  1. from /hhg/ - Hazbin Hotel #316
  2. ---------
  3. >Magical girl HH
  4. >the anons are villains of the week
  5. -
  6. how will that work?
  7. -
  8. >Lucifer cares about charlie but cant openly support her because politics
  9. >So he hires alastor who infiltrates charlies little gang of heros who in turn hires the anons to act as adversity against charlie
  10. >Most of them are treated as high ranking mooks and get taken down in what equates to an episode
  11. >While anons like chan or gospel are treated more like a walking natural disaster and hitman respectively
  12. >Dome can join the group of heros after getting their redemption arc, like sting because angel would be in the group so that adds bromance/yaoi bait
  13. >Chan would be the kind of villain that would have to be outlasted/forced to get bored if the fight and leave
  14. >I dont know how to handle bible dad but whatever
  15. >Some anons would be paired up like john and chan or zap and stretch
  16. -
  17. >Chan the raid boss
  18. -
  19. Rule 101: No romance between anons. or "You and i get paid to beat the shit out of kids together"
  20. You wouldn't fuck random strangers from a thread you visit on a Tibetan Basket weaving forum, now would you?
  21.
  22. Great idea, otherwise, allow me to elaborate:
  23.
  24. >John: not really an adversary, more like a living, continuous escort mission, who's ultimately beneficial in the sense that he creates a modicum of normalcy, and gets the group some perks
  25. >Sting: enforcer of a local drug baron, a dealer himself, something of a "Noble Dragon", ultimately ends up in the Hotel after reconnecting with Angel
  26. >Noir: anti-villain, his path simply crosses with that of the Hotel, and they couldn't agree with each others' methods. Becomes a satellite ally to them later on
  27. >Gospel: incredibly powerful hitman, hired by some peeved low nobles to get rid of Alastor. Passive and defensive, but once his ire is raised, he absolutely wrecks everyone's shit. Ultimately calmed down by recognizing Cherri as his long-lost daughter (and Vaggie as the girl he helped in El Salvador). Joins the Hotel afterwards
  28. >Bratislav: another hitman/enforcer, temporarily assisting I.M.P. in a misguided attempt at a raid on the Hotel, decides to stay because Gospel and the others are there, resulting in a truce between I.M.P. and the Hotel. Becomes a mentor to Vaggie
  29. >Bronson: Vigilante targeting Alastor, fighting him is akin to a chaotic shootout. Continues to assist the Hotel from afar afterwards
  30. >Pockets: on-again, off-again love of Angel Dust, competent fighter and thief, his path sometimes crosses with that of the Hotel's, but there's never an open confrontation, and he sometimes ends up helping them (if he gains something from it - including spending time with Angel)
  31. >Doc: dangerously competent and cold blooded assistant to Sir Pent (a recurring villain in his own right), to the point where even the snake's disturbed by his merciless methods. Proves to be invaluable for handling disasters
  32.
  33. Care for the rest?
  34. -
  35. >Care for the rest?
  36.
  37. yes, I want to see more of this
  38. -
  39. Alright.
  40. >Swinga': entertainer and informant secretly working for Henroin (as he did in real life). Sent to the Hotel ostensibly to redeem himself, but in actuality, is there to spy on Angel, and Charlie's operations. Eventually, his mission changes from "finding a weak point to the Hotel" (after Henroin concludes that it is, in fact, "made entirely of weak points"), to "giving reports on the Hotel's progress and Angel's wellbeing"
  41. >Gambler: gambling troublemaker who accidentally ends up alive in Hell (as per his original origin), continues to be a minor bother, until witnessing Zagreus' dastardly actions leads to him reconsider his own, and nearly sacrificing his soul in a card game to save the Hotel. Becomes its accountant afterwards
  42. >Mek: supplies a bunch of orkish gangs with equipment without much care for what they do with it, until a pissed Hotel staff tracks him down for an explanation as to why he's been supplying raiders against them. Becomes a minor ally later on
  43. >Crow: the first serious minor villain, episodes featuring him have a certain horror element to them, and even when he had seemingly "made peace" with the Hotel, his reappearance (non-violent as they are) frequently heralds an inbound darker episode or story arc
  44. >Stretch: minor mook who reveals his powers to Charlie and the gang, but joining her side gradually unlocks his full, terrifying potential. Also adds some quirky "off-style" animation flair to the episodes whenever he's using his powers. Almost becomes an embittered anti-hero and outright villain later on, before breaking away from the toxic influences that lead to his bitterness
  45. >Zap: initially seen as a surprise sidekick for Stretch, he later becomes a powerful character in his own right (already on the Hotel's side), being able to take out most electricity-related villains in a spectacular fashion. Is eventually revealed to fear loosing his humanity, and becoming a mindless lightning elemental
  46.
