>After a little persuasion from Twilight (you don't say no to a princess) and yourself (bit for your thoughts?), he agreed to let you come with him to his meeting with his employer
>R -"Why are we at Glitch Hop? This is one of the most popular clubs in Manehattan!"
"Makes sense, kinda. Why go someplace shady and suspicious when you can have your dastardly dealings in plain view of anyone?"
>10:00 pm in Manehattan
>W -"Gimme a sec."
>Wind Rider flies up and grabs a piece of cloud before returning to the ground
>After a minute or so of sculpting the cloud, he places two of his feathers into it
>It takes a second, but the appearance of Wind Rider starts to overtake the cloud
>A -"Wait, why does yer Stand thang need two feathers if yer just copyin' yerself?"
>W -"The first feather acts as a controller, while the second is used for replication purposes."
"So, you can control them?"
>W -"Yeah, but it means they aren't very sturdy or powerful."
"I'd have to disagree, considering you stopped my fuckin' heart."
>He taps the cloud copy, and it suddenly gains awareness
>W -"Alright, go in there and do your job."
>Wc -"Got it."
>Rarity hands him the bag filled with the soulstone pieces
"Wait, why did you talk to it? It's completely controlled by you, right?"
>W -"I like to make sure it sounds authentic. Can't make a good disguise with out a good voice, right?"
>You guess that makes sense
>The false Wind heads into the bar
>T -"Alright, starting a mind link."
>Twilight taps her horn on Wind Rider's head, and her eyes begin to glow
>After a minute, she moves back before revealing a small magic wire on her horn connected to Wind's head
>T -"Just so I know what's going on in real time, and that Wind won't try any funny business."
>Wind gives an annoyed groan

>Inside, the fake Wind heads through the crowd of ponies, towards the booths in the back
>After sitting in the booth nearest the bar, the dancer on the closest pole comes down and takes a seat nearby
>d -"So baby, how you doing tonight?"
>Wc -"Is this real?"
>d -"*eyeroll* Ain't nopony real."
>The dancer gets off the chair and beckons cloud-Wind to follow
>After passing by a few backrooms meant for... scandalous meet-ups (as Twilight puts it), the two of them enter a secluded room after cloud-Wind waits for the dancer to go away and gives a secret knock on one of the walls

>The wall slides up, and a hooded figure sits behind a desk in a well lit green room
>T -"Starting multi mind link."

>Before he knows it, the soulstone shards glow intensely, as if a spell is put on them
>Then they all fly out of the room, through the door and, what with 9 people sharing one mind via link, an overbearingly loud series of whistles is heard zooming by

>And sees that here are holes where the soulstones penetrated his body

>The floating robot humanoid then seemed to go on a speech, but it was as if he was speaking through a speaker, and the disc the voice was recorded on was scratched

>Before everyone could anticipate what had happened, the mind link was broken and everypony started running for the train station, hoping to get out of there before whatever that THING was made it to them
>Unfortunately for you, you were tripped by something you SWORE you could see, but was gone in an instant

>Wind Rider sees the looming robo-human-thing over Anon not fighting, but rather bent over, as if introducing himself
>After hearing it speak, he realizes that it's about to start talking, buying Anon and him time
>He drags Rainbow behind a nearby alley, and keeps an eye on Anon and the thing, which proceeds to monologue
>W -"*whisper*I need your help."
>R -"*whisper*Why would I help you?! I bet you set this all up, huh?! Wanted us to-"
>W -"THIS ISN'T THE TIME TO DO THIS! I NEED YOUR HELP! PLEASE! I'LL DO ANYTHING JUSTHELPME!"
>R -"*sigh* Fine, what do you want?"
>W -"Grab some clouds and bring them back here, but be silent about it!"
>R -"Got it!"
>Wind Rider heads into a nearby diner
>"W-sir-y-you can't ta- Come back here!"

>Oh shit, the Stand's approaching you
