  6. Welcome to Night City. She doesn't look too bad, does she? Hell, with all those high rises and all that chrome, she still looks shiny and new. You'd never guess that she's suffered multiple riots, a few corporate wars, and borderline class based cleansing. She's an ugly city on the inside, but she's home. Ignore the jack booted tin gods that pretend they're decent cops, while the real gum shoes do overtime trying to help folks who aren't corporate entities; and don't no pay no mind to the booster gangs that vie for dominance in the slums and in the combat zones, they're jokes if you know the right people. So c'mon Cyberpunk, whether you're a tricked out borg who wants to play solo, or a chromed up hacker who's trying their hand at being a net runner, Night City has a niche for you. It's a bloody game, and a fast, hard, ride that's probably going to end in you sucking on the barrel of a gun in the end, but you won't be bored, and you damn sure won't find time to complain. This place is a dystopian nightmare, but if you play your cards right, it can be a revolutionary's dream.

  8. Guidelines:
  9. 1.] The room is roughly based in Cyberpunk 2020. Check the resource guides posted below to get an idea of stuff.
  10. 2.] Crossovers to an extent are fine. Mass Effect, Aliens, Blade Runner type 'verses fit in fine. Fallout? Not so much. Star Wars? Nope. Star Trek? Maybe. Remember, there's no real magic in Cyberpunk. Biotics? Sure! Psionic/Psychic abilities? To an extent, yes. Some fantasy elements are fine, but things like legitimate vampires are sort of a no go. High Science Fiction is one thing, High Fantasy is another entirely.
  11. 3.] Don't be a condescending dick out of character, be one in character all you'd like!
  12. 4.] Combat is generally T1, or Turnbased Logic. Use your basic, common, sense or the Mods/Admin'll use theirs for you.
  13. 5.] Feel free to jump in. There's no registry or bullshit like that. It's free play, it's open play. Just keep your head about you and we'll be as golden as the apple that fucked up Troy.
  14. 6.] Night City is pretty much 'make your own plot,' but the Mods/Admin will generally, and happily, try and accommodate you into the main plot the best that we can.
  15. 7.] Any important questions can be mailed to Tobias Lynch on RPC.
  16. 8.] Try to use common sense. There's consequences to your actions. You attack a booster gang with no back up? You're gonna have a bad time, even if you live. You disrespect a crime boss? You're gonna have a really bad time. You steal from a corporation? You're gonna have a team of solos up your ass with a bunch of borgs makin' you take it, and that's just the worst time of all.
