  10. **Item #:** SCP-1048
  11.
  12. **Object Class:** Euclid
  13.
  14. **Special Containment Procedures:** SCP-1048 must be kept under direct supervision at all times. Current containment methods consist of pressure sensitive floor tiles accompanied by full camera coverage. Readouts are to be monitored and recorded at all times. Failure of any subsystem may result in an instantaneous loss of containment.
  15.
  16. SCP-1048 must, under no circumstances, be obscured from observation from electronic or organic means. All transportation is to be observed by a D-Class with eyelids surgically removed(See Note #1048-2).
  17.
  18. In the case of a containment breach
  19.
  20. **Description:** SCP-1048 appears to be a clear bodied plastic pen with an empty ink resivoir. Analysis at Research Area ████████ revealed a lack of any distinguishing characteristics
  21.
  22. If at any time the object is not under observation testing has shown that it may be removed from its current location and deposited into any other unobserved location within an estimated radius of 3 meters (See Note #1048-1). Matter occupying this space is displaced at a rate of speed estimated to be one (1) km/s.
  23.
  24. **Addendum:**
  25. Note #1048-1:
  26. D-Class tasked with retreival was present during a power outage at the ████████ store in ████████, NS, Canada triggered. Displacement resulted in complete destruction of the D-Class body below the neck extending from the C5 to the T4 vertebrae. Distance from the initial position to the estimated final position was recorded to be 2.75m with a possible error of +/- 25cm. Agent ████ handled the object and inferred that physical contact was sufficient to prevent reaction.
  27.
  28. Note #1048-2:
  29. Object was initially encased within a 6m acrylic cube for transport and was observed by six D-Class personel. A lapse of observation lasting an estimated 100 milliseconds occured at approximately 11:25AM on ████████, ██, 19██. The face of the cube nearest to the rear of the transport was displaced, resulting in the deaths of the observation personel and Agent ████. Fragments of the cube were recovered across a 2km radius of tundra.
  30.
  31. Request For Testing #1048-17:
  32. Doctors ██████ and ████████ request approval for testing to inquire possible bias towards organic matter with respect to displacement location
