KEEP PAINTING!

Covet: Cadence was sitting outside on the deck that led out from the masterbedroom, while Felix was working inside on painting the bathroom. There was a fire going in the fireplace, and she and Steph were just kicking it. It'd been a pretty relaxed day over all, and had been hilarious watching Felix help get Steph up the stairs so they could sit out here and enjoy the evening. "I need something more to drink, but that's all the way downstairs....Do you think if I asked Felix nicely that he'd go get it?" Cadence asked Steph. // Felix was in the bathroom in the pair of denim cutoff jeans that were covered in paint flecks from the last couple of days. He put the roller back into the pan and stood up to push his hair back out of his face, before walking out to where the girls were sitting on the patio. "My ears are burning, what did you say?"
Alexithymiaa: "Probably. He's a little bit of a pushover for us needing help right now." She said from her seat, watching him through the glass as he stepped out onto the patio. "I was just telling Cadence how great you ass looks in the shorts I picked out for you." She said with a wide cheeky grin, draping her arms over her lap casually.-
Covet: Cadence nodded her head, "And She'd enjoy watching it as you turned around and walked back inside to go get us something to drink." Cadence said with an equally cheeky grin. // Felix looked at the two of them, narrowing his gaze, "I feel like I'm being taken advantage of in the best way possible right now, but it's weird... so I'll just go and get drinks, cause I'm thirsty too." He told them as he turned around and made his way through the house and downstairs. Jesus this place was big.
Alexithymiaa: -She started to laugh, waving him off as he walked back into the house. She leaned back in her seat a bit to watch him through the glass, her face just making a dreamy expression as he disappeared aaround the corner out of the bathroom aand into the rest of the house. Letting out a distant sigh, she turned her attention back to Cadence. "Told you."-
Covet: "Yes, you did. He's a good one. Finally. It only took you how long?" Cadence asked with a smirk as she watched Steph's expression. "You better put a ring on that before someone comes along and tries to sweep him away. Course, didn't Jade already try to do that and failed again." She asked. // Felix made his way into the kitchen and grabbed a few waters out of the near empty fridge. He also grabbed the pizza box from earlier, intended to snack on cold pizza, while he took a break, then started making his way back upstairs with his arms full.
Alexithymiaa: "It's funny, becaause when we first met I thought he was annoying and obnoxious and he frustrated the shit out of me. Now I think he's annoying and obnoxious and he frustrates the shit out of me, but I want him around all the time." She pursed her lips, glancing down at her left hand. "I seriously dont think that's on his agenda right now."-
Covet: "Yeah, I kind of felt the same way about remy, well not over the obnoxious bit, cause Remy's not obnoxious, but now, I don't know what I'd do without him." She told her, then scoffed to lighten the mood, "A ring like that would be amazing, but you know any ring would do right?...ring gag, handcuffs, collar and chain, devil's trap."
Alexithymiaa: -She smirked, giving Cadence a playful nudge without full force because pregnant bitch. "Cut it out. It's fine. I'm not trying to force anything on him. We live together and everything is great between us right now, so I'm happy. Just because I'm building castles in the sky doesn't mean he needs to be for me to be happy with how things are. I've been a huge pain in the ass lately and he's not only tolerated me, but he's voluntarily spent most of his time with me while I'm being a huge pain in the ass. I owe him big time."-
Covet: "Hey, I'm just saying, some guys like it when girls get forceful." She said with a laugh. "I'm glad you're happy though, and I'm sure he'll catch up to where you are in that castle. He just hasn't been waiting for it as long as you have." Cadence said, "Aww, that's sweet of him. I would have probably attempted to strangle you by now. But that has more to do with pregnancy hormones than me thinking you're actually annoying or anything."
Alexithymiaa: "He's busy being Peter Pan right now. It's fine." She moved her hand to her face, pushing her glasses up her nose. "If I were him, I'd have killed me by now. Definitely. I know I've been impossible lately and I have a handful of ideas of how to make it up to him. Aand I've got a couple of pretty big checks coming my way really soon, so that should make it easier. Everythings easier when you don't have to worry about mortgage payments."-
Covet: "True facts there." Cadence said, "We're paid up for a year on this place. Not that we have much to worry about, but yeah...still nice to have that peice of mind. Has Ash given you anymore flack for all of that?" She asked then looked up as Felix came back with the water and foods. // Felix handed the water to them both then sat down on the floor with the pizza box in his lap. "Anyone want a slice, or some toppings?" He asked as he took a piece and shoved it in his mouth.
Alexithymiaa: -She shrugged, starting to aanswer when she saw Felix coming back. "No...." She said quickly to Cadence, not wanting to discuss Ash in front of Felix. She watched him sit down and begin digging into the pizza, raising her brows. "Kinda seems like you've got the pizza situation covered, babe."-
Covet: "That's good." Cadence said picking up on the quick response, then looked at Felix, "I'd ask for a slice, but the way you're inhaling it I don't think there's going to be much left." She said with a laugh. // Felix nodded his head at Steph, "Painting makes a man hungy, don't judge me. There's still like four slices in here, I'm not that hungry, nor am I kirby, though how cool would it be if my mouth was that big." He said with a grin, then shot a smirk to Steph.
Alexithymiaa: "And what's your excuse literally every other day?" She asked him with a laugh, biting down on the tip of her tongue at his slightly suggestive comment. Barely skipping a beat, she shot back at him. "I don't know Arizona, have you heard you? Kinda seems like your mouth is already that big."-
Covet: Cadence took her water and tipped it back to get a drink, "Thank you, If you happen to leave any pizza left over, I'll take a slice, if not I was already planning to hit up somewhere on my way home for Remy and I." She said with a laugh, listening to the banter between Steph and him. // "I work hard? And that works up an appetite, Duh." Felix said with a mouth full, then it opened up and hung there, "Are you complaining about my big mouth now? Cause I'm sure I can find much better uses for it."
