  1. Objective:
  2. Clear your cards by throwing down a card from your hand that matches the suit of the starting card. Throw down the highest value among the other players to become the leading player and choose which card the other players have to match suit with.
  3.
  4. Starting the game:
  5. At the beginning of every game, a deck of cards will be shuffled. The cards consist of the 13 cards each from the 4 suits Spades, Clubs, Hearts, and Diamonds + 3 additional cards: Black Joker, Red Joker, Joker. Each card is only seen once per game, and players will start with 5 cards each.
  6.
  7. Keep in mind that the deck of cards is NOT infinite, and each card will only appear once.
  8.
  9. Each player will be given 5 cards from the deck to start with. On the first cycle, the dealer will pull 1 card from the deck, and the other players have to match the suit of that card. When the card to match is selected by the dealer, who goes first will be determined by the value of cards in their hand. The player with the least value of cards in their hand will go first. If it is a tie, it will be settled by whoever has the lower peak value in their hand.
  10.
  11. (Note: In an 11 player game, there will not be any cards from the deck to deal in the first cycle, and the player who has the lowest value of cards in their hand will go first, become the leading player, and choose the card for everyone to match suit with.)
  12.
  13. --------------------------------------------------
  14. TERMINOLOGY
  15.
  16. Cycle: A cycle is defined as the gameplay where all other players must match suit of the card the leading player has chosen. A new cycle starts when a new leading player chooses a card for everyone to match suit.
  17.
  18. Complete cycle: A complete cycle occurs when the leading player chooses a card, and EVERYONE throws another card of that same suit, resulting in whoever threw down the highest value to become the leading player for the next cycle. A complete cycle also eliminates the cards that were played from the game in general, and are not seen again.
  19.
  20. Leading player: The player that can choose any card from their hand, and is the first player of the cycle. All other players will have to match suit of that card when possible.
  21. --------------------------------------------------
  22.
  23. Playing the game:
  24.
  25. On the first cycle, a card will be drawn from the deck, and all players will have to match the suit of that card to play. However, Jokers cards have a higher power over the card to match.
  26.
  27. Example 1: The card to match is 10 Spades. If the player has any Spades card, a Black Joker, or the Joker card, they can play that card.
  28. Example 2: The card to match is Jack Hearts. If the player has any Hearts card, a Red Joker, or the Joker Card, they can play that card.
  29.
  30. The Joker card can be played at any time, but the Black and Red Joker cards can only be played depending on the color of the suit. Black Joker will work if the matching suit is Spades or Clubs, and Red Joker will work if the matching suit is Hearts or Diamonds.
  31.
  32. At the end of the first cycle, whoever threw down the card of the highest value that matches the suit of the starting card will become the leading player, and choose a new matching card. However, if nobody threw down a higher value than the dealer, then the next card to match will be the next card in the deck. (same procedure as how the first cycle starts)
  33.
  34. What to do if a player has NO MATCHING CARDS:
  35. When it is a player's turn, and they have no playable cards, they will keep drawing cards from the deck until they have a card that they can play. Depending on the suits of the cards in your hand and in the deck, you could end up drawing 1 card, or several cards from the deck!
  36.
  37. But what if there are NO MATCHING CARDS IN THE DECK:
  38. If the 2nd player in the rotation (the player directly after the leading player) does not have any playable cards, they pick up the 1 card in play, and it is added to their hand. The player directly before them (the same leading player) gets to choose the new card to match again.
  39.
  40. If the 3rd player in the rotation (2 players after the leading player) does not have any playable cards, they pick up the 2 cards in play, and those cards are added to their hand. That same player will become the new leading player, and will be able to choose the new card to match. If a 3rd player or later does not have a matching card, they pick up all of the cards that were played in the current cycle, and are able to choose a new card to match.
  41.
  42. Penalties:
  43. There are 3 types of events that can happen in-game that can cause a penalty of some kind.
  44.
  45. 1 - Failing to call out "last card"
  46. Penalty: Pick up all of the cards that were played in the current cycle + 3 cards from the deck (if applicable). The player directly after the one who was penalized in this manner will become the new leading player.
  47.
  48. 2 - Falsely calling out "last card" when you do not actually have 1 card remaining
  49. Penalty: The host will reveal how many cards of the matching suit are in that player's hand.
  50.
  51. 3 - Not responding
  52. Penalty: After waiting a few minutes, that player's turn will be skipped. In this manner, it is possible for a complete cycle to occur without the non-responding player. This only applies if the player in question has multiple cards they can play, or has a matching card and must call out "last card" as they are throwing down their second to last card.
  53.
  54. Completing the game:
  55. When you are about to throw down the second to last card in your hand, you must call out in the main chat that you have 1 card remaining! This can be done in any way such as saying "uno" or "last card" or "I have 1 card left!" This must be done as you are throwing down the second to last card in your hand, and before the host updates their notes. If it's not, the same penalty rules will apply as stated above. You cannot throw Black Joker, Red Joker, or Joker as your last card.
  56.
  57. The game is over when 1 player successfully clears all of their cards from their hand, or when the cycle limit reaches 0. The other players are scored based on the value of cards in their hand. Whoever scores the second lowest value comes in 2nd place, third lowest comes in 3rd place, and so on. Scores are calculated as follows:
  58.
  59. Cards 2 through 10 = whatever number is on the card
  60. Kings, Queens, Jacks = 10 points
  61. Aces, Black Joker, Red Joker = 11 points
  62. Joker = 12 points
  63.
  64. Ties are settled by whoever has the lowest peak value in their hand.
  65.
  66. Example: 2 players score 9 points and have 2 cards in their hand. 1 player has 4 Spades and 5 Spades, and the other player has 3 Diamonds and 6 Diamonds. Since the second player has a lower peak value in their hand (3), the second player wins the tiebreaker. If the lowest peak value is tied, then whoever has the higher peak value in their hand loses the tiebreaker. If all values are the same, the tie will be settled with !choose command.
  67.
  68. The same scoring method at the end of the game is also used at the beginning of the game to calculate who will go first after the dealer lays out the first card to match.
