  1. 2. Certain government buildings are secured locations which do not allow mobile
  2. devices in order to prevent transfer of or uploading of sensitive information. Could
  3. someone turn a ReSound LiNX 3D or ENZO 3D hearing aid into a storage device and
  4. load sensitive information through Bluetooth LE or the ReSound proprietary 2.4 GHz
  5. wireless technology?
  6.
  7. ReSound LiNX 3Dand ENZO3D and other ReSound wireless hearing
  8. aids contain less than 1KB of onboard writable storage and this
  9. area is only used to store program names. Any attempt to overwrite
  10. this storage would need to be done through a mobile phone that
  11. is capable of writing data via Bluetooth LE. If mobile devices are
  12. prohibited in a specific facilities, there is virtually no risk that the
  13. ReSound LiNX 3Dand ENZO3D or other ReSound wireless hearing
  14. aids could be used independently to take information. In the highly
  15. unlikely event data is captured, the writable storage is so small, no
  16. useful information could be stored.
