Chicago Trump Protest Arrests via Assata's Daughters

Statement from Assata's Daughters, For Immediate Release:

On Friday night, young black and brown organizers successfully shutdown a Trump Rally at UIC. They were met with violence and hate from Trump supporters and the CPD.

Fights ensued between mainly white Sanders supporters and Trump supporters and yet the CPD, in large numbers, physically became aggressive with the young black and brown organizers. One young black man was beaten severely and suffered a head injury and then arrested. Two young men of color are still being held and charged on trumped up charges. The charges are false and outrageous.

There is bond court today at 1:30pm. At 26th and California. The people will be rallying in support of these two organizers both inside and outside.