Alexithymiaa: "What? No!" She stammered, her eyes flicking to Cadence briefly before looking back at Felix. "Oh my god..." She mumbled, moving her hand to cover her eyes, her cheeks turning bright pink. "I don't even have the ability to escape you...."-
Covet: Cadence started cackling at Steph's response. "Don't worry, you kids have nothing on me and Remy. I've heard and experienced it all." She said waving her hand. // Felix looked at Steph, "What I didn't say anything wrong, you two have dirty minds. I'm just sitting here eating pizza after working hard, and you seem to think my mind is elsewhere. Perverts."
Alexithymiaa: -She let out a deep sigh, shifting on the couch to peer over the railing behind her. "Do you think I would die on impact if I threw myself off this balcony?" She asked very casually, pretending to calculate how high they were. "Probably not. I'll probably just break my legs, which considering the boat I'm in now, seems like a way better option than the rest of this conversation." She trailed off on talking to herself, shooting a look at Felix. "Excuse you. Do you want me to force you back to painting so I can objectify you some more?" She paused, furrowing her brows. "Wait... I don't remember if that's supposed to be punishment or not."-
Covet: "You're not allowed to commit suicide due to personal shame in my house. Remy is already paranoid about the possibility of ghosts." Cadence said flatly, then laughed. "Hey, you can't use that word, that's our word!" // Felix scoffed. "All the more reason for me calling you one then. If forcing me to go back to painting keeps you from trying to throw yourself off here, like a desperate rapunzel, with way better hair, then fine... fine... I'll go back to work.. but I better be getting more than just Pizza out of this.
Alexithymiaa: -She rolled her eyes at Cadence, moving her hand up to touch her hair gently. "You think my hair is way better than Rapunzel's? Wow. I knew I kept you around for a reason." She started to laugh, which died off quickly when she heard him. "We'll see how much you want after you have to help me back down the stairs in a few minutes. And..... Nick is dropping off his dogs for us to watch for a few days, in the morning. I might have forgotten to mention that..."-
Covet: "Yeah, can I get my phone out to film you going back down the stairs? Cause coming up was hilarious." Cadence said, giving them both shit. "I thought I was hilarious waddling up them, but you guys.. you stole my crown on that." She said with a laugh. // Felix looked at Cadence, "You're not that funny you know, Also, more dogs is good, though I would have liked to properly prepare Nugget for a puppy play date, but he's pretty good at just going with the flow, and think about how exhausted Penny is going to be."
Alexithymiaa: -She narrowed her eyes on Cadence, pouting. "How about you shut the fuck up? That sounds like a good option." She took a deep breath, nodding at Felix. "Yeah, I was kind of hoping it would wear Penny out a little earlier in the day. He has two dogs. Jessie is older so I doubt she's really going to do a whole lot of playing and running around. We have to give her glucosemine and something else he's bringing. The other dog used to be Bryan's..." She trailed off, glancing at Cadence becaause she was sure she remembered him. "Moose is... not a very well behaved dog. After Bryan had his accident, he couldn't keep up with him, so they gave him to Nick."-
Covet: [That makes me so sad... Poor Moose]
Alexithymiaa: (If I remember correctly, Bryan was learning how to walk and couldnt stay upright because Moose kept jumping on him and Bryan lost his shit and told Aubrey to get him out of the house.)
Alexithymiaa: (Moose is aalso like the WORST behaaved dog ever.)

Alexithymiaa: (Pretty much. He didnt train him at all. Moose ate like all of Bryans shoes. And his belt. And the furniture. Aubrey's make up. He nipped. He jumped. THE WORST.)
Covet: "I didn't know Nick had Moose, but that's cool. Sort of. Make sure to hide any and all shoes." Cadence said to them after sticking her tongue out at Steph. // Felix nodded his head, "Thanks for the head's up, I'll make sure that he gets some extra play time and isn't left to his own devices for too long. Idle doggies are the ones who get into trouble."
Alexithymiaa: "If he eats any of my shoes, I'm going to be pretty pissed, so yeah.... if you want to take him running with you, that would probably be best. I think when Bryan really couldn't do anything with him, it got pretty bad. It doesn't help that he wasn't well trained before that, but... yeah." She shrugged, reaching for her crutches so she could pull herself up to her feet. "I should probably start my journey since it's going to take me fifteen minutes to get down the stairs and like an hour to walk back down the block." She quickly shot Felix a look because he had probably argued with her about walking in the first place, but she insisted. "I need the practice anyway, so the fact that it takes me so long is probably a good thing."-
Covet: "Well, I'm gong to be locking up here for the night anyways to head back over to the apartment, so why don't you just worry about getting downstairs and into my car, so then I can just drop you guys off on my way back?" Cadence offered as she stood up. // Felix nodded his head and pointed at Steph, "Stairs are plenty of practice, I like the idea of hitching a ride, down the block though. Thanks Cadence." He accepted before Steph could decline the offer.
Alexithymiaa: -She set her jaw because she had wanted to walk even if it was awful, staring blandly at Felix. "It's not the same kind of practice which even my physical therapist says. And he wants me getting around more and walking, but yeah we should totally hitch a ride and cheat." She started to swing herself forward on the crutches, moving toward the door so she could get inside and avoid the wet walls.-
