  2.
  3. Character: Quinn (Human)
  4.
  5. Signature: Limit Breaker
  6.
  7. Reasoning: After for the most part winning in a small royale, Quinn was the first pick to be taught a special 'technique' by a god. Though, he wasn't really the strongest, rather, no one seemed to target him in the arena, believing he was too weak to be a threat. He comes to learn he would be taught how to break past his limits by Yuela, with what sounded to be a mix of adrenaline and breaking the subconscious limits that all living creatures have to prevent injuring themselves.
  8.
  9. This ended up being taught by the Kaio attacking him with the intent to kill, and her power was well over 10x his own, easily able to defeat him...once....twice...but the third time, he actually put up a decent fight, sadly, she was holding back, and quickly took him serious and got him down.
  10.
  11. In what could have been the humans final moments alive, he stands back up ignoring his injuries, and charging at her, breaking a bone in his leg from the reckless nature, possibly breaking his limits....but he ended up going unconscious right after, it can't be known if he actually did it, or if it was a fluke.
  12.
  13. This training was only given to him because the demons were much stronger than any of their own, and had a numbers advantage to top it off, but would a human that surpassed their limits even stand a chance?
  14.

  16.
  17. >Training Logs< (If you don't have the time, don't read them, but it's proof of the explained events, Note that I do understand that this doesn't entitle me to limit breaker, and I fully accept if I get denied due to it being too strong at this point or whatever, but it was what she decided to icly train me for.):
  18. *Yuela would stand before the man, roughly at the powerlevel of fifty thousand. She'd keep a smile plastered on her face, perhaps telling how she was proud that he had came so far, or rather . . . of the imminent sadism hardly able to contain itself.
  19.
  20. "You are a human. . but you see.", she'd vanish for a second, before standing right infront of him with her finger pushing up his chin playfully.
  21.
  22. "I have known man for a millenia. And so, I know the power that resides deep within your kind. You hold a tenacity and adaptability to evolve like none other. ."
  23.
  24. "I'm going to draw out everything in you from this fight.", she'd say as her smile widened.
  25.
  26. Her finger let go of his chin, as she'd turn her back around to him as she'd walk onwards slowly. . "Did you know that the human brain imposes a limiter on your body, to prevent it from exerting too much strength? It is a safety mechanism. . even a truly normal human without powers would be capable to lift cars with that limitation removed."
  27.
  28. ". . But how about a superhuman such as yourself? What do you think would happen if your 'limiter' was to be removed, when you already have herculean strength yourself?"*
  29. *Quinn had his mind blank as she told him of 'herculean strength.' Was he really supernaturally strong? After starting off as a meager normal human, after going to rabbit village, he became something more....but at the same time, he wasn't. Even as he begun to rise in power, others around him did the same, no, better, they were able to keep themselves firmly above him in placing, especially infuriating was the quincy, knowing they weren't that different from a human. That was probably the same thing Airi felt upon fighting him.
  30.
  31. He grips the sword and shield, he had taken a while, but he found the right words to respond with. "I dunno...I thought I already broke my limits. I hear stories of people overcome with an intense adrenaline, and when their mind is focused on a single goal that requires physical strength, they can push their body so hard that their nerves die from the very action."
  32.
  33. He wasn't unfamiliar with the concept, but he partly though that going into the territory he did, he got past that point, but maybe it was true, maybe it could be applied even to a superhuman...or a super average human.
  34.
  35. "I guess I would be stronger, but that's not something I can do at will even if I wanted to"*
  36. Yuela says: Oh? What's this? Is that all my winner can doo?
  37. Yuela says: Stand up. You haven't achieved it yet.
  38. Quinn says: It was....a tie...and...I got lucky...they all thought I'd lose...so...no one went after me...
  39. *Quinn felt like his couldn't stand up, he was injured, normaly at this point he would get healed.*
  40. Quinn says: I can't...
  41. Yuela says: Get up, or else. .
  42. *Yuela would toss a charge blast right narrowly beside him - scorching the floor black and red, as if magmic. .
  43.
  44. "You'll die.", she'd smugly sneer at him most wickedly, as a noxious killing intent filled the air..
  45.
  46. "The next one won't miss. Get up."*
  47. Quinn regains consciousness.
  48. *Quinn could feel his adrenaline spike as she did that, did she intend...intend to kill him? No, calm down, that's gotta be fake. That's what he wanted to think, but this was a god, a god he hadn't worshipped his entire life, he was one of if not the weakest adult in her team, would she really care if he died?
  49.
  50. He starts to struggle, doing his best to flip over onto his stomach away from her blasting finger, quickly trying to struggle himself up, but he almost falls back over as he does so...he wasn't so injured that it became impossible after all.
  51.
  52. "Don't...I'm...I'm up"*
  53. Yuela says: . . Good. Then let's continue.
  54. *Yuela would notice the man up, as her palm contained that of a destructive swirling mass of a charge. . This was akin to Wyatt's, yet there was certainy in her bloodlust. ". . The enemy won't stop because you've said wait, Quinn.", she'd say as she mercilessly fires off a charge right at him once again even as he managed to stand.
  55.
