  3. Living Up To A Legacy, Grandma Elora ---
  4.
  5. Of course he had a lot to live up to. Finally seeing his grandmother made him realize this. He was just brought into the world of magi not knowing too much despite being taught the bare essentials through his family. He had the weight of the world on his shoulders, making him shy, making him wait for the help to find him, though after his oath being made as a cadet. That part of him changed and so, he sought out his great grandmother, Elora for her guidance through the field of Medical science.
  6.
  7. [10:40] He had finally found his sister, speaking with their relative Elora, someone whom he wanted to be like, a profound medical profession. So, Uri would first greet his elder.
  8.
  9. "Gran! Did Faira tell you the news?---Well, seems she did," news of them swearing into the Order. Faira as a knight to be and Uri as a medical professionist. That's when he turned to Faira, "Hey, I don't think the higher ups would like to hear that... Erehn got scolded a bit for saying he was smarter than most."
  10.
  11. He did not want his sister facing punishment or going through physical training drills just because she expressed her achievement to their elder relative Elora.
  12.
  13. "I joined to be like you! I'm studying in the medical history of Osrona---Well, I havn't exactly gotten a lesson yet."
  14. (Uri Sanctum)
  15.
  16. [10:47] There was a light grin that took her wrinkled face.
  17.
  18. "Ooh, I see. I'm sorry I missed it sweetheart. But I had to make those rounds to the others.
  19.
  20. Some of our non-magi are getting older and more at risk of falling ill. I must do what I can to ensure they're healthy."
  21.
  22. Elora explained. Knowing full well her grandkids would understand. Or at least she hoped they would.
  23.
  24. "I've missed you too Faira. But that's wonderful news! Really it is. I'm happy for you. You'll go far my dear, I know it."
  25.
  26. The Elder assured her granddaughter before looking on to her approaching grandson. To whom the same kind and loving smile was given.
  27.
  28. "Well, there's one of my handsome grandsons. But yes and yes."
  29.
  30. The Doctor paused just there then smiled on fondly as Uri spoke. Wanting to study Medicine and apply it as she had. Something Elora would most certainly help him achieve.
  31.
  32. "You needbut ask for a lesson baby, I'll help you."
  33.
  34. The loving grandmother of many said. She often used terms like that to show her endearment to the other. Just after that, Elora turned back to the Acolyte.
  35.
  36. "By keeping the will to save and simply do good in my heart. By putting others before me. To act as their shield against whatever may ail them."
  37.
  38. Vague, probably, but it was her honest and true answer.
  39. (Elora Renae Otho)
  40.
  41.
  42. [10:56] He smiled, for the road towards the Phoenix felt like it was so far, but close under the comfort and wing of his relative, a person who just may be considered his great grandmother if anything. "Really? There's so much I want to learn from you, like... Fixing up someone's leg, it looks so nasty, how do you mend bone?" He was curious of the science behind it all, how to apply mana-science to medical science and when to do such.
  43.
  44. Already he was attuned with fire, so at the least, he had a warm heart towards those around him. Though at the same time, he could use that same warmth to fight.
  45.
  46. But right now, all he wanted, more than anything, was to obtain some form of notes, something he could study while Elora took her time to adjust to this new world and the students she might have flying to her in the future once everyones up and at it. "I want to help those in and out of battle, like a Phoenix, with fire that defends and gives warmth tothe injured, hehe... It's been my dream since I read one of the family stories. But, there's so many, the Mortal Constellation's a huge book!"
  47.
  48. He would give them some time to speak, he realized he was too excited to see his grandmother. Actually, so much so that he reverted back to being shy for a minute or two. "Grandmother, if you have any... Could you give me, a few notes? Books I can study." He referred to Human anatomy and the likes.
  49. (Uri Sanctum)
  50.
  51. [11:04] Another smile took her expression as she listened to them speak. It warmed her heart to know that her grandchildren would take up after their parents and herself even. If only just a little bit.
  52.
  53. "Mhm, and you shall do a fine job Faira. I'm sure of it."
