  1. "She's a problem, and that daft prick's only fucking worsening it."
  2.
  3. Ozone leant forward, arching his height and broad shoulders over Twi. Courtsey of their heated discussion, the muscles and veins in his neck were almost popping out of his neck as he spat out the words, shooting a glare into his peer. Twilight clearly wasn't phased by the large increments of difference of both size and stature between Ozone and her and was glaring right back - giving as good as she got.
  4.
  5. "And what? You'd have us go behind his back?"
  6.
  7. Ozone sighs, shaking his head as he turns, fishing something from his pocket. He has a sternly frustrated look sketched on his lined face and an aggrovated frown burrowed into his forehead. Twilight kept her gaze locked onto him, hissing lowly under her teeth as he reached into his pocket. He palms a cigar case out from the pocket of his scruffy, tan cargo pants. He utters, the tone of rage and irritation faded into a gradient of calm and reasoning.
  8.
  9. "I'd have us do something... No sittin' on our hands, while one of the one-hundred and one fucking dalmations is warranted to saunter around our Nexus, all 'cause our stupid tit of a 'leader' couldn't refrain from putting his dick inside her - inside it."
  10.
  11. Twilight murmurs a brief, quiet laugh as she shakes her head. The dim-lit room was slightly warmed by the cosy glow of Ozone's lighter and cigar, with the air infront of him sparkling courtsey of glowing embers from the cigar. Ozone took a deep, refreshing drag of the rich smoke before funneling it out in a steadied breath. He glanced up, observing his peer's light chuckle. In truth, he always had a confidential admiration for Twilight. The zest and power behind her rock-steady gaze intrigued Ozone - reminding him of himself. It was more than likely an attitude she developed from him, following her abrupt arrival to the Isles... When everyone was obsessed with teaching her comradeship and ritual-nonsense, he had led her down the right path. Regardless, her most prominent features to him were her blood-thirsty harpy rage and her unfaultering reliability. He kept in touch with plenty of killers, people who despised wolves... But none of whom he could invest so much trust as he did the Harpy.
  12.
  13. "I don't like it either, but I also don't like the idea of Reaper finding quarrel with me. With any of us."
  14.
  15. Twilight plainly responded, the sparkling caution and alert in her eyes receding. She relaxed her stance after satisfied with her reecing of Ozone's stance. It was unlikely Ozone would lay a finger on any of the squad - let alone his adopted protoge - yet knowing his temper and turbulent past, Twilight wasn't one for assuming. He nodded understandingly in response, twiddling the cigar between his fingers. Twi tilted her head, watching him. He had a stubborn look on his face as he contemplated, before he finally sighed, nodding again half-heartedly.
  16.
  17. "Aye, aye... You're right."
  18.
  19. He glanced up, meeting Twilight's stare. He knew his peer was talking a height of sense; Reaper was a well-connected, well-trained and well-capable man. If push came to shove, Ozone reeced himself more than a match for his leader. Though, he didn't fancy the web of vigilantes and manhunts that would follow, should he be forced to strike out against their leader. Suddenly, his furrowed brown sharpened from defeatist, to intuitive.
  20.
  21. "But that's why he doesn't find out."
  22.
  23. He paced back and fourth, tapping his fingers against his leg. Twi tilted her head onto a chewing cheek, shaking her head.
  24.
  25. "That's not right."
  26.
  27. The scot shook his head, crossing his arms as he did so. A nodding smirk seemed to crawl across his thinking face as he formulated his argument.
  28.
  29. "Correct."
  30.
  31. Twi
