  1. (A/N: This was the first written MrToadPatriot story, but it was lost until now)
  2.
  3. Two brothers sat on different sides of a great expansive border.
  4.
  5. George Smith lived in a mid sized suburban town of Large Rapids, Minnesota on the very northern edge of the state. His town had a population of approximately 647,000 people most of whom where white color workers, Republicans and Lutherans (though George himself was Episcopalian), the town was also very white with many children and even some adults there having never seen a black person in real life before but I digress. George Smith was an accountant; he began his day at exactly 6:30 AM when he gets up, brushes his teeth, puts on a 3 piece suit with a black tie, a white shirt, a black suit jacket, black pants, a black belt with a golden buckle, black socks, black loafers, and a modest silver analog watch he wears around his wrist. An average breakfast for George Smith consists of a bowl of special K Cereal and a large mug of black coffee that he consumes at 6:40 AM. At 6:50 AM he gets into his blue Honda Civic and drives to his work at Johnson and Smith's Accounting Firm, which is about a 10 minute drive from his suburban gated community of Several Acres, his wife of course handles the kids and their needs for school. George walks into his office at 7:00 AM and spends his day helping various clients with accounting needs until approximately 12:30 PM, when he has his lunch break. He goes to the firm cafeteria and buys an organic mozzarella turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread with fresh tomatoes and kale lettuce, a large bottle of Fiji water and a box of potato salad, and spends about 10 minutes consuming his meal until 12:40 AM when he heads back to his work to do the same thing until approximately 7:00 PM, when he packs up his work supplies and heads back to his Honda Civic and returns home at 7:20 PM, opens the door says hello to his family eats a large meal of fresh meatloaf with gravy, green beans mashed potatoes and gravy and a tall glass of water. He spends some time in his basement working on his large scale diorama of the battle of Gettysburg from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, when he goes back up the stairs takes off his work clothes, putting them neatly away, and donning striped matching pajama pants and pajama shirt and goes to bed by 10:00 PM at night.
  6.
  7. John A. Smith lived in a mid sized suburban town of Beaver's Pass, Ontario on the very southern edge of the province, just on the top of Minnesota. His town had a population of approximately 450,000 people most of whom where white color workers, Conservatives and Presbyterians (though John himself was Episcopalian), the town was also very white with many children and even some adults there having never seen a First Nations person in real life before but I digress. John A Smith was a lawyer; he began his day at exactly 6:30 AM when he gets up, brushes his teeth, puts on a 3 piece suit with a dark blue tie, a white shirt, a black suit jacket, black pants, a black belt with a golden buckle, white socks, brown loafers, and a modest faux gold analog watch he wears around his wrist. An average breakfast for John A. Smith consists of frozen waffles thawed to perfection and a large mug of black coffee that he consumes at 6:40 AM. At 6:50 AM he gets into his red Dodge Caliber and drives to his work at MacDonald and Smith's Law Firm, which is about a 10 minute drive from his suburban gated community of Maple Miles, his wife of course handles the kids and their needs for school. John walks into his office at 7:00 AM and spends his day helping various clients with legal needs until approximately 12:30 PM, where he has his lunch break. He goes to the firm cafeteria and buys an organic provolone chicken sandwich on whole wheat bread with fresh tomatoes and kale lettuce, a large bottle of Dasani water, and a box of potato salad, and spends about 10 minutes consuming his meal until 12:40 AM when he heads back to his work to do the same thing until approximately 7:00 PM, when he packs up his work supplies and heads back to his Dodge Caliber and returns home at 7:20 PM, opens the door says hello to his family eats a large meal of fresh Salisbury Steak with gravy, asparagus, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a tall glass of water. He spends some time in his basement working on his large scale diorama of the battle of the Somme from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, when he goes back up the stairs takes off his work clothes, putting them neatly away, donning plaid matching pajama pants and pajama shirt and goes to bed by 10:00 PM at night.
  8.
  9. John and George decided to meet up one day at the halfway point of their two towns on the border in Moose Creek Binational Park. George got down from his Honda Civic and exclaimed "Hello John how has life treated you in Canada?" leaving his hand our for his brother to shake.
  10.
  11. John got down from his Dodge Caliber and ejaculated "It's been great I personally think that the social safety net is rather nice though I worry that Justin Trudeau may be a little too far to the left, how are the states treating you?" and he shook his brother's hand.
  12.
  13. George Smith exclaimed "I love the United States because it has economic policies that support a good hard working man such as mysel,f even in a socialist hellhole like Minnesota. I personally would never except handouts like you do in Canada but I respect your decision to do so. While I did vote for Donald Trump, I worry he's too crass and too much of an isolationist, I personally miss the Bushes."
  14.
  15. John nodded and reflected "One could argue that it is for the best to have a social safety net in moderation but it certainly isn't worth electing a socialist like Kamala Harris or a communist like Bernie Sanders over. I was also personally hoping for Jeb Bush to become President down there but I still think it's for the best that Trump beat Cruz and Rubio in he primaries trust me as someone who lives under Trudeau I know that Latin people are too frivolous and illogical to run a country properly."
  16.
  17. George nodded and sagely remarked "Yes it's all a matter of blood quantums and skull shapes really and seeing how a Frenchman who's already closer to being African than Anglo Saxons like ourselves is ruining your country I don't think we could afford a Spanish President, especially after that disaster of actual African Barack Obama, it's a good thing we got a German President but I blame his wild Celtic side for his erratic foreign policy choices and his lack of manners personally."
  18.
  19. John nodded and remarked "Yes, I work and live with many Scotsmen in my home town, and while I'm thankful that my neighborhood is so white I almost feel like I'm actually in the hood sometimes, I wish I lived with more Germanic people like you."
  20.
  21. George shook his head "While the Scandinavians are racially calm and rational, they unfortunately seem extra drawn to socialism as you can see in how they run their countries and my state, even my town which is conservatives is full of Bill Weld loving RINOs who even voted to allow one Somali family into our town, I worry about my children thinking that they've allowed a potential terrorist in but seeing how Sweden is now I know it might get even worse."
  22.
  23. John gasped "Oh that is very sad, I thought with Trump you'd be protected from the Muslim onslaught we've had with Trudeau, I'd offer you a place up here but my town is scheduled to take in 5 Syrian refugees so I'm afraid it's even worse."
  24.
  25. After lamenting the Muslim invasion of North America the brothers caught up on their personal lives and families, as well as discussed the weird social project that led to the two being separated into the two sides of the border, conducted by their crazed sociobiologist mother, but that's all the time we have for today I'm afraid.
