- What I did to separate three audio sources using VB-Cable software.
- 1. In Dolby Axon, set Input Device to Headset and Output Device to Headphones.
- 2. In Sound, go to Recording tab, and set CABLE Output* to default device.
- 3. Go to Stereo Mix / What U Hear, go to Listen tab, and set CABLE Input to listen.
- 4. Go to CABLE Output, go to Listen tab, and set Headphones to listen.
- 5. Go to Playback tab, and set Speakers to default device.
- 6. In Fraps, turn Record Win7 Sound off, and turn Record External Input on.
- 7. Fraps should pick up CABLE-B Output as the external input device. If not, see 2, and restart Fraps.
- 8. MAKE SURE YOU TEST IT OUT!!!
- *CABLE Output is the VB-Audio Cable device. If you have multiple installed, pick whichever you like. I went with CABLE-B because it's blue.
