Lucas tears through a thicket

At that moment the Werelion exploded from the black forest beside her, roaring as he came. The thicket was shredded as he ran, his brute strength breaking its thorny hold on him. She stumbled, primal fear coming to the fore in the face of a greater, more ferocious killer. He snapped his massive jaws at her as he neared, his body closer to that of a lion than a man now.
