<Rosenkrantz_GM> While Wilhelm is expected to return to the Admiralty for a few more hearings, this may well be enough leverage for Admiral Lawrence. Before the matters at the Admiralty are concluded, however, you are requested to join Lord Chomun at court, as he presents the Claim on Faith to Scintillan authorities.
<Rosenkrantz_GM> Already, however, the whispers tell you that the Admiralty has become more 'agreeable'.
<Rosenkrantz_GM> The Consequence's final details are being overseen by Master Ziel, while your contacts in the Navy, as well as those of the Rosenkrantz Scion Friedrich, are slowly being pulled in to help in the "specifics" of the relationship the Dynasty will have with the Imperial Navy. While it isn't information volunteered to you, the whispers also tell you that a certain concession has been made as regards your command of the vessel in exchange for the manpower and equipment the Consequence will need.

<Rosenkrantz_GM> He reaches over to a parchment held by his aide, and in a semi-ceremonius fashion hands it to you.
<Rosenkrantz_GM> "The Emperor smiles upon you, Lady-Captain," he emphasizes the new style with which he addresses you. The parchment is nothing less than a Letter of Marque.
<Rosenkrantz_GM> "This Letter of Marque licenses Captain Lucrezia Isabelle Gillam to pursue the interests of the patron Dynasty Rosenkrantz in the Koronus Expanse, permitting free travel to carry out such duties in the void beyond Port Wander, and being offered the customary refuge in installations of His Imperial Navy, for so long as she and her vessel, The Consequence, remain in service to their Patron Dynasty. The legal ties between this document and the Rosenkrantz Warrant of Trade are bound by the same sanctified authority with which the Warrant was issued, and is therefore said to be 'protected' by said Warrant - to be recognized by all Imperial Officials who may encounter the Consequence and her Masters in their duties.
<Rosenkrantz_GM> The Status of Free-Captain is therefore granted to the Lady-Captain when acting inside the Imperium's Holy Boundaries, she and her vessel unbound to specific routes or restrictions of travel, subject only to the Laws and Limitations which forbid unauthorized travel within the Calixis Sector, as recognized by the authorities on Scintilla, acting in the name of Lord Sector Marius Hax.
<Rosenkrantz_GM> In the pursuit of her duties, any and all Imperial vessels encountered in the Expanse by the Consequence shall enjoy the Benefits of Quarter, Parole, and Aid, in all cases save those which compromise the duties which the vessel shall perform in service to the Imperium in general, and the Rosenkrantz Dynasty in particular. Upon return to Imperial Space, all prisoners held shall be paroled to the Imperial Navy, the Adeptus Arbites, or any planetary governor able to hold said prisoners.
<Rosenkrantz_GM> Honoring the freedom with which the vessel and her Captain have been given, the Consequence and her company shall come to the aid and assistance of Battlefleet Koronus when ordered to do so, whilst maintaining the right to operate in manner found proper to the vessel's Captain.

<Rosenkrantz_GM> Heinrich: "Nothing of the sort, nothing of the sort. Now... the matter detailed on the final paragraph is still one up for negotiation, but it is something which was necessary in order to gain Battlefleet Koronus's blessing."
<Lucrezia> "I'm rather agreeable to it, as long as the calls are not very frequent. It'd be nice to fight for the Navy again."
<Lucrezia> "Always helps to have future commodores and admirals in gratitude too."
<Rosenkrantz_GM> Heinrich: "Something which your recent actions have only underscored," he chuckles.

<Lucrezia> "Any idea on where I could get a list of my command staff and assorted officers."
<Rosenkrantz_GM> Heinrich: "Presently, the Commanding officer of the Consequence is one Titus Harriot. He shall serve as your First Officer. His bridge crew shall naturally come into your own service, though should you wish it, we could request for others from the Battlefleet."
<Lucrezia> "I see. I'd like to meet them before making any decisions of that gravity."

<Rosenkrantz_GM> In the last few weeks, Lord Wilhelm has effectively disappeared into Scintilla, pulling in favors, and making requests to authorities in order to advance the Dynasty's interests.
<Rosenkrantz_GM> As a result, he has left you in charge of all that relates to the Mechanicus, with the rather brief requests that the station be deemed accessible to non-explorator vessels, and for extended support of the Mechanicus to the new vessel - the Consequence.
<Rosenkrantz_GM> You have had to organize all the usual things... repairs and rites and refittings of the Aurorae - along with the general oversight into the preparations for the Consequence, as well as the contacts with the Lathe Worlds in order to carefully navigate the disclosure of the nature and location of the Voidstation... and its sinister contents.

<Rosenkrantz_GM> Your great-uncle Heinrich has kept you in the loop of things. Being a distant scion of the Dynasty, you've always known that your family has its hands on several ventures, and that the true treasure is a far-away vessel, effectively lost in the void to you.
<Rosenkrantz_GM> Of course, you became more aware of the legacy of your family when the transition of the Warrant resulted in a war between your uncles Johannes and Wilhelm, but your duties in the Imperial Navy kept you from being actively involved.
<Rosenkrantz_GM> Heinrich goes over the events with you, and brings you up to speed with the events that have lead to the Aurorae coming to Scintilla.
<Rosenkrantz_GM> He has kept you close, hoping to implant in you the importance of the family legacy, and the need for the family to put all of its assets to use. In your case, it is your contacts in the Navy, and your skills as a pilot which have brought you here.
<Rosenkrantz_GM> Your eyes, in fact, are the very first to lay eyes on the Letter of Marque which he has acquired for the operation of The Consequence, a Dauntless=Class light cruiser which is now in possession of the Dynasty. A ship, you're rather pleased to know,that acts as a pocket carrier, with the cpacity to house several wings of attack spacecraft.

<Rosenkrantz_GM> In the last few weeks on Scintilla, the wait for the preparation of The Consequence has run in parallel with many other preparations as regards the Claim on Faith, and the discovery of the voidstation orbitting it. As a signatory witness to the Claim, you have been requested to join Lord Chomun in Court for the presentation of the document which he now protects. Additionally, because of Lord Wilhelm's plans to personally oversee the development of Faith, he has asked that you join the soon to be Lady-Captain, that you may spread the word to worlds beyond Faith. While he wishes to include your Order in the process of civilizing the native population, Wilhelm has left the matter entirely in your hands. Whether or not you are willing to make contact with those you have left behind in your turbulant past, it is expected that you organize a Mission in the name of Saint Interlocutus, for he has recently been ascended as Patron of the Rosenkrantz Dynasty, despite protests from within the Dynasty who wish to see Macharius as its sole Patron.
