The Legend of the Silver Tortoise.


The kingdom of the Winding Meteor existed for a few centuries.  Life and their contact with other kingdom, one of Giff known as The Gust Throne, to the western shores.  The Elven and Orc kingdom of Vayrnfell to the east and with the Winding Meteor being in the central area of the contient.  Nearly a decade ago there was an event known as The Fallen Star, where a strange object from space fell and caused a devastating wave of magic. and ever since then, strange floating rocks had formed that hover above the continent spawning the Aeir kingdom, a group of all sorts of races utilizing magic to exist on a floating city.

Our story will begin with a group of people that often work together.  They hail from different guilds, different mercenary groups but they've always been trusted by the Continental Alliance with several sorts of jobs that transcend kingdom borders.  It has come at an unexpected time because a large amount of the Alliance's resources had been poured into researching The Fallen Star and they had begun to travel to the far reaches of the world to try to find a way to prevent it from happening again.  So the highest ranking members of the Alliance would be away, which led to a more amateur-ish group to start working togehter in the absence of the guild leaders.

They would be hired by Varynfell by an incredibly high profile client, they were quite secretive about what details of the mission and were all told to meet at the Reyvaris estate in the Winding Meteor kingdom.
