  1. Ok so I'm assuming lowiro will add add a banger pack with 5 insane new songs right before the year ends so uh this list is for songs released between version 1.9.0 to 2.4.7 (Avant Raze has just been released)
  2.
  3. Also personal opinion, rating songs only released this year. I'm rating the track itself, the actual chart, if it reflects its difficulty, how enjoyable it is with the limitations of having to match a song. Will have explanations but if you just want the list its at the bottom. (Going off present cause I'm at 9.36 potential, and I play this game casually for fun).
  4.
  5.
  6. 10. A Wandering Melody of Love [からとP⍺ոchii少年 feat.はるの] (Diff: 7)
  7.
  8. Barely making it on the list, the song features a day/night version depending on when you play it, adding a unique aesthetic value to it. Generally really cheerful, and a good reflection of its difficulty rating. The chart feels like it requires attention but it is also chill to play through. Nothing as amazing as the other charts, but it worth your time.
  9.
  10. 9. OMAKENO Stroke [t+pazolite] (Diff: 6)
  11.
  12. This song wouldn't have made it on here if I had made the list a few weeks ago. However it has a very fast and crazy beat (similar to another song later in the list) and the chart feels very flavorful. It is on the easier side of difficulty 6 charts but doesn't really matter. Probably not worth getting the collab just for this song, but if you do, definitely worth giving this one a shot.
  13.
  14.
  15. 8. ouroboros -twin stroke of the end- [Cranky VS MASAKI] (Diff: 7)
  16.
  17. The only reason this song isn't higher is because the chart is terrible the first time you play through it. There's just some really bad arcs that are inexcusable in this difficulty. And yet this marks my top 8. Overall decent song, and the arcs do feel likes snakes, adding huge points in the theme bonus. Once you get used to it it is amazing. But that assumes you overcome the hurdle of the first few plays. Honestly even though it sounds like mixed feelings, at the end of the day my current personal opinion is very high so here we are.
  18.
  19.
  20. 7. Ringed Genesis [Edelritter] (Diff: 8)
  21.
  22. You sleep for the first half of the song and then have the time of your life for the second half. Absolutely boring, incredibly easy until the halfway mark. Then it is definitely one of the more difficult difficulty 8s, and also the actually song gets really good. The reason this sin't top 5 is because the chart doesn't reflect the song perfectly imo, and you know, you need to stick through like over a minute of pointless melody to get to the good part.
  23.
  24.
  25. 6. Tie me down gently [溝口ゆうま feat. 大瀬良あい] (Diff: 5)
  26.
  27. I'm surprised a difficulty 5 makes it on here to be honest. Usually there is only so much you can do with a chart in low difficulty. This one however is incredibly fun. The upbeat relaxing rhythm mixed with the soothing voice of the singer fits really well with a low difficulty map. Is it easy? yes. It is relaxing to play and fun to experience? Yes. Is the chart the most fun difficulty 5 chart? Yes. This should be top 5, but sadly too 5 can only have 5 songs.
  28.
  29.
  30. 5. Filament [Puru] (Diff: 7)
  31.
  32. Number 4 and 5 are really close. However, since filament came out a bit more than a week ago I recognize I have a lot of recency bias/haven't gotten bored yet, so I'm putting it in slot 5. Nevertheless, this is a perfect mix between a good song and a good chart. The whole chart flows really well, and has an amazing burst at the end. Not much to say, really well designed.
  33.
  34.
  35. 4. Dreadnought [Mastermind (xi+nora2r)] (Diff: 7)
  36.
  37. Incredibly fun chart. Slow and steady part with a break in the middle followed by an amazing ending. If the actual song was better this would be number 1.
  38.
  39.
  40. 3. Cyaegha [USAO] (Diff: 8)
  41.
  42. The best song in this list. However, I mentioned above that's not my only criteria. This is definitely the easiest difficulty 8, and also the chart isn't amazing (its good enough though). The raw music carries this a lot. Honestly I don't feel that the increased difficulty towards the end fits this song, and I would have like a more uniform chart. Howver its this far u because the music is so good.
  43.
  44.
  45. 2. Mirzam [Aoi vs. siqlo] (Diff: 7)
  46.
  47. From the first moment I saw the preview for this song, something inside me told me it would be good. I have played this song every day since it came out, at least once (it basically acts as my warm up chart) and oh boy I love it. Definitely a faster bpm than most of the songs I like, but it is an amazing chart with really good music, and the explosive ending adds so much to it. Perfect difficulty for a difficulty 7 and yeh that's pretty much it. Top 3 in the whole game free.
  48.
  49.
  50. 1. Garakuta Doll Play [t+pazolite] (Diff: 6)
  51.
  52. OMAKENO Stroke version 2, on steroids. This is perfection in a rhythm game. Fast, upbeat music, paired with a short of craziness, and a chart that mimics this song. Difficulty means nothing, this is an experience. It all comes together to create something incredible, amazing, extraordinary. This is one of the first charts I played and yet is still hands down my number one favorite in the game. Every time I see it in my song list I think to myself, yeh let me play this one again real quick. To me this isn't even close to the rest of the list. Perfection.
