Waylan cosmic 3

[09:00] Walyan took quite some time away from his meditation, but he wanted to have an understanding about what these connections met him.

He strived to be like his mother, but she wasn't here to guide him, so he needed to put the pieces together by himself. Waylan believed in himself and the lessons he's been taught along the way.

He truly felt that he'd have control over the basic parts of holy and cosmic soon. He'd been able to stop by his mother's grave with good news this time!

He crossed his legs and began trying to connect the star he believes is part of his family.

[11:57] Waylan eyes remained closed for what seemed like hours, meditating, focusing, accepting the belief that holy and cosmic magic go hand and hand.

This might not be the case for every branch within the faith; however, this was something he believed in very much. If he truly took the mantle after his mother he had to put himself in her place.

A smile formed across his face, now was the time where he'd truly speak with the star to gain understanding.

[12:43] Finally he cleared his head, yet he couldn't get a clear picture of the star. When all else failed he thought about his mother and her connection with the star, he thought about all the good she's done and the people that truly care for her.

He thought about how much she had already given up for his well being and his sibling.

Waylan wanted to make her proud and with that he finally decided to speak.

"Biblos… I know you've been watching over my like you did my mother all those years ago. I made a promise to live life though her and continue her legacy...

I can only do this by taking the first step towards unlocking the cosmic magic within me.

I ask you to guide me like you did my mother and together we can bring passion to all those who are in pain.."

With that Waylan felt he's made a major leap in his life and he began moving down the path of attempting to learn the magical arts.

[13:57] Waylan continued speaking with the star in-order to strengthen his connection with the star of passion. He felt as if the first step was completed and he needed to work on the next step.

Waylan opened his hand and he attempted to draw cosmic energy into his palm.

There was nothing but silence, how long would this take? He wasn't sure if he's been training long enough, but he wasn't about to give up.

He held his focus for the time being, trying to draw in the cosmic energy into his body.

[14:55] After a while a small spark began forming in his palm, this was exciting, but he was a little too excited. One of the cosmic sparks burned his hand pretty badly, but he was still a novice at this kind of thing.

He quickly ran to the edge and dipped his hand within the ocean water. The salt water wasn't much of an help and only caused the pain to increase.

He held his hand tightly and chuckled soon after..

"I need to be careful.."

[15:38] Waylan waited a little before attempting to draw cosmic magic into his body again. This time he managed to form a little cosmic spark, but this time he tried to keep his focus.

He noticed the energy getting closer to his hand and he quickly tossed the spark into the water. He didn't want to burn his other hand up.

He laughed a little, but now he took a break as he prepared to try again in a little while.

[16:43] Waylan felt he's made a decent amount of progress today, in fact he was ready to try again for the second time. He'd open his hand and wait for a spark to fill his palm again.

The cosmic energy began growing in his palm, he felt like he had it this time. The young boy began taking a deep breath and it hoped, hard work, and faith finally paid off.

He managed to keep the smallest amount o cosmic energy in his hand without losing it. He didn't burn himself, and he didn't toss it away it felt like his hard work finally paid off.

He hoped his mother was proud.

[17:34] Waylan was proud of all the progress he made thus far, and he'd move back to doing meditation. There needed to be a strengthen with his connection to ensure this was built on a sturdy foundation.

He crossed his legs and sat along the edge he could hear the water crashing against the mountain. This setting was quite peaceful and he couldn't wait..

He attempt to make another connection with his star, hoping that when the time was right they'd connect well.

[22:24] Waylan felt he's done each practice for today, it was time to take a walk on the town and allow his mind to rest. He's taken a huge leap towards his growth and advancements in the cosmic arts.

He'd slowly rise up, breaking from his meditative position with a smile. It wouldn't be long before he'd have the art of cosmic magic learned.

He still had holy next on the list, but with how well this was going he felt this should be a piece of cake for him.
