- pokemon yellow lag frames and their effect on IGT
- 1. door loading = 6-8 frames
- 2. lag 1 frame per step, reset with each white screen event
- a. can happen after random encounter, door exit, accessing menu
- 3. lag 1 frame continuously while standing in non-city area
- a. opening menu stops frame drop temporarily, closing menu drops 10 frames
- i. opening record menu and closing reset this event
- ii. once reset, menu closing does not drop frames
- 4. accessing record menu = 4 frames
- 5. any fade to white screen transition
- 6. any pikachu’s cry
- 7. HP bar goes to orange or red = 2 frames
- 8. Transitioning to new area = 2 frames
- 9. Exiting out of item menu = 1 frame
- 10. Opening pokemon menu = 3 frames
- a. Closing pokemon menu = 4 frames
- 11. Starting a battle to attack select = 8-10 frames
- a. opponent sending a new pokemon out = 4 frames
- b. Running from battle = 6 frames
- 12. Evolving = 4 frames
- a. Exiting evolve event back to overworld = 8 frames
- 13. Exiting S.S. anne captain room, 3 frames/sec drop error, up to 6 with/sec walking