  56. "Move. Keep moving. This tower will turn into your grave if you keep slacking off. If you are truly average as you say. . then you will most certainly die."*
  57. *Quinn throws the shield infront of him, but he knew it would only protect him from so much. Her blasts held power that not even Wyatt could come close to...what....this made no sense...she should be able to KILL all the demons on her own, how has she not already done that? was it some sort of law?...no...this had to be a nightmare, she was trying to take his life.
  58.
  59. "Die? If I was going to die...I would have...I would have let it happen long ago....Why would I want to die to you of all people?! You're a god. I'm not some sort of alien warrior."*
  60. Yuela says: Heeeeh, isn't that cute? You are right, Quinn~ I am strong enough to take on the demons myself. . I wouldn't have any use for a warrior that can't even take me down with my power held back, you know?
  61. Quinn realizes the merit in the whole 'your opponent wouldn't hesitate to kill you' thing. Instead of waiting for her to fire at him, he suddenly zipped over to her, sword in hand, slashing at her even if she was too powerful and fast to get hit.
  62.
  63. "*huff*....what kind of god is as flawed as you...only a fallen angel would think like you are"*
  64. *Yuela would walk over to Quinn, quite noticing her overwhelming damage having gone far enough to threaten his life. She'd walk up to him and step down on his bleeding chest as he struggled for survival, her dress parting away to reveal her exposed thigh adorned with jewelry.
  65.
  66. ". . Oh? Are you dying? Huh? That's too soon, ehehehe.", she'd dig down on him with her heel, yet sending a pulse of healing energy to revitalize the man while he - at the same time, felt an agonizing pain.
  67.
  68. "Oiii. What are you even doing?", she'd call out to him as he likely either spacing or spazzing out.
  69.
  70. "I didn't say you can die yet~", she'd say before drawing back her heel, and kicking him over to the side.
  71.
  72. "Stand up.", she'd say. This was no longer that of a battle of life and death, but torture until the man would dispel the limiter.*
  73. *Quinn could feel his heart slow down, his body burned with the ki she fired at him, and in his condition, he was going to die....being revived by a painful stomp on the chest. He could have died right then, but she stopped him. What the hell? At least let the man die.
  74.
  75. He gets the feeling this pain wouldn't end till he 'broke his limits', or didn't do anything for long enough that she got bored and let him die. He had to break his limits to live...he could break any part of his body, and as output even slightly more power, that would be it.
  76.
  77. Because of her healing him, he quickly kicked her away, swinging his momentum to toss himself back up, knowing full well his was only still alive from her own intervention. "*huff*..." He couldn't manage anymore words, his mind was starting to fully dedicate on fight or flight, his adrenaline was at it's peak, but there was just one slight thing he was missing before he could properly do it.*
  78. *Yuela would raise an eyebrow, as the man managed to kick himself away once he was resurrected with a pulsation of healing. " . . Oh?", she'd smile. Truly, the tenacity and will of man to survive once given the torch of life set alit once again.
  79.
  80. ". . Will you show me it? I'm getting impatient. . you know~? I might have to go and kill you afterall if this is all you can do~"
  81.
  82. She was not lying, as the very ground would gravitate against her divine powers. The goddess would power up a brief bit more, to prove her point.*
  83. *Quinn fought even harder than the past two times combined, going from doing nothing, to barely anything, to actually putting up a fight....but....it mattered not, she was holding back for her own enjoyment, the human was incredibly outclassed, and with one last blast of ki he was sent flailing into the ground...injured...and once more in a state where he could die.
  84.
  85. But, the pain was numb, after experiencing this sensation so many times, it was growing numb. His bones breaking, flesh cutting and tearing and burning. He fucked up by letting himself win, didn't he? He groans on the floor...and then....
  86.
  87. He roars
  88.
  89. The human would seem to regain the energy that was normally lost upon faltering, starting to stand back up with uneasy legs, his body clearly wanted to give out and stay on the floor, but he stood upright, not even saying so much as a word. Yes, it appeared he was surpassing his limits after all, the pain was ignored, and he felt as though he could swing his sword upon her twice as hard, he kicks off the ground, quite literally fracturing his leg in the process, but before he could swing his sword, his brain shuts down mid flgiht.
  90.
  91. Effectively, a corpse just flung itself into the goddess, still covered in blood as it loses the grip on it's weapon and shield...completely limp.*
  92. *Yuela would have left the man this time to succumb to his mortal injury. Though he had managed to deal impressive damage towards her in combat, it mattered little if he had failed to breach through his limits - only effectively having fought to its capacity. .
  93.
  94. She'd turn and proceeded to step forward, as if pondering her next move - but she'd hear it. Not the scream of pain, nor the throe of death. . But a roar of life.
  95.
  96. Turning around quickly, she'd find the man having immediately blasted himself forward near her - causing the very ground he stepped on to tear, and a great gust accompanying the arc of his final slash. .Her bangs, twintails and dress fluttered violently against the bringing of tempest.. The goddess' often composed face had a hint of fear for a moment, as she felt as something tug within her immediately and instinctively screaming at her to avoid the blow. . But he would have fallen, much to her fortune.. without being able to muster any more strength as he teetered close to death, he collapsed.
  97.
  98. Taking a few moments, she'd crouch and immediately get to mending to the unconscious man's fatalities - before managing to compose herself with a smile. And so she'd clap. "Well done, you've did it~", she'd say in a most innocent manner - whether or not he was conscious or not.*