  54.
  55. She assured the younger girl before lifting a brow. The follow-up question that came didn't take her by surprise, but, it did grab at her own curiosity.
  56.
  57. "Of course dear, of course. I'd absolutely love to."
  58.
  59. A nod was given then those aged forest green hues shifted to Uri.
  60.
  61. "All in time Uri, all in time. Fixing a bone is hard to explain and even more difficult to apply.
  62.
  63. Before you start diving into a surgery like that, you need to learn the basics. I'll teach you everything that I can, I promise."
  64.
  65. Coming to an assuring end, the elder had given a few small nods. Ones in short quick succession. There after she'd listen as he explainedwhat he wanted to do.
  66.
  67. In truth it sounded much like that of his parents. Though upon his follow-up question Elora blinked a few times. Having drawn herself from thought for the moment.
  68.
  69. "Oh, hmm.. Y'know I probably should have been keeping paper notes all this time. I could have written two or three books if I had."
  70.
  71. There was a light chuckle as she continued.
  72.
  73. "But everything is still up here."
  74.
  75. The Elder lightly tapped the side of her head.
  76.
  77. "I still remember everything. Every procedure, every major surgery, every minor surgery. I remember everything so you needn't worry about missing anything.
  78.
  79. I'll get you there, Uri. I promise."
  80. (Elora Renae Otho)
  81.
  82. [11:10] Tugging on Uri's sleeve she reminded him they needed to focus on something important before bothering Elora!
  83.
  84. "Uri Uri, we need to get coin remember! We need to finish helping pay for our parents home. For now we need to get going Great Grandmother Elora!"
  85.
  86. Faira would then tug on Uri a bit more hoping to pull him off so they could get to work. The faster she finished the better off they would be honestly!
  87. She did pause however to give Elora a warm hug before trying to make her way off and begin to day accordingly after farming she then maybe do patrols around the inner workings of Osrona and see if she could practice with some of her peers.
  88.
  89. As a budding Magi as well as Cadet of the Order she would make sure her duties would come first before relaxing!
  90. (Faira La Enfer Sanctum)
  91. [11:10] She'd see she was a bit of a nuisance to the gathering family members so she scurried off. She didn't want to interrupt or get in the way of a reunion or anything of the likes, so she went then to the church just northeast of them by the fountain.
  92. (Acolyte Jamey)
  93. [11:12] His spirits grew brighter from the nurturing words of his grandmother. He looks to Faira with much confidence despite his usual shy attitude, shifting his own green hues between the likes of his sister and grandmother.
  94.
  95. He smiled, because he knew that she would keep her promise, just as she has always done, raising them, teaching them the religions of Osrona and guiding them up to this point and beyond. The elder Otho had many years of experience on her shoulders, and because the wisdom was all there within her mind, maybe she had no true need for books, for the greatest page is the blank mind of those willing to learn.
  96.
  97. Uri is alerted by Faira's calling. "Oh Right! We gotta get that done huh?! But luckily! Look!" He showed Faira his baggy of 483 little coinies…. "I've been working when you were asleep," Uri says with a low tone.
  98.
  99. He turns back to Elora, only to hug his elderly grandmother, "Thanks Gran! I'll do you proud! I promise! I've even been looking at uhm...What's the word, superficial? Yeah, very superficial injuries just to get familiar!" He nods his head, now standing by Faira after releasing the hug.
  100.
  101. "I promise, I won't dishonor your legacy."
  102. (Uri Sanctum)
  103.
  104. [11:16] Just as their conversation was growing it came to an end. Though, such was the life of young teenagers and an old woman.
  105.
  106. So with an encouraging smile Elora would speak. To the both of them in fact.
  107.
  108. "Oh, I see. Well don't let me keep you. Go out and be safe. I love you both and I will be here for you whenever and however you'll need me.
  109.
  110. Always."
  111.
  112. That loving motherly side of her had come forth. From there on Elora would stand and watch as the two Sanctums headed off.
  113. (Elora Renae Otho)
