as well.
- (3)
- Go to: C:\Users\@USERNAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Cache
- (4)
- Go all the way down until you find a bigger file than the rest of the files there. Data_0, Data_1, etc are not the files we're looking for here, do not touch them! The size may vary between 1MB-100MB+ depending on the quality of the video, length, etc. The file will be called something like f_xx as xxx=random numbers.
- (5)
- Copy the file to your Desktop and rename it to: video.flv (you have to have the option to see extensions in the end of file's names to do this)
- (6)
- After that, open the video with either VLC or MPC and it will play like charm.
- Enjoy the videos.
