  1. More than anything- and I haven't found it mentioned The Longevity Blueprint Review in the several biographies I've read- it's really how they perceived themselves. One could call it self-image- it's what they saw when they looked in the mirror. I'm sure Thomas Edison saw himself as a dedicated scientist/inventor who simply wouldn't give up on his dream of developing the light bulb. He was focused. That was simply all he cared about and it was in his thoughts at all times. He became what he thought about every day.

  3. If you believe you will succeed, you will. Strong, uncompromising belief will trigger the how-to. It's the way the mind works. When see yourself as an uncompromising success, that's the way others will see you. As a lad during the Great Depression, I recall the story of a man who called himself Charles Atlas. A few of you may remember about him today. He came from an immigrant family, a ninety-eight pound weakling who people kicked sand in his face at the beach. He didn't see himself that way. He began a body-building routine of lifting weights until he had a muscular, sculptured body.

  5. He attracted enough attention that investors backed him in a mail order business, outlining how to build a body that resembled his, included in the purchase of a set of barbells. He became well-know and wealthy. He believed in himself and his mind found a way for him to become who he saw himself to be. You can do the same. All you have to do is BELIEVE you can. Be firm, focused and have self-belief, but if you question it, it becomes wishful thinking. I'll believe when I see it is an attitude that will take you nowhere. You are what you perceive yourself to be. Whatever it is you want, if you want it badly enough and have the patience and dedication, all of your dreams will come true.

  7. Take a lesson from the postage stamp. It sticks to one thing until it gets where it's going. About the Great Depression, we're not into anything like that at present. There are too many programs active to alleviate the stark deprivation of those days. There were no social security or unemployment benefits then, to mention a few. Our day and age is far advanced and getting better. I've listened to some moans and groans about how bad everything is. More negative thinking.
