  1. >It was the simple things in life you loved to experience, whether it be the cool autumn air that danced around you like a giddy spirit in its prime or the ponies that had accepted you as one of their own.
  2. >Until today, things just seemed at ease, watching the pegasai move the clouds and weather to make the world below fit for the earth ponies to grow their crop, and the unicorns to help. Simply, it was beauty.
  3. >Though with simple pleasures came comparison. Loving one thing more than another, indulging in what you wanted rather than what was provided.
  4. >Fluttershy.
  5. >Seeing her was itself a great treat, a mare that was kind and loving to all she touched. Her voice carried a sweet tune and seemed to tease the wind itself.
  6. >She was your favorite, and on many occasions, both in drunken bliss and sober seriousness you had told her just that.
  7. >That’s how you knew just how perfect she was. Each time was greeted with a little blush, a slight giggle and those adorable little words.
  8. >”That- That really means a lot, Anon.”
  9. >That sweet little blush.
  10. >”I don’t think I’m the best… But if you think so… Wow.”
  11. >You had hugged her for the first time, then. Her mane smelling of dew and honey, both of which she said came from searching for new treats for her pets.
  12. >Her coat was soft, well kept. But it was nothing compared to how soft her breathing was as she looked up into your eyes, humming gently in tune and she pressed her nose to yours.
  13. >It was a sign of affection, accented so delicately by that faint purr and loving giggle and you felt her forelegs drape over your shoulders, and her gentle lips press against your cheek.
