  88. If one of the above files is missing, you're dealing with an
  89. incomplete and altered archive of this game. There's only one source
  90. of where to get these rips and that's retroCast. All other torrent
  91. sites, forums and DDL-sites are no reliable ressources and are not
  92. supported by me. In fact, they only profit from other people's work
  93. without any effort by themselves, so get the stuff from the one
  94. source that also releases these rips.

  102. Drag and drop the ECM-file on unecm.exe to get the CDI-image and burn
  103. it with your favourite app. If you're using a mac, then get the
  104. mac-version of unecm. Why I don't deliver the CDI directly I
  105. hear you ask. CDI-images for DC-games come with tons of useless
  106. correction data, which is uncompressible. In case of an 80min image,
  107. this data sums up to 95MB of additional uncompressible garbage. In
  108. case of full 99min images it's even higher. So this adds a ton of
  109. weight to the archive and to your download time. Do this a few
  110. hundred times for all DC-games and you're up for a collection, which
  111. is a real space waster, let alone the additional time it takes to
  112. upload and download the rips.

  120. The corporate intros and the trailer that played right after them
  121. had to go, as well as unused game data. The intros and the trailer
  122. are already included on disc 1, so you're not missing out on anything
  123. here. On the contrary, the corporate intros and logos can't be
  124. skipped. Therefor, you usually have to wait half a minute till you
  125. can finally resume the game. Having to stand this each time you throw
  126. in disc 1 is already badly enough, but having to bare that for a disc,
  127. which only purpose is it to let you resume a game is just ridiculous.
  128. So, I consider this as being one of the rare occasions, where ripping
  129. actually enhances the gaming experience.

  131. As for the actual game data, nothing has been ripped or downsampled.
