kang minhee was born into an average, middle-class family, just like most other people. of course, the kang family was more than grateful for having the basic necessities for living, while countless people were living in poverty. nonetheless, minhee's parents would constantly tell minhee that life isn't always fair and she needs to work hard in order to live however she desires. come junior high school, she worked harder until she received a scholarship and attended a christian school, instead of a public school with an infamous reputation. with minhee as a connection, her younger brother was also able to attend said christian school. as soon as she turned the legal working age, she got a part-time job at a fast food restaurant to help not only herself to purchase what she desired but her parents out with payments.
