- 4:55 - Keep to rotations. Notice how the defender is pushing up. Take his position. Trail behind him and take to the defense.
- 4:51 - Looking to the subtleties, don't stop your momentum. This slows you down and makes getting back or to the ball that much harder. Although your teammate was there, keep moving forward. Turn away from him, even if you have to get close, it's better than stopping entirely. Just try to spread out as soon as possible.
- 4:43 - Good rotation. Getting back could be a little faster but still. I point this out so you can see an example of yourself doing something correctly.
- 4:30 - I was thinking before hand, "Oh yay, he's going to rotate back," But then you turned. Rotate back!
- 4:18 - Really try to use that swivel stick (right joystick more). You need to know where your teammates are. Even without looking, you should have a good idea in your mind that there's one teammate at ball and the other is back probably encroaching to get the clear. You have yet to rotate back to goal once without the ball being there first.
- 4:15 - Look where everyone is. The goal was wide open. You had a bad angle. Imagine what would have happened if you were to rotate behind Frank and let him go for it. 9/10 times at the very least, if Frank will score if he goes for the ball.
- 4:08 - Major case of Ball Chasing fever.
- 3:50 - You finally go back to goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- 3:38 - No, no, no. You spread out very nicely, but then you cut outside. Don't do this. You had 2 teammates on the left side. Never cut like that unless you have coordination with your teammates. Especially when you are at a level where they are thinking similarly to you.
- 3:32 - I saw that little flick. I know what you were trying to do. You don't need to always be in ball cam. Practice switching out of ball cam from time to time. If you did, then you would have seen your teammate going right for it. Using the swivel is nice, but you shouldn't use it to look in-front of you. It mainly to look at your sides when the ball is in a weird spot. What I am mainly trying to get at is that you really need to know where your teammates are especially when you're trying to contest at awkward angles. With that said, you really didn't even need to contest this at all. It was on their side and next to a wall. Since Ryan was rotating back, it would have been in your best benefit to go straight to mid-field for the pass or to see what happens. You did actually do this, but since you did such a sharp drift, you lost all of your momentum and wasted time.
- 3:05 - Ironically, this is the one time you actually do want to contest the ball. You had the most momentum and you probably would have gotten to the ball before anyone else.
- 2:43 - Don't go across the field like that. There's no benefit.
- 1:56 - These sharp turns in the mid-field hurt to watch. You're losing momentum when you don't need to. If you have room and time to make a big turn, then do it. Just don't lose your momentum that close to the ball and away from a wall.
- 1:47 - You're going across field again and driving right toward your teammate who is literally stopping just so he doesn't collide with you.
- 1:45 - This is another subtlety. I don't know if you were pre-jumping dad or if you were actually trying to get to the ball but either way doing it that early when the ball is rolling on or next to the wall is extremely tough since the ball can go in so many directions.
- 1:32 - You're scaring poor Frank.
- 1:25 - Rule of thumb - The player contesting gets the mid-boost.
- 1:23 - Rotate to the middle and stay back. Don't stop moving. You are the last man back. You have the least priority to that ball. Protect the goal. You're up by 2. You have no reason to be so aggressive.
- 0:49 - As of this moment you could clearly see Frank the whole time. I know you wanted to get the ball out of the center, but he was right there for the clear.
- 0:25 - You're up by 1 with 25 seconds left. What do you think is the best decision here?
- 0:11 - With so little time left, why leave the goal wide open?

- Summary
- It is clear that you are working on what we discussed from the previous replay. You're not double commiting (possibly because your partners are a lot more cautious) and you are at least trying to look around more. With that said, you have become even more aggressive than before. I kept count and I even marked it; you only rotated back to goal 1 time when the ball was not there. You need to do this more. Your biggest downfalls right now is that you only do half of a rotation and you ball chase. There should never be a reason to contest a ball, then follow it all the way to the other side of the field without having constant control. If the ball is every actually on the other side of the field, instead of going to it, get back. If there's 3 people on the field, then the chances are very high that you'd have a teammate who'd get there first with a better hit.
- What you really should be thinking is that whenever you contest and lose the ball, head back until you know exactly where everyone is, where they are heading, and what they are going to do next, then position yourself according. Don't follow the ball. Even if at these times you had every right to go for it, almost every time the other team made a clear, you were always behind the ball and the last man to get back, which includes the other team. Try to be more patient. In future games, don't even think about whether you should hit the ball or not. Just try to have the mindset of staying back whenever possible. See what happens.
- Lastly, even though I hate to recommend this, you should maybe try playing 1s more. I know you'll probably get frustrated. Stick to casual then. 1s will teach you the importance of patience and it will get hammered into your head. When you do get so frustrated that you simply want to smash your computer in several times, take a deep breath, maybe yell, get a punching bag, and keep playing. If you can play through your frustration, you'll be able to fix the hardships of 1s and really buckle down your patience. I know I'm doing a lot of rambling, but I just want to make sure I'm not leaving out important points.
- As an extra tidbit, I'm going to be a lot more blunt with you from now on. You have potential, but the only way to unlock that potential is to be brutally honest. I'm not going to bash you or anything, but I will just be more straight forward.
