  1. - You will need a 1.02 SSBM ISO. If you don't have one, Google it.
  2. - If you would like to make sure your disc is version 1.02, download InternetExplorer's Melee Toolkit and load your game image with it.
  3. The program will immediately tell you what version it is.
  4.
  5. Melee Toolkit v1.03 Download Link: http://smashboards.com/threads/melee-toolkit-now-available-v1-03-alpha.334274/
  6.
  7. 1) Open GCRebuilder (GCR)
  8. 2) At top, choose "Image" --> "Open.."
  9. 3) Find your ISO and click on it
  10. - GCR should now have Melee loaded
  11. 4) In the file tree list on the right, right-click on "root" at the top and click "Export"
  12. - Export it to wherever you'd like
  13. - This may take a minute or two depending how badass your computer is
  14.
  15. -Close GCR for a few steps -
  16.
  17. 5) Once it is complete, navigate to that "root" folder that you just exported and leave that window open
  18. 6) In the downloaded "(1.02) 20XX File Replacements [3.00]" folder, there is another folder titled "File Replacements". Copy all the files in there EXCEPT Start.dol and paste them into the "root" folder
  19. - tell the computer to "Copy and Replace" for all the conflicts
  20. 7) Now open up the "&&systemdata" folder that is within the "root" folder, at the top.
  21. -Paste the 20XX Start.dol file in here and overwrite the original file
  22.
  23. - Open GCR -
  24. 9) At the top, hit "Root" --> "Open..."
  25. - find your "root" folder and click on it then hit OK
  26. - GCR should have Melee loaded again
  27. 10) At the top, hit "Root" --> "Save..."
  28. - give it a file name and a save destination and hit "Save"
  29. - GCR should seem like it didn't do anything
  30.
  31. LAST STEP
  32. 11) At the top, hit "Root" --> "Rebuild"
  33. - it will rebuild your ISO and save it to the destination you chose
  34.
  35. Load that ISO on a hacked Wii and welcome...to 20XX Melee.
