It was a spur-of-the-moment decision
My only objective in that fight was to knock out the Decidueye
Once that happened extremely early in the fight I figured it was all downhill from there and I thought this would be funny

with 15 games in the season, them being at 2-8 means they could catch up to Philo at 6-6
it's still mathematically possible that they could win out and have a record that gets them into playoffs
I don't know how the matchups affect them or the people in between them as far as one or the other person in a game being guaranteed a win
but on the surface it's theoretically possible
and I think deliberately losing to someone who it's still possible for is the antithesis of competitive spirit
memeing is one thing, but not when there's arguably something to play for

Alright I admit that this was a really bad call on my part
although I find the notion of setting limits on if/when one is allowed to concede a fight to be... unsettling

As far as setting limits on when/if conceding is okay? It's not so much setting a limit
It's not wasting people's time (that goes for spectators as well) and not deliberately sacking the competitive side of things purely to try to get a laugh
There's a line, and not a fine one, between that and a forfeit that's caused by tilt or feeling like you're in an unwinnable position