  47. Shall I continue?
  48. -
  49. >Shall I continue?
  50.
  51. yes
  52. -
  53. OK.
  54. >Keys: Makes several cameos before appearing properly, acts like a came for the most of his episode. Steals information and items for the highest bidder. Is accidentally discovered when infiltrating the Hotel at the behest of 666 News (to gain some scandalous material on them). Is seemingly allied with them later on, but he's always out of focus
  55. >Athanasius: discovered in the desert by Charlie during a mission, temporarily possessed by Lucifer to have him fight against the gang, measuring their capabilities, is released when the REAL villain of the week shows up, proves himself to be an effective (if slow) defensive sentinel. Ends up voluntarily guarding the Hotel
  56. >Funzie: initially seen as nothing more than a quirky new employee at 666 News, his motives are never quite clear, but he seems to be friendly towards everyone, if highly eccentric and fun, though certain things seem to trigger him very badly. Like Stretch, his powers cause severe mindfuck, but unlike the former's perspective fucklery (and animation style showcasing), Funzie seems to break reality in a Vaporwave-like fashion when agitated
  57. >Postal: the first major "tragic" mook, he leaves a path of destruction in his wake after snapping, leaving Hell's upper management devastated, while remaining highly elusive to Charlie and the others, despite being a high profile shooter. Is eventually stopped by Crow and Bronson, and delivered to the Hotel for "rehabilitation", his abilities nerfed, but still remains a loose canon
  58. >Zagreus: estranged cousin of Charlie, and a major villain from time-to-time, only balking from his actions if they cause serious, immediate harm to Charlie and the others. At times, his schemes elevate him to outright villainy, and he becomes a nemesis to Charlie on par with Solagne, or some of the overlords, but always ends up chickening out the moment he looses control over the situation, and, at times, even allies with the Hotel (ESPECIALLY against Solagne)
  59. -
  60. And, finally...
  61. >Chan: ranges from blessing to an impending Armageddon. Incredibly powerful and unpredictable, isn't allied with anyone, takes shit from no-one. Seems to have it out for Exterminators, being one of the few people to be able to defeat them. He's either unknown, or feared. Often appears as a one-man disaster, rarely crossing paths with the Hotel, but sometimes setting off the events of the week. Is eventually hired to destroy the Hotel, and sends his board clones to deal with it, but changes his mind when he's about to achieve victory, deciding to join it instead. His legion syndrome keeps him from becoming too powerful, and his myriad of connections (much like that of Noir's, Stretch's or Bratislav's) makes him a valuable asset - making him the Hotel's main liaison with 666 News, and allowing them to contact Funzie. Is the de facto leader of the anons, through the group is fairly anarchic in nature. Has little respect for Hell's demons, and is often seen as parallel with Lucifer, the two coming to spats over subjects such as humanity or Lucifer's downfall. Despite being an absolute Chad, the fact that he's 4Chan incarnate makes him mildly vulnerable to high level sexual demons (Lilith especially). He's the first one to demonstrate the anons' "reverse possession" ability, by temporarily "possessing" Charlie, imbuing her with his powers and aspects of his personality (creating the "4Charlie" fusion, much to everyone's dismay)
