Molly is a teen who works with her father, an ex-cop turned P.I. One day an FBI agent approaches and wants her to work for them. They want her to keep an eye on the daughter of a man who is going to testify against a criminal. So they send her to the college where the daughter is attending. And she tries to fit in while keeping an eye on her and trying to see if there's someone there who doesn't appear who they are.
A tough, street-smart private eye is hired by the FBI to go undercover in a college sorority.
RELEASED IN 2012 and directed by Tom Vaughan, &quot;So Undercover&quot; stars Miley Cyrus as a teen private investigator who&#39;s hired by an FBI agent (Jeremy Piven) to go undercover at a sorority. Mike O&#39;Malley plays her dad, Josh Bowman her potential beau and Matthew Settle her professor. <br/><br/>This was my first exposure to Miley as an actress (I&#39;ve never seen Hanna Montana, for instance) and she&#39;s effective for this kind of role, a formidable no-nonsense detective with wit and feminine charisma. I&#39;m not a fan of hers in any sense, but she&#39;s easily the most all-around attractive female in the cast, which is saying a lot since the events take place at a sorority. Or perhaps it&#39;s saying that the rest of the female cast is subpar as far as sex appeal goes. Other than that, they&#39;re all just fine. Bottom Line: This is a fun detective drama/adventure at a university highlighted by Cyrus as the protagonist; nothing more, but nothing less. <br/><br/>The movie runs 94 minutes and was shot entirely in Louisiana. I&#39;ve always like the movies about school etc. My daughter likes Miley Cyrus so I wanted to preview it before I&#39;d let her watch it (she&#39;s 6) and I think the movie is kid-proof:) I saw some other Miley movies (on top of her HannahMontana show) and I think this one was one of my favorites. (Nope I didn&#39;t really like the Last Song as much as I thought I would:( Miley was pretty good UNDERCOVER-it was actually enjoyable to see her all anti-girly like:))<br/><br/>I liked the silly blonde Cotton too-she was kinda funny:)<br/><br/>It&#39;s not a MUST SEE movie, but if you like that kind you&#39;ll be glad:) And yes it reminds some other movies but I&#39;m OK with that:)
