THE SOLUTION:
After considering the rules for his puzzle, you'll soon realize that acquiring the legit Zora Mask is impossible, because Bunny Hood is banned but is a necessary step to unlock the racial masks. So the answer to getting the Zora Mask must be Bottle Adventure.

Zora Mask is item value 41. Most of the creative methods of BA are impossible since equipping adult trade items as child are banned. And all the simple means of BA with ammo counts that can get above 40 are banned (arrows, bombchus, deku seeds). So the only things that are left are finding a way to force an ammo count that is usually capped below 41 high enough. Deku nuts and bombs are capped at 40, and almost certainly have no way to go higher. If you arrived at Magic Beans as the likely culprit, then you're absolutely right.

Conventional knowledge puts the cap on Magic Bean ammo at 40 with RBA. However if you RBA bean count to, say, 29 with bugs, then buy your first bean, your bean count is automatically set to 1. So it seems you must buy a bean first, then RBA some with Spooky Mask. Then plant some to get down to 26, then you can do half milk RBA to jump from 26 to 31. Finally there are 9 more beans available to buy, putting the cap at a grand total of 40. Right?

Not quite. Turns out there's a trick to squeeze out one more bean. Remember how you need to buy one bean first in order for your RBA'ed values to survive another purchase? Well that's actually only half the story. It's not directly buying a bean that matters, it's just having something on the bean slot. And there is one way to fill the bean slot without having purchased any beans: RBA with boomerang on C right puts a bottle on the bean slot. So before purchasing any beans, you would put a bottle on the bean slot, RBA your count above 26, then plant a few beans to get down to 26, half milk RBA for 31, then purchase all 10 beans from the vendor for a total of 41. Perfect!

But wait, there's one more wrench in the machine. How can you plant the beans to get down to 26 for half milk RBA? You have the ammo, but you don't have any equippable beans since there's a bottle on the slot! So the final bit of the puzzle is the need to perform child BA to get beans on child B after RBAing your ammo. Regular BA won't work since dirt patches only appear as child.

So the final sequence of events necessary to solve the puzzle is:
-Get boomerang, RBA it to put a bottle on the bean slot.
-Trade up to spooky mask with the normal trade quest.
-Use spooky mask and bugs to RBA 29 beans (or blue fire to rba 28 beans)
-Get the mushroom as child in Fortress (but don't equip it, that's not allowed)
-Go adult, trade up to odd potion and use it to get song of time for easy BA.
-BA value 16 to get magic beans on adult B. Put it on temp B and return to child.
-Go lose your sword at Ganon via deku wrong warp and don't dim B along the way.
-Warp song out of the Ganon fight then die for beans on B as child.
-Plant beans down to 26 total.
-Get bottle on B and drop its contents with spooky mask on c-right for half milk RBA and 31 beans.
-Purchase 10 beans (keep in mind, your inventory will still show only a bottle. You have to trust that your ammo count is correct!)
-Finally, BA with spooky mask on child c-right to get Zora Mask on adult B.
-Talk to cucco lady for the egg, preferably as early morning as you can so you don't have to rush to fortress.
-Alternatively, instead of using mushroom as child to skip the adult egg, you could have used up the adult egg in the trade quest on your way to RBAing odd potion for song of time. In that case, you can bring the Weird Egg from the last child segment with you to the fortress as adult, using equip swap to put it on C.
